Abstract
Description
Electronic device and method of operation thereof
[0001] Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an electronic device including a fingerprint sensor capable of guiding a fingerprint sensing position and a method of operating the same.
[0002] An electronic device may refer to a device that performs a specified function according to a program installed on it, such as, for example, a home appliance, an electronic organizer, a portable multimedia player, a mobile communication terminal, a tablet PC, an audio / video device, a desktop / laptop computer, or an in-vehicle navigation system. An electronic device (e.g., a smartphone, a mobile phone, a tablet PC, a laptop PC) may include a touch sensor (e.g., a touch screen) for detecting a user's touch (e.g., a finger touch). An electronic device may include a fingerprint sensor for sensing (e.g., detecting) a user's fingerprint. A capacitive fingerprint sensor, an optical fingerprint sensor, or an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is used as a fingerprint sensor used in an electronic device. The fingerprint sensor may be disposed under a display or inside the display (e.g., a Fingerprint on Display (FoD)). The fingerprint sensor may operate by acquiring a fingerprint image when a user's finger touches the display panel.
[0003] The above-described material is provided solely as background information to aid in understanding the embodiments of the present disclosure. No determination has been made, and no claims are made, as to whether any of the above material constitutes prior art in connection with the present disclosure.
[0004] When fingerprints are collected using a fingerprint sensor placed on an electronic device (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition, fingerprint registration), and fingerprint matching issues occur after fingerprint collection, guidance can be provided based on the information collected by the fingerprint sensor. For example, if a portion of the fingerprint image collected by the fingerprint sensor is blank, the user's finger can be guided to cover the entire fingerprint sensor, assuming that only a portion of the fingerprint sensor has been touched. Furthermore, the touch location and touch pressure information collected by the touch sensor can be combined with fingerprint image information to guide the finger's position during fingerprint recognition.
[0005] When a user's finger touches the surface of a display (e.g., the screen) for fingerprint recognition, the position of the finger may change at the start of the touch (touch down, finger touch start), the intermediate point during fingerprint recognition (e.g., touch move, finger movement), and the end of the touch (touch up, finger touch end) when the finger is lifted from the screen. For example, even if a finger is touched at the location of the fingerprint sensor, the center point of the finger (e.g., touch center point) may change over time due to the motion of the finger being pressed against the screen. Although the user touches the center of the fingerprint icon displayed on the screen at once, the center point of the finger (e.g., touch center point) may actually move from the outer part of the fingerprint icon to the center. If the finger does not touch the location where the fingerprint sensor is placed accurately and moves during fingerprint recognition, the fingerprint recognition rate may decrease, and fingerprint registration and fingerprint authentication may not be performed normally.
[0006] The present disclosure can provide an electronic device and an operating method thereof that can increase the recognition rate during fingerprint registration and authentication through guidance according to the operating state of a fingerprint sensor and changes in the touch position of a finger.
[0007] The present disclosure provides an electronic device and an operating method thereof that can sense the position of a finger at the time when fingerprint collection of a finger begins, the time when the fingerprint is actually collected, and the time when fingerprint collection is completed, and provide a guide for fingerprint collection, fingerprint registration, and fingerprint authentication to a user based on the position of the finger.
[0008] The technical tasks to be achieved in this document are not limited to the technical tasks mentioned above, and other technical tasks not mentioned can be clearly understood by a person with ordinary knowledge in the technical field to which this document belongs from the description below.
[0009] An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include: a display including a touch sensor; a fingerprint sensor disposed below the display and configured to sense a fingerprint signal passing through the display; a processor; and a memory operatively connected to the processor and including instructions. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the electronic device may obtain at least two of first location information according to a touch input of the touch sensor at a touch start point where a user's finger makes contact with the display, second location information according to a touch input of the touch sensor at a touch maintenance point where the touch of the finger is maintained, and third location information according to a touch input of the touch sensor at a touch release point where the finger (710) is lifted from the display. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the electronic device may provide a guide for sensing a user's fingerprint based on at least two or more of the first to third location information and location information of a fingerprint detection area of the display.
[0010] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for operating an electronic device can obtain at least two pieces of first location information according to a touch input of a touch sensor of the electronic device at a touch start point where a user's finger touches a display of the electronic device, second location information according to a touch input of the touch sensor at a touch maintenance point where the touch of the finger is maintained, and third location information according to a touch input of the touch sensor at a touch release point where the finger is lifted from the display. Based on at least two pieces of location information of the first to third location information and location information of a fingerprint detection area of the display, a guide for sensing a user's fingerprint can be provided.
[0011] In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a recording medium storing instructions readable by a processor of an electronic device may be provided, wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the electronic device to obtain at least two of: first location information according to a touch input of a touch sensor of the electronic device at a touch start point where a user's finger touches a display, second location information according to a touch input of the touch sensor at a touch maintenance point where the touch of the finger is maintained, and third location information according to a touch input of the touch sensor at a touch release point where the finger is lifted from the display. Based on at least two or more of the first to third location information and location information of a fingerprint detection area of the display, a guide for sensing a user's fingerprint may be provided.
[0012] An electronic device and its operating method according to one embodiment of the present disclosure can increase the recognition rate during fingerprint registration and authentication by providing a guide according to the operating state of a fingerprint sensor and changes in the touch position of a finger, thereby enabling a user's finger to accurately touch the position where the fingerprint sensor is placed.
[0013] An electronic device and its operating method according to one embodiment of the present disclosure can sense the position of a finger at a time when fingerprint collection of a finger starts, a time when a fingerprint is actually collected, and a time when fingerprint collection is completed, and provide a guide for fingerprint collection, fingerprint registration, and fingerprint authentication to a user based on the position of the finger.

[0068] It should be understood that the embodiments of the present disclosure and the terminology used therein are not intended to limit the technical features described in this document to a specific embodiment, but include various modifications, equivalents, or substitutes of the embodiment. In connection with the description of the drawings, similar reference numerals may be used for similar or related components. The singular form of a noun corresponding to an item may include one or more of the item, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. In this document, each of the phrases "A or B", "at least one of A and B", "at least one of A or B", "A, B, or C", "at least one of A, B, and C", and "at least one of A, B, or C" can include any one of the items listed together in the corresponding phrase among the phrases, or all possible combinations thereof. Terms such as "first," "second," or "first" or "second" may be used merely to distinguish one component from another, and do not limit the components in any other respect (e.g., importance or order). When a component (e.g., a first component) is referred to as "coupled" or "connected" to another component (e.g., a second component), with or without the terms "functionally" or "communicatively," it means that the component can be connected to the other component directly (e.g., wired), wirelessly, or through a third component.

[0070] An embodiment of the present disclosure may be implemented as software (e.g., a program (140)) including one or more instructions stored in a storage medium (e.g., an internal memory (136) or an external memory (138)) readable by a machine (e.g., an electronic device (101)). For example, a processor (e.g., a processor (120)) of the machine (e.g., an electronic device (101)) may call at least one instruction among the one or more instructions stored from the storage medium and execute it. This enables the machine to operate to perform at least one function according to the at least one called instruction. The one or more instructions may include code generated by a compiler or code executable by an interpreter. The machine-readable storage medium may be provided in the form of a non-transitory storage medium. Here, 'non-transitory' simply means that the storage medium is a tangible device and does not contain signals (e.g., electromagnetic waves), and the term does not distinguish between cases where data is stored semi-permanently or temporarily on the storage medium.

The processor (120) may perform fingerprint registration and fingerprint authentication operations based on the fingerprint image.
[0205] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) of the electronic device (400) can perform fingerprint recognition using a fingerprint sensor circuit (480). For example, the processor (120) can determine that fingerprint recognition is initiated when an application program requesting user authentication (e.g., fingerprint recognition) is executed.
[0206] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) of the electronic device (400) may generate a control signal for instructing the switching of the fingerprint sensor (481) to an active state based on a determination to start fingerprint recognition when the fingerprint sensor (481) is in an inactive state. The processor (120) may transmit the control signal for instructing the switching of the fingerprint sensor (481) to an active state to a fingerprint sensor IC (483). The fingerprint sensor IC (483) may operate the fingerprint sensor (481) based on the control signal from the processor (120).
[0207] According to one embodiment, the fingerprint sensor circuit (480) can acquire user's biometric information (e.g., fingerprint image, fingerprint information) by scanning a finger in contact with the upper surface (e.g., screen) of the display (410). The fingerprint sensor circuit (480) can provide the acquired user's biometric information (e.g., fingerprint image, fingerprint information) to the processor (120).
[0208] According to one embodiment, application programs related to fingerprint recognition may include payment application programs requesting user authentication, unlocking application programs, financial (e.g., banking, securities) application programs, and / or virtual asset application programs. For example, application programs related to fingerprint recognition and data for executing the application programs related to fingerprint recognition may be stored in memory (130) (e.g., memory (130) of FIG. 1 ).
[0209] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may store various data used by at least one component of the electronic device (400), such as the processor (120), the display (410), and / or the fingerprint sensor circuit (480). For example, the data may include a reference fingerprint image related to user authentication, and / or fingerprint information acquired through fingerprint recognition.
[0210] According to one embodiment, the display (410) may display information processed in the electronic device (400). For example, the display (410) may display content related to an application program executed by the processor (120). Information related to fingerprint recognition for fingerprint registration, information related to the completion of fingerprint recognition, information related to fingerprint authentication, and a guide (e.g., guide content (1700) of FIG. 17) for ensuring that the user's finger touches the correct location during fingerprint sensing may be displayed.
[0211] FIG. 6 is a drawing showing that the center point of a finger (e.g., touch center point, touch center point) changes when a user touches a display with a finger to sense a fingerprint.
[0212] Referring to FIG. 6, when a finger (e.g., a finger (710) of FIG. 7) touches the surface (e.g., the screen) of the display (410) for fingerprint recognition, the center point (610) of the finger (e.g., the touch center point) may change at the touch start (touch down, finger touch start), the intermediate point (e.g., touch move, finger movement) at which fingerprint recognition is performed, and the touch end (touch up, finger touch end) when the finger is lifted from the screen. For example, when the finger is pressed on the screen of the display (410), the center point (610) of the finger (e.g., the touch center point) may change at the touch start point (a), the intermediate points (b, c), and the touch end point (d). If the finger does not accurately touch the location where the fingerprint sensor is disposed and the center point (610) of the finger (e.g., the touch center point) moves, the fingerprint recognition rate may decrease, and errors may occur during fingerprint registration and fingerprint authentication.
[0213] Figure 7 is a drawing showing obtaining a fingerprint image using a fingerprint sensor.
[0214] Referring to FIG. 7, when a user's finger (710) touches the display (410) (e.g., the display (410) of FIG. 4) for fingerprint recognition, a processor (e.g., the processor (120) of FIGS. 4 and 5) may activate a fingerprint sensor circuit (e.g., the fingerprint sensor circuit (480) of FIGS. 4 and 5) at a touch start point (730, touch down time) (e.g., a first point in time) where the first touch is made. Thereafter, the fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point, a fingerprint sensing point in time) (e.g., a fingerprint collection section, a fingerprint recognition point in time, a fingerprint image acquisition point in time) where a fingerprint is collected, thereby recognizing a fingerprint of the finger (710) (e.g., a fingerprint image acquisition point in time). Thereafter, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at a touch release point (750) (e.g., a third point in time, a touch end point) where the touch ends. At a touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) where a touch of a finger (710) begins, a touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), a touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end point) (e.g., the final position when the finger is lifted), the finger (710) must be kept in touch with an area (482) where a fingerprint sensor (e.g., fingerprint sensor (481) of FIGS. 4 and 5) is disposed. That is, at a touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), a touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and a touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end point), the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) must be formed at a position where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed, so that the fingerprint recognition rate can be increased and fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally.
[0215] For example, a fingerprint may be collected (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) through a fingerprint sensor (481) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., second point in time, fingerprint acquisition point in time, fingerprint sensing point in time), but there may be a difference in the time at which the user recognizes that the fingerprint will be collected (e.g., a difference in the time at which the fingerprint is actually collected in the electronic device and the time at which the user recognizes that the fingerprint is being collected). The user may think that fingerprint collection (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) is performed based on the time at which the finger (710) stops on the screen of the display (410). The fingerprint sensor may guide based on the time at which fingerprint collection is completed, but the user may think of it based on the time at which the finger stops.
[0216] The electronic device provides guidance for fingerprint collection (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) based on the time at which fingerprint collection (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) of the finger (710) is completed, but there may be a difference in the time at which the user recognizes fingerprint collection (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition).
[0217] Figure 8 is a drawing showing a fingerprint sensor area, a touch recognition area, and a finger drag area.
[0218] Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure (e.g., the electronic device (400) of FIG. 4) may display a fingerprint icon (820) at a location (810) where a fingerprint sensor (481) is positioned to inform a user of the location (810) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is positioned.
[0219] An electronic device (400) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure can perform, during fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication, (1) a fingerprint collection operation, (2) an operation of registering a fingerprint and processing a fingerprint recognition image through a post-processing process of the collected fingerprint, and (3) an operation of outputting (e.g., displaying, providing feedback) the result of fingerprint recognition to a user.
[0220] According to one embodiment, the sensor area (830) is a location where a fingerprint sensor (841) is placed, and fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (830).
[0221] According to one embodiment, the touch recognition area (840) is arranged on the periphery of the sensor area (830), and is a location where the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) can be changed (e.g., moved) to the sensor area (830) by the movement (e.g., movement) of the finger (710). The touch recognition area (840) is an area that continuously detects the touch of the finger (710), since the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) can be changed (e.g., moved) to the sensor area (830) when the finger (710) touches the touch recognition area (840). The electronic device (400) can detect the touch of the finger (710) in the touch recognition area (840).
[0222] According to one embodiment, the drag recognition area (850) is positioned on the periphery of the touch recognition area (840) and is an area that detects the touch of a finger (710) so as to be able to follow the operation of the fingerprint sensor (841). The electronic device (400) can detect the touch of the finger (710) in the drag recognition area (850) because the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) can be changed (e.g., moved) to the touch recognition area (840) or the sensor area (830) by the drag of the finger (710).
[0223] An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure (e.g., the electronic device (400) of FIG. 4) may provide (e.g., output, display) a guide so that a finger (710) can touch a sensor area (830) where a fingerprint sensor (481) is arranged at a touch start point (730) (e.g., a first time point) where the first touch is made (e.g., a first time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point), and a touch release point (750) (e.g., a third time point, a touch end time point) in order to increase a fingerprint collection (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) recognition rate.
[0224] According to one embodiment, when a finger (710) touches a touch recognition area (840) located at the periphery of a sensor area (830), the electronic device (400) can provide a guide (e.g., output, display) so that the finger (710) can touch the sensor area (830) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is arranged.
[0225] According to one embodiment, when a finger (710) touches a drag recognition area (850) located outside a touch recognition area (840), the electronic device (400) may provide a guide (e.g., output, display) so that the finger (710) can touch a sensor area (830) where a fingerprint sensor (481) is arranged.
[0226] FIG. 9A is a diagram illustrating an operation method of an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0227] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 9A, in operation 901, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched. For example, the processor (120) may operate the touch circuit (450) to sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched. For example, when the user's finger (710) touches the display (410), the processor (120) may activate the fingerprint sensor circuit (480) at the touch starting point (730) where the first touch was made for fingerprint recognition.
[0228] In operation 902, the electronic device (400) can determine the location of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) where the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) can determine the location of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) where the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0229] In operation 903, the electronic device (400) can sense a fingerprint of a finger (710) and acquire a fingerprint image at a touch holding point (740) that collects the fingerprint (e.g., acquires a fingerprint image).
[0230] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0231] In operation 904, for example, a finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at a touch release point (750) where the touch ends. The electronic device (400) may determine the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch release point (750) where the touch ends when the finger (710) is lifted off the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may determine the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch release point (750) where the touch ends when the finger (710) is lifted off the display (410).
[0232] For example, the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730), touch hold point (740), and touch release point (750) must be formed at the location where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed, so that the fingerprint recognition rate can be increased and fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally.
[0233] For example, the electronic device (400) may determine the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730), the touch hold point (740), and the touch release point (750), and perform operation 905 based on the determination result.
[0234] For example, the processor (120) may determine the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730), the touch hold point (740), and the touch release point (750), and perform operation 905 based on the determination result.
[0235] In operation 905, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., the touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located outside the sensor area (e.g., the sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at at least one of the touch start point (730) and the touch release point (750), the electronic device (400) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0236] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., the touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located outside the sensor area (e.g., the sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at at least one of the touch start point (730) and the touch release point (750), the processor (120) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0237] For example, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located outside the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at at least one of the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point), the electronic device (400) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0238] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located outside the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at at least one of the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point), the processor (120) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0239] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output a guide so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output a guide for sensing the user's fingerprint based on the location of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) determined from at least one of the touch start point (730) and the touch release point (750).
[0240] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) may output a guide so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output a guide for sensing the user's fingerprint based on the location of the center point (e.g., the touch center point) of the finger (710) determined from at least one of the touch start point (730) and the touch release point (750).
[0241] For example, the electronic device (400) may output a guide for sensing the user's fingerprint based on the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) determined at the touch start point (730) and / or the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point). For example, the electronic device (400) may display a guide phrase on the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may output the guide as sound using an audio output device (e.g., the audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0242] For example, the processor (120) may output a guide for sensing the user's fingerprint based on the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) determined at the touch start point (730) and / or the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point). For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display a guide phrase. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide as sound using an audio output device (e.g., the audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0243] According to one embodiment, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the electronic device (400) may not output a guide as illustrated in '1710' of FIG. 17.
[0244] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point), the processor (120) may not output a guide.
[0245] According to another embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output a guide (or not output a guide) by determining the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), as well as the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point).
[0246] According to another embodiment, the processor (120) may output a guide (or not output a guide) by determining the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), as well as the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point).
[0247] According to one embodiment, at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed, but at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) may not be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed. For example, the electronic device (400) may output a guide so that the user touches the finger (710) in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed for a little longer. For example, the processor (120) may output a guide so that the user touches the finger (710) a little longer on the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed.
[0248] According to one embodiment, at a touch start point (730) (e.g., a first time point), the center point (e.g., a touch center point) of the user's finger (710) may not be located in a sensor area (e.g., a sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed, and at a touch release point (750) (e.g., a third time point, a touch end time point), the center point (e.g., a touch center point) of the user's finger (710) may be located in a sensor area (e.g., a sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed. For example, the electronic device (400) may output a guide so that the user can touch the finger (710) in the sensor area (e.g., a sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed. For example, the electronic device (400) may output a guide (1780) of FIG. 17 including 'Please touch the sensor icon with your finger at once.' For example, the processor (120) may output a guide so that the user can touch the sensor area (e.g., the sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is arranged with the finger (710). For example, the processor (120) may output a guide (1780) of FIG. 17 including 'Please touch the sensor icon with your finger at once.'
[0249] For example, the electronic device (400) can display the guide (1780) text on the display (410). For example, the electronic device (400) can output the guide (1780) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0250] For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display the guide (1780) text. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1780) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0251] According to one embodiment, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the electronic device (400) may determine that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point). In this case, the electronic device (400) may output a guide (or not output a guide).
[0252] According to one embodiment, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the processor (120) may determine that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is also located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point). In this case, the processor (120) may output a guide (or not output a guide).
[0253] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 901 to 905 of FIG. 9A. FIG. 9B is a diagram illustrating a method of operating an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0254] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 9B, in operation 910, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched. For example, the processor (120) may operate the touch circuit (450) to sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched. For example, when the user's finger (710) touches the display (410), the processor (120) may activate the fingerprint sensor circuit (480) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., the first point in time) where the first touch is made for fingerprint recognition.
[0255] In operation 920, the electronic device (400) may determine the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) at which the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may determine the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) at which the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0256] In operation 930, the electronic device (400) can sense the fingerprint of the finger (710) and determine the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) at which the fingerprint is collected (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition). For example, the processor (120) can sense the fingerprint of the finger (710) and determine the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a second time point (740) at which the fingerprint is collected (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition).
[0257] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point in time, a fingerprint sensing point in time) to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0258] In operation 940, for example, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the touch ends. The electronic device (400) may determine the position of the center point (e.g., the touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the finger (710) is lifted off the display (410) and the touch ends. For example, the processor (120) may determine the position of the center point (e.g., the touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the finger (710) is lifted off the display (410) and the touch ends. The center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) must be formed at the location where the fingerprint sensor (481) is positioned at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time), touch hold point (740) (e.g., second point in time, fingerprint acquisition point in time, fingerprint sensing point in time), and touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point in time) so that the fingerprint recognition rate can be increased and fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally.
[0259] In operation 950, the electronic device (400) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing if it is determined that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located outside the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at at least one of the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second point in time, fingerprint acquisition point in time, fingerprint sensing point in time), and / or the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point in time). For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located outside the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at at least one of the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second point in time, fingerprint acquisition point in time, fingerprint sensing point in time), and / or the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point in time), the processor (120) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0260] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output a guide so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output a guide for sensing the user's fingerprint based on the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) determined at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and / or the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point). For example, the processor (120) may output a guide for sensing the user's fingerprint based on the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) determined at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and / or the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time). For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display a guide phrase. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide as sound using an audio output device (e.g., audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0261] According to one embodiment, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the electronic device (400) may not output a guide as illustrated in '1710' of FIG. 17. For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the processor (120) may not output a guide.
[0262] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the electronic device (400) may output a guide indicating that fingerprint sensing of the finger (710) is performed normally. For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is arranged at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the processor (120) may output a guide indicating that fingerprint sensing of the finger (710) is performed normally.
[0263] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 910 through 950 of FIG. 9B.
[0264] FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating an operating method of an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. In describing the operations of FIG. 10, detailed descriptions of operations identical (or similar) to those of FIG. 9a or FIG. 9b may be omitted.
[0265] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 10, in operation 1010, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched.
[0266] In operation 1020, the electronic device (400) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) at which the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) at which the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0267] In operation 1025, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed. For example, the processor (120) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed.
[0268] As a result of the determination of operation 1025, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (No), operations '1330' of FIG. 13 and operations after '1330' may be performed. Not limited thereto, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (No), operations '1430' of FIG. 14 and operations after '1430' or operations '1530' of FIG. 15 and operations after '1530' may be performed.
[0269] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed, it may include that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located outside the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (e.g., located in the touch recognition area (840) or drag recognition area (850) of FIG. 8).
[0270] As a result of the judgment of operation 1025, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed (Yes), operation 1030 can be performed.
[0271] In operation 1030, the electronic device (400) can acquire the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) where the fingerprint is sensed (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) by sensing the fingerprint of the finger (710). For example, the processor (120) can acquire the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) where the fingerprint is sensed (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) by collecting the fingerprint.
[0272] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point in time, a fingerprint sensing point in time) to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0273] In operation 1035, the electronic device (400) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed. For example, the processor (120) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed.
[0274] As a result of the judgment of operation 1035, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second point in time, fingerprint acquisition point in time, fingerprint sensing point in time) (No), operations '1140' of FIG. 11 and operations after '1140' can be performed.
[0275] Here, in a case where the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) may be located outside the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (e.g., located in the touch recognition area (840) or drag recognition area (850) of FIG. 8).
[0276] As a result of the judgment of operation 1035, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second point in time, fingerprint acquisition point in time, fingerprint sensing point in time) (Yes), operation 1040 can be performed.
[0277] In operation 1040, for example, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the touch ends. The electronic device (400) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., the touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the finger (710) is lifted off the display (410) and the touch ends. For example, the processor (120) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., the touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the finger (710) is lifted off the display (410) and the touch ends.
[0278] In operation 1045, the electronic device (400) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point). For example, the processor (120) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point).
[0279] As a result of the judgment of operation 1045, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), operation 1050 can be performed.
[0280] In operation 1050, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0281] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0282] As a result of the judgment of operation 1045, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point) (No), operation 1060 can be performed.
[0283] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the user's finger (710) may be located outside the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (e.g., located in the touch recognition area (840) or drag recognition area (850) of FIG. 8).
[0284] In operation 1060, the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may not be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point).
[0285] For example, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), the electronic device (400) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0286] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), it can determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0287] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1720) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1720) including 'Please maintain the initial touch state.'
[0288] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) may output the guide (1720) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1720) including 'Please maintain the initial touch state.'
[0289] For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display the guide (1720) text. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1720) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0290] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 1010 through 1060 of FIG. 10.
[0291] FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating an operating method of an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. In describing the operations of FIG. 11, detailed descriptions of operations identical (or similar) to the operations of FIG. 9A, FIG. 9B, or FIG. 10 may be omitted.
[0292] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 11, in operation 1110, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched. For example, the processor (120) may operate the touch circuit (450) to sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched. For example, when the user's finger (710) touches the display (410), the processor (120) may activate the fingerprint sensor circuit (480) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., the first point in time) where the first touch is made for fingerprint recognition.
[0293] In operation 1120, the electronic device (400) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0294] In operation 1125, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0295] As a result of the determination of operation 1125, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (No), the processor (120) may perform operations '1330' and operations after '1330' of FIG. 13. Not limited thereto, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (No), the processor (120) may perform operations '1430' and operations after '1430' of FIG. 14 or operations '1530' and operations after '1530' of FIG. 15.
[0296] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0297] As a result of the judgment of operation 1125, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed (Yes), operation 1130 can be performed.
[0298] In operation 1130, the electronic device (400) may sense a fingerprint of a finger (710) and acquire a position of a center point (e.g., a touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) at which the fingerprint is collected (e.g., a fingerprint image is obtained). For example, the processor (120) may sense a fingerprint of a finger (710) and acquire a position of a center point (e.g., a touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) at which the fingerprint is collected (e.g., a fingerprint image is obtained).
[0299] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point in time, a fingerprint sensing point in time) to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0300] In operation 1135, the electronic device (400) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0301] As a result of the judgment of operation 1135, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second point in time, fingerprint acquisition point in time, fingerprint sensing point in time) (Yes), the processor (120) can perform operations '1040' of FIG. 10 and operations after '1040'.
[0302] As a result of the judgment of operation 1135, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1140.
[0303] Here, in a case where the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0304] In operation 1140, for example, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the touch ends.
[0305] In operation 1145, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point). For example, the processor (120) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point).
[0306] As a result of the judgment of operation 1145, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point in time, touch end point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operations '1250' of FIG. 12 and operations after '1250'.
[0307] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0308] As a result of the judgment of operation 1145, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), the processor (120) can perform operation 1150.
[0309] In operation 1150, the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), and the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may not be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point).
[0310] For example, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), and determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), the electronic device (400) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0311] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), it may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0312] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1730) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1730) including, "Please do not move after touching with your finger."
[0313] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) may output the guide (1730) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1730) including 'Please do not move after touching your finger.'
[0314] For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display the guide (1730) text. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1730) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0315] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 1110 to 1150 of FIG. 11.
[0316] FIG. 12 is a diagram illustrating an operating method of an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. In describing the operations of FIG. 12, detailed descriptions of operations identical (or similar) to the operations of FIG. 9A, FIG. 9B, FIG. 10, or FIG. 11 may be omitted.
[0317] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 12, in operation 1210, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched.
[0318] In operation 1220, the electronic device (400) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0319] In operation 1225, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0320] As a result of the determination of operation 1225, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (No), the processor (120) may perform operations '1330' of FIG. 13 and operations after '1330'. The processor is not limited thereto, and if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (No), the processor (120) may perform operations '1430' of FIG. 14 and operations after '1430' or operations '1530' of FIG. 15 and operations after '1530'.
[0321] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0322] As a result of the judgment of operation 1125, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed (Yes), the processor (120) can perform operation 1230.
[0323] In operation 1230, the electronic device (400) can acquire the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) where the fingerprint is sensed (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) by sensing the fingerprint of the finger (710).
[0324] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point in time, a fingerprint sensing point in time) to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0325] In operation 1235, the electronic device (400) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0326] As a result of the judgment of operation 1235, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0327] As a result of the judgment of operation 1235, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1240.
[0328] Here, in a case where the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0329] In operation 1240, for example, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the touch ends.
[0330] In operation 1245, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0331] As a result of the judgment of operation 1245, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), the processor (120) can perform operation '1150' of FIG. 11 and operations after '1150'.
[0332] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0333] As a result of the judgment of operation 1245, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1250.
[0334] In operation 1250, at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed, and at the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may not be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed.
[0335] For example, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), and determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), it can determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0336] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), and determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), it may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0337] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1740) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1740) including 'Please maintain the initial touch state.'
[0338] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) may output the guide (1740) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and fingerprint authentication can be performed normally. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1740) including 'Please maintain the initial touch state.'
[0339] For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display the guide (1740) text. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1740) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0340] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 1210 to 1250 of FIG. 12.
[0341] FIG. 13 is a diagram illustrating an operating method of an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. In describing the operations of FIG. 13, detailed descriptions of operations identical (or similar) to the operations of FIG. 9A, FIG. 9B, FIG. 10, FIG. 11, or FIG. 12 may be omitted.
[0342] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 13, in operation 1310, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched.
[0343] In operation 1320, the electronic device (400) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0344] In operation 1325, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0345] As a result of the determination of operation 1325, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), the processor (120) may perform operations '1030' of FIG. 10 and operations after '1030'. Not limited thereto, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), the processor (120) may perform operations '1130' of FIG. 11 and operations after '1130' or operations '1230' of FIG. 12 and operations after '1230'.
[0346] As a result of the judgment of operation 1325, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1330.
[0347] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0348] In operation 1330, the electronic device (400) can acquire the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) where the fingerprint is sensed (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) by sensing the fingerprint of the finger (710).
[0349] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point in time, a fingerprint sensing point in time) to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0350] In operation 1335, the electronic device (400) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0351] As a result of the determination of operation 1335, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), the processor (120) may perform operations '1540' of FIG. 15 and operations subsequent to '1540'. The present invention is not limited thereto, and if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), the processor (120) may perform operations '1640' of FIG. 16 and operations subsequent to '1640'.
[0352] As a result of the judgment of operation 1335, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1340.
[0353] Here, in a case where the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0354] In operation 1340, for example, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the touch ends.
[0355] In operation 1345, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0356] As a result of the judgment of operation 1345, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation '1450' of FIG. 14 and operations after '1450'.
[0357] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0358] As a result of the judgment of operation 1345, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), the processor (120) can perform operation 1350.
[0359] In operation 1350, the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may not be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point).
[0360] For example, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is determined to be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the electronic device (400) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0361] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the processor (120) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0362] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1750) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1750) including, "Please touch the screen at once by sliding your finger from top to bottom."
[0363] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) may output the guide (1750) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and authentication can be performed normally. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1750) including, "Please touch the screen at once by sliding your finger from top to bottom."
[0364] For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display the guide (1750) text. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1750) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0365] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 1310 to 1350 of FIG. 13.
[0366] FIG. 14 is a diagram illustrating an operating method of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In describing the operations of FIG. 14, detailed descriptions of operations that are identical (or similar) to the operations of FIG. 9A, FIG. 9B, FIG. 10, FIG. 11, FIG. 12, or FIG. 13 may be omitted.
[0367] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 14, in operation 1410, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched.
[0368] In operation 1420, the electronic device (400) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0369] In operation 1425, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0370] As a result of the determination of operation 1425, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), operations '1030' of FIG. 10 and operations after '1030' can be performed. Not limited thereto, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), operations '1130' of FIG. 11 and operations after '1130' or operations '1230' of FIG. 12 and operations after '1230' can be performed.
[0371] As a result of the judgment of operation 1425, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed (No), operation 1430 can be performed.
[0372] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0373] In operation 1430, the electronic device (400) can acquire the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) where the fingerprint is sensed (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) by sensing the fingerprint of the finger (710).
[0374] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point in time, a fingerprint sensing point in time) to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0375] In operation 1435, the electronic device (400) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0376] As a result of the determination of operation 1435, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0377] As a result of the judgment of operation 1435, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1440.
[0378] Here, in a case where the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0379] In operation 1440, for example, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the touch ends.
[0380] In operation 1445, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point). For example, the processor (120) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point).
[0381] As a result of the judgment of operation 1445, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), the processor (120) can perform operations '1350' of FIG. 13 and operations after '1350'.
[0382] As a result of the judgment of operation 1445, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1450.
[0383] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0384] In operation 1450, the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may not be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is arranged at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point).
[0385] For example, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the electronic device (400) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0386] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), the processor (120) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0387] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1760) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1760) including, "Please position the sensor icon at the center of the fingertip."
[0388] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) may output the guide (1760) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and authentication can be performed normally. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1760) including, "Please position the sensor icon at the center of the fingertip."
[0389] For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display the guide (1760) text. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1760) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0390] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 1410 to 1450 of FIG. 14.
[0391] FIG. 15 is a diagram illustrating an operating method of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In describing the operations of FIG. 15, detailed descriptions of operations that are identical (or similar) to the operations of FIG. 9A, FIG. 9B, FIG. 10, FIG. 11, FIG. 12, FIG. 13, or FIG. 14 may be omitted.
[0392] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 15, in operation 1510, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched.
[0393] In operation 1520, the electronic device (400) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0394] In operation 1525, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0395] As a result of the determination of operation 1525, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), the processor (120) may perform operations '1030' of FIG. 10 and operations after '1030'. Without being limited thereto, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), the processor (120) may perform operations '1130' of FIG. 11 and operations after '1130' or operations '1230' of FIG. 12 and operations after '1230'.
[0396] As a result of the judgment of operation 1525, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed (No), operation 1530 can be performed.
[0397] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0398] In operation 1530, the electronic device (400) can acquire the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) where the fingerprint is sensed (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) by sensing the fingerprint of the finger (710).
[0399] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point in time, a fingerprint sensing point in time) to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0400] In operation 1535, the electronic device (400) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0401] As a result of the determination of operation 1535, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), the processor (120) may perform operations '1340' of FIG. 13 and operations subsequent to '1340'. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (Yes), the processor (120) may perform operations '1440' of FIG. 14 and operations subsequent to '1440'.
[0402] As a result of the judgment of operation 1535, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1540.
[0403] Here, in a case where the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0404] In operation 1540, for example, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the touch ends.
[0405] In operation 1545, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0406] As a result of the judgment of operation 1545, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point), the processor (120) can perform operations '1650' of FIG. 16 and operations after '1650'.
[0407] As a result of the judgment of operation 1545, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1550.
[0408] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0409] In operation 1550, the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may not be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point), and the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point).
[0410] For example, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), and if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is determined to be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0411] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), and determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), the processor (120) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0412] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1770) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1770) including, "Please touch the screen at once by sliding your finger from top to bottom."
[0413] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) may output the guide (1770) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and authentication can be performed normally. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1770) including, "Please touch the screen at once by sliding your finger from top to bottom."
[0414] For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display the guide (1770) text. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1770) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0415] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 1510 to 1550 of FIG. 15.
[0416] FIG. 16 is a diagram illustrating an operating method of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In describing the operations of FIG. 16, detailed descriptions of operations that are identical (or similar) to the operations of FIG. 9A, FIG. 9B, FIG. 10, FIG. 11, FIG. 12, FIG. 13, FIG. 14, or FIG. 15 may be omitted.
[0417] Referring to FIGS. 4, 7, and 16, in operation 1610, the electronic device (400) may sense a touch of a finger (710) on the display (410) using the touch circuit (450) and determine whether the finger (710) is touched.
[0418] In operation 1620, the electronic device (400) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410). For example, the processor (120) may obtain the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) where the finger (710) touches the display (410).
[0419] In operation 1625, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0420] As a result of the determination of operation 1625, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch starting point (730) (e.g., first time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0421] As a result of the judgment of operation 1625, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first point in time) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed (No), the processor (120) can perform operation 1630.
[0422] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0423] In operation 1630, the electronic device (400) can acquire the position of the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at a touch holding point (740) (e.g., a second time point, a fingerprint acquisition time point, a fingerprint sensing time point) where the fingerprint is sensed (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) by sensing the fingerprint of the finger (710).
[0424] For example, a fingerprint sensor circuit (480) may operate at a touch holding point (740) where a fingerprint is collected (e.g., a second point in time, a fingerprint acquisition point in time, a fingerprint sensing point in time) to recognize a fingerprint of a finger (710) (e.g., acquire a fingerprint image).
[0425] In operation 1635, the electronic device (400) can determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0426] As a result of the determination of operation 1635, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (No), the processor (120) may perform operations '1340' of FIG. 13 and operations subsequent to '1340'. The present invention is not limited thereto, and if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed (No), the processor (120) may perform operations '1440' of FIG. 14 and operations subsequent to '1440'.
[0427] Here, in a case where the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0428] As a result of the judgment of operation 1635, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch holding point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point) (Yes), the processor (120) can perform operation 1640.
[0429] In operation 1640, for example, the finger (710) may be lifted off the screen of the display (410) at the touch release point (750) (e.g., the third point in time, the touch end point) where the touch ends.
[0430] In operation 1645, the electronic device (400) may determine whether the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG.
[0431] As a result of the judgment of operation 1645, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point) (No), the processor (120) can perform operations '1550' of FIG. 15 and operations after '1550'.
[0432] Here, when the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8).
[0433] As a result of the judgment of operation 1645, if the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is placed at the touch release point (750) (e.g., third point, touch end point) (Yes), operation 1650 can be performed.
[0434] In operation 1650, the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may not be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), and the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) may be located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time point).
[0435] For example, if the electronic device (400) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), and the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), the electronic device (400) may determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0436] For example, if the processor (120) determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is not located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch start point (730) (e.g., first time point), and determines that the center point (e.g., touch center point) of the finger (710) is located in the sensor area (e.g., sensor area (830) of FIG. 8) where the fingerprint sensor (481) is disposed at the touch hold point (740) (e.g., second time point, fingerprint acquisition time point, fingerprint sensing time point), and the touch release point (750) (e.g., third time point, touch end time), it can determine that the position of the finger (710) has moved during fingerprint sensing of the finger (710).
[0437] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1780) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and authentication can be performed normally. For example, the electronic device (400) may output the guide (1780) including, "Please make sure your finger touches the sensor icon at once."
[0438] According to one embodiment, the processor (120) may output the guide (1780) of FIG. 17 so that fingerprint recognition and authentication can be performed normally. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1780) including, "Please make sure your finger touches the sensor icon at once."
[0439] For example, the processor (120) may cause the display (410) to display the guide (1780) text. For example, the processor (120) may output the guide (1780) as sound using an audio output device (e.g., an audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0440] According to one embodiment, the memory (130) may include (e.g., store) instructions for performing operations 1610 through 1650 of FIG. 16.
[0441] FIG. 18 is a drawing (1800) showing a user interface (e.g., graphical user interface) that displays a touch location according to fingerprint sensor operation.
[0442] Referring to FIG. 18, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (400) of FIG. 4) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure can guide a user when fingerprint collection (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition) of a finger is completed by a fingerprint sensor (e.g., fingerprint sensor (481) of FIG. 4).
[0443] Even if a finger touches the screen of a display (e.g., the display (410) of FIG. 4) once, the touch location may change slightly. In fingerprint recognition, even if the fingertip touches the screen starting from the center of the fingerprint, the center point of the entire touched area (e.g., the touch center point) may move several millimeters while pressing down to the fingertip. The electronic device (400) can guide the user on how much the finger moved during fingerprint recognition.
[0444] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may display the touched location in the actual fingerprint collection area when a finger is lifted from the screen of the display (410). In addition, a guide indicating an incorrect touched location may be displayed.
[0445] For example, the electronic device (400) may display a fingerprint icon and guide the user to press a finger within a circle displaying the fingerprint icon. Furthermore, when the circle is fully highlighted, the device may display a guide (1810) to leave it as is and then touch the finger again.
[0446] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) can display a moved touch section while touching the screen of the display (410) with a finger and display a section used for actual fingerprint collection.
[0447] For example, a guide (1820) may be displayed to ensure that the finger is touching the exact inside of the circle of the fingerprint icon. Additionally, a guide (1830) may be displayed to indicate the path along which the center point of the finger (e.g., the center point of touch) moves due to the movement of the finger in the fingerprint collection section.
[0448] FIG. 19 is a drawing (1900) showing a user interface (e.g., a graphical user interface) displayed at the time of completion of fingerprint sensing (e.g., fingerprint image acquisition).
[0449] Referring to FIG. 19, the user cannot know when the fingerprint sensor (841) has completed fingerprint collection and then proceeds with fingerprint image processing to provide final guidance. Consequently, the user may raise or move their hand until the fingerprint collection progress increases or a guidance message appears, and may assume that the location of the finger at the time the actual guidance message appears is the location where the fingerprint has been collected. Therefore, if the fingerprint sensor (841) explicitly provides guidance on when fingerprint collection is complete, convenience in fingerprint collection, fingerprint registration, and fingerprint authentication operations can be provided.
[0450] According to one embodiment, the point at which fingerprint collection starts from a fingerprint sensor (e.g., fingerprint sensor (481) of FIG. 4) and the point at which fingerprint collection ends may be displayed through a user interface (e.g., a graphical user interface).
[0451] For example, the electronic device (400) may add graphic elements that indicate the area around the fingerprint sensor (841) with different colors and / or different circle thicknesses. Additionally, the electronic device (400) may additionally display guides indicating that fingerprint collection, fingerprint registration, and fingerprint authentication are in progress.
[0452] FIG. 20 is a drawing (2000) showing a user interface (e.g., graphical user interface) displayed during fingerprint registration or fingerprint authentication.
[0453] Referring to FIG. 20, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (400) of FIG. 4) may display guides (2010, 2020) to increase the success rate during fingerprint collection, fingerprint registration, and fingerprint authentication.
[0454] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may display a guide (2010) to guide the user when the movement interval of the center point of the touch is long and this pattern is repeated during fingerprint collection, fingerprint registration, and fingerprint authentication. For example, the electronic device (400) may display the guide (2010) in a pop-up form on the screen through a display (e.g., the display (410) of FIG. 4). The electronic device (400) may also output the guide (2010) as an audio signal using an audio output device (e.g., the audio output module (155) of FIG. 1).
[0455] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (400) may display a guide (2020) to guide the user when a pattern of movement of the center point of the finger (e.g., the center point of the touch) appears during fingerprint collection, fingerprint registration, and fingerprint authentication.
