Abstract
Description
[0001] Container for powdered cosmetic products.
[0002] DESCRIPTION
[0003] Container for powdered cosmetic products of the type comprising a body with an inlet opening containing the cosmetic product, a lid closing the top of the body, and a disc acting as a seal located inside the lid, which ensures the tightness of the container, and because it comprises an accessory: arranged between the inlet opening and the disc; which fits into the inlet opening; and comprising a cavity with its base on its face facing the lid, with at least one hole for the passage of the cosmetic product, the hole being raised with respect to the base of the cavity and separated a predetermined distance from the disc.
[0004] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0005] Various devices or apparatuses are known in the state of the art that supply or can supply powdered cosmetic products.
[0006] There have already been Utility Models in Spain since the 1940s that refer to this type of device, such as U0019769, from 1949, “Closure with dispersing holes for containers of powdered materials”, in the name of Productos Gota de Ámbar, SA, which refers to a closure with dispensing holes for containers of powdered materials, characterized by the fact that it essentially consists of two discs provided with perforations equally distributed on one and the other at the same distance from their center, such that such perforations can coincide exactly with each other when one disc is properly positioned with respect to the other, there being between every two consecutive perforations, on each disc, a separation of greater width than such perforations, and on one of the discs, in the center of all, or some of such perforations, some small bulges formed, preferably, by dents in the disc plate itself, that are capable of penetrating the perforations of the other disc when these are blocked, such penetration being forced and ensured by the action of a spring housed in a bushing or sheath fixed to one of the discs by a rod that passes through the other, serving as an axis of rotation that can be produced from the outside by means of an appendage of this disc that passes through the other through a curved slit that it can travel,
[0007] Thus, Utility Model No. 200201218 (ES1052046) “DISPENSER FOR STRIPED, POWDER OR GRANULAR PRODUCTS”, from 2002, in the name of Mr. also belongs to the state of the art.José PEREIRA FERNÁNDEZ, which refers to a dispenser of striped, powdered or granular products of the type formed by a container containing the product that is closed by a lid provided with dispensing means; characterized in that the dispensing means comprise: a valve mounted with the possibility of axial movement, between an open position and a closed position, in an opening in the lid, a gap being defined between both to allow, in the open position of the valve, the passage of the product to be dispensed; the aforementioned valve having a cylindrical configuration with an annular recess in an area close to one end, and with a thickening at the other end, to act as a stop in the opening and also to close it; and a closing spring having one end resting on an inner projection of the lid and the other inserted into the annular recess, tending to keep the valve in the closed position.
[0008] Finally, the European Patent No. EP0629284 (ES2098025T3) “DOSING DEVICE FOR
[0009] POWDER PRODUCTS”, dated 1993, on behalf of TAPLAST, SpA, which refers to a measuring / dispensing device for grain or powder products, comprising a tubular body, applicable to the neck of a container of the product and closed by means of a cap, which has at least one lid. Said tubular body has inside at least one diaphragm that divides its internal volume, thus defining a measuring chamber that communicates with the interior of said container and a collection chamber, which communicates with said measuring chamber, both chambers limit in their upper part with said cap, and said collection chamber has in its upper part, in correspondence with the cap, a dispensing conduit to pour the product.
[0010] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0011] The present invention falls within the sector of dosing containers for powdered products.
[0012] The closest document is European Patent No. EP0629284 (ES2098025T3).
[0013] This patent solves the problem of how to dose the powder product.
[0014] Thus, it solves this problem by creating an inner chamber, separated by a diaphragm, which is filled with the exact amount of product to be dispensed, and then this product is dispensed through a cap.
[0015] On the other hand, it has the disadvantage that it is expensive to produce and mechanically complex.
[0016] The present invention solves the problem by means of a container with few elements, which with a simple movement of the hand shaking the powder product inside the body comes out through the hole and when colliding with the disc, the powder cosmetic product is distributed throughout the cavity, ready to be used with the predetermined dose once the lid of said container is opened. An object of the present invention is a container for powdered cosmetic products of the type comprising a body, with an inlet mouth, which contains the cosmetic product, a lid that closes the upper part of the body and a disc as a seal that is located inside the lid, which guarantees the tightness of the container, characterized in that it comprises an accessory: arranged between the inlet mouth and the disc; which fits into the inlet mouth; and which comprises a cavity with its base on its face facing the lid, with at least one hole for the passage of the cosmetic product, the hole being raised with respect to the base of the cavity and separated a predetermined distance from the disc.
[0017] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0018] In order to facilitate the explanation, five sheets of drawings are attached to this report in which a practical case of implementation has been represented, which is cited as an example, not limiting the scope of the present invention:
[0019] - Figure 1 is a general view of the container object of the present invention,
[0020] - Figure 2 is a section along the line ll-ll of Figure 1,
[0021] - Figure 3 is a perspective view of the container without the lid or disc,
[0022] - Figure 4 is a bottom perspective view of the accessory, and
[0023] - Figure 5 is an example of the use of the container object of the present invention.
[0024] SPECIFIC EMBODIMENT OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
[0025] Thus, in figure 1 a body 1 and a cover 2 are illustrated. In figure 2 the body 1 is represented with an inlet 5, the cover 2, a disc 3, and an accessory 4 with a cavity 6 and its base 9, an orifice 7 and an elevation 13.
[0026] Figure 3 shows the body 1, the accessory 4, the cavity 6, the hole 7, the base 9, some outer edges 10 and the elevation 13.
[0027] Figure 4 shows an example of accessory 4, cavity 6, hole 7, base 9 and elevation 13.
[0028] Finally, Figure 5 shows the body 1, the accessory 4, the cavity 6, the hole 7, a powder cosmetic product 11 and a hand 12.
[0029] Thus, the container of the present invention is formed by a body 1, with an inlet mouth 5. Inside the body 1, the cosmetic product 11 that will be dispensed later is stored.
[0030] It also comprises a cover 2 that closes the top of the body 1, in this embodiment by means of a thread, but it could be other fixing means such as clipping, pressure, etc.,
[0031] It also includes a disc 3 as a seal that is located inside the cover 2.
[0032] The characteristic element is an accessory 4 which is arranged between the inlet mouth 5 and the disc 3.
[0033] In addition, the accessory 4 fits into the inlet mouth 5.
[0034] It also comprises a cavity 6 with its base 9, on its face facing the lid 2, that is, it will be visible when the lid 2 is opened, where the dose of cosmetic product will be housed, with at least one hole 7 for the passage of the cosmetic product 11 from the inside of the body 1 to the accessory 4. The hole 7 is raised with respect to the base of the cavity 6, this is to allow the cosmetic product 11 to be retained in the cavity 6 and not return to the inside of the body 1 through the hole 7.
[0035] The hole 7 is also separated by a predetermined distance from the disc 3. This separation depends on the size of the cosmetic product 11, thus allowing the dispersion of the cosmetic product 11 into the cavity 6 when the cosmetic product 11 impacts the disc 3 upon exiting through the hole 7.
[0036] The disc 3, which is located inside the lid 2, creates a seal inside the container since when the lid 2 is closed on the body 1, the disc 3 presses the perimeter area of the accessory 4 and prevents the cosmetic product 11 from escaping to the outside, guaranteeing the seal of the container.
[0037] In this embodiment, orifice 7 is optionally located as a central orifice, as this is the most optimal location. However, with other types of bodies 1, another location for orifice 7 might be more optimal.
[0038] The possibility of the cavity 6 having rounded outer edges 10 has also been considered. This is done so because the rounded outer edges 10 facilitate pouring the powdered cosmetic product 11 without it being trapped on any edges. It also allows for the optional use of cosmetic implements such as a brush, and is more convenient to use if the edges are not sharp. In this embodiment, the cavity 6 has been chosen to be teardrop-shaped, since this facilitates pouring the cosmetic product 11, as can be seen in Figure 5.
[0039] Also, to facilitate the pouring of the cosmetic product 11, it has been arranged that, optionally, the cavity 6 ends in the perimeter area of the accessory 4, since it facilitates the pouring.
[0040] It would be possible for the accessory 4 to be removable, in this way it could be changed with another shape of the cavity 6 or even with a hole 7 of a different size that allows the passage of another cosmetic product 11 with different characteristics.
[0041] In a specific embodiment, the person would take the closed container with the lid 2 on the body 1, with the hand 12, and shake it up and down several times.
[0042] The cosmetic product 11 in powder form, with agitation, would move upwards and a part of it would pass through the accessory 4 through the hole 7. It would then hit the disc 3 that stops it and upon bouncing off, the majority of it would be lodged in the cavity 6.
[0043] The person would then open the lid 2, where the cosmetic product 11 is dispensed into the cavity 6 and pour the contents as shown in Figure 5.
[0044] The present invention describes a novel container for powdered cosmetic products. The examples mentioned herein are not limiting of the present invention; therefore, it may have various applications and / or adaptations, all within the scope of the following claims.
