Abstract
Description
Base station device, user terminal device, control method, program, and communication system
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a base station device, a user terminal device, a control method, a program, and a communication system.
[0002] V2X (Vehicle to Everything) is a vehicle communication technology that enables network connections and mutual cooperation between vehicles, vehicles and roadside devices, and vehicles and pedestrians. V2X is expected to be used to support safe driving by warning drivers of hidden dangers that cannot be detected by conventional in-vehicle devices such as cameras and LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging).
[0003] In V2X, a transmitter can communicate directly with a receiver via a sidelink. Unlike the Uu link (air interface between a network device and a user device) of a cellular network, sidelink communication is performed via a newly defined PC5 interface (air interface between V2X devices) for V2X. The frequency band used for this communication is defined as Band 47 (5855 MHz to 5925 MHz) in the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) (registered trademark) specifications.
[0004] Since V2X is expected to be used for safety-related applications, high reliability is required in wireless communication, and a method for reducing wireless resource collisions induced by wireless communication performed by other communication terminals is required. Patent Document 1 discloses the following technology. A terminal performing sidelink communication estimates or predicts PSSCH interference based on a PSCCH received from another terminal performing sidelink communication. PSCCH is an abbreviation for Physical Sidelink Control Channel, and PSSCH is an abbreviation for Physical Sidelink Share Channel. Then, the PSSCH is processed based on the estimated interference.
[0005] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2019-050559
[0006] The wireless communication method described in Patent Document 1 involves multiple terminals performing sidelink communication receiving a PSCCH, and scheduling the radio resources of the PSCCH based on the reception results so as to reduce interference with other PSCCHs.
[0007] However, the wireless communication method described in Patent Document 1 cannot reduce the conflict of wireless resources with base station devices and terminal devices that perform wireless communication other than V2X. One example of wireless communication other than V2X is NR-U (NR Unlicensed Spectrum). NR-U is a technology that operates a communication system based on the 3GPP specifications in an unlicensed band that does not require a license from the authorities of each country. In NR-U, the frequency bands used for communication are the 5 GHz band and the 6 GHz band. The 3GPP specifications define the 5 GHz band as Band 46 (5150 MHz to 5925 MHz) and the 6 GHz band as Band 102 (5925 MHz to 6425 MHz) and Band 104 (6425 MHz to 7125 MHz). Of these frequency bands, the 5 GHz band in particular overlaps with the frequency band used for V2X sidelink communications, raising concerns about wireless resource conflicts. Furthermore, in order to coexist with other communication systems, the NR-U performs carrier sensing before transmission to ensure that no other wireless devices are using the same frequency. However, because the NR-U does not have a means for identifying the wireless resources used by the V2X terminal device, wireless resource conflicts may occur depending on the timing of carrier sensing.
[0008] The present invention has been made in consideration of at least one of the above-described problems, and one aspect of the present invention provides a mechanism for reducing a conflict of radio resources that may occur between V2X sidelink communication and wireless communication other than V2X.
[0009] A base station device according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: communication means for performing wireless communication other than V2X (Vehicle to Everything) communication with a first user terminal device; first determination means for determining whether or not a collision occurs between a first wireless resource used in the wireless communication of the communication means and a second wireless resource used in V2X communication performed by a second user terminal device different from the first user terminal device; and control means for controlling the wireless communication of the communication means based on a determination result by the first determination means.
[0010] According to one aspect of the present invention, it is possible to provide a mechanism for reducing the conflict of radio resources that may occur between sidelink communication in V2X and wireless communication other than V2X.

[0012] Each embodiment will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0013] First Embodiment FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of the functional configuration of a base station device 100 according to this embodiment.
[0014] The base station device 100 includes a control unit 101 , a storage unit 102 , a radio receiving unit 103 , and a radio transmitting unit 104 .
[0015] The control unit 101 controls the entire base station device 100 by executing a control program stored in the storage unit 102. The control unit 101 is configured with one or more processors, such as a CPU or MPU, and controls the entire device by executing a control program read into the RAM, which is the storage unit 102. Note that each process performed by the control unit 101, which will be described in the flowcharts below, can also be realized using a hardware circuit, such as an ASIC or FPGA. Note that ASIC is an abbreviation for Application Specific Integrated Circuit. FPGA is an abbreviation for Field Programmable Gate Array. Furthermore, the processes described in the flowcharts below can also be realized by cooperation between a hardware circuit and a processor, such as a CPU or MPU.
[0016] The storage unit 102 stores a control program executed by the control unit 101 and various information such as communication parameters. The various operations described below are performed by the control unit 101 executing the control program stored in the storage unit 102. The storage unit 102 may include a main storage unit and an auxiliary storage unit. The main storage unit is, for example, a read-only memory (ROM) or a random access memory (RAM). The main storage unit may store or temporarily store programs and data such as an operating system (OS), which is basic software executed by the control unit 101, and application software. The auxiliary storage unit is, for example, a hard disk drive (HDD) or a solid state drive (SSD), and may store data related to application software, etc. For example, the control program stored in the non-volatile storage area is expanded into RAM (Random Access Memory) and executed by a processor constituting the control unit 101. In this way, the control unit 101 and the storage unit 102 may function as a so-called computer.
[0017] The wireless receiving unit 103 receives a signal conforming to the 3GPP standard. Note that although the description here is directed to 5G, the present invention is also applicable to standards other than 5G (for example, 5G Advanced, 6G, etc.).
[0018] The radio transmission unit 104 transmits a signal conforming to the 3GPP standard.
[0019] FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of software functional blocks of the base station device 100.
[0020] The software function block 201 of the base station device 100 includes a signal transmission unit 202, a signal reception unit 203, a data storage unit 204, a communication resource scheduling unit 205, and a V2X terminal device radio resource specification unit 206. The software function block 201 also includes a V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207, a radio resource collision determination unit 208, and a radio resource usage status acquisition unit 209. The software function block 201 also includes a collision avoidance processing unit 210.
[0021] Here, a radio resource refers to a predetermined region represented in the frequency domain and the time domain. For example, in 5G, the frequency domain and the time domain are represented by subcarriers and symbols. A symbol is also called an OFDM symbol. An area represented by one subcarrier and one symbol is called a resource element. Furthermore, 12 consecutive subcarriers in the frequency domain are called a resource block. Furthermore, 14 consecutive symbols in the time domain are called a slot.
[0022] A collision of wireless resources refers to a situation in which some or all of the wireless resources used for communication by two different devices overlap. For example, in this embodiment, a collision of wireless resources is expressed as a situation in which some or all of the wireless resources used by the base station device 100 for communication overlap with some or all of the wireless resources used by a V2X terminal device.
[0023] The signal transmitting unit 202 transmits signals conforming to the 3GPP standard.
[0024] The signal receiving unit 203 receives signals conforming to the 3GPP standard.
[0025] The data storage unit 204 stores and holds the software itself and information such as authentication information.
[0026] The communication resource scheduling unit 205 performs resource scheduling for wireless communication different from V2X communication.
[0027] The V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 206 specifies radio resources to be used for communication by the V2X terminal device 700, which will be described later. In this embodiment, the V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 206 specifies radio resources to be used for communication by the V2X terminal device 700, based on the SCI received by the signal receiving unit 203 via the PSCCH. SCI is an abbreviation for Sidelink Control Information, and represents sidelink control information.
[0028] The method for identifying radio resources will be described in further detail below.
[0029] The V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207 acquires the priority of data that is scheduled to be transmitted by a V2X terminal device 700, which will be described later. In this embodiment, the V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207 acquires the priority based on the SCI received by the signal receiving unit 203 via the PSCCH. Further details of the priority acquisition method will be described later.
[0030] The radio resource collision determination unit 208 determines whether the radio resource used in communication of the local station conflicts with the radio resource identified by the V2X terminal device radio resource identification unit 206.
[0031] The radio resource usage status acquisition unit 209 acquires the radio resource usage status of the sidelink communication frequency band.
[0032] The collision avoidance processing unit 210 controls communication between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200 based on the determination result by the radio resource collision determination unit 208. Specifically, when it is determined that a collision of radio resources will occur, the collision avoidance processing unit 210 restricts or prohibits radio communication between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200 so as to avoid the collision. For example, the collision avoidance processing unit 210 may control the radio resources used by the V2X terminal device 700 for communication not to be used in the radio communication between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200, or may stop (prohibit) the radio communication itself between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200. Details of the collision avoidance processing performed by the collision avoidance processing unit 210 will be described later.
[0033] FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of the functional configuration of the terminal device 200 according to this embodiment.
[0034] The terminal device 200 includes a control unit 301 , a storage unit 302 , a wireless receiving unit 303 , a wireless transmitting unit 304 , an output unit 305 , and an input unit 306 .
[0035] The control unit 301 controls the entire terminal device 200 by executing a control program stored in the storage unit 302. The control unit 301 is configured with one or more processors such as a CPU or MPU, and controls the entire device by executing a control program read into the RAM that is the storage unit 302. Note that each process performed by the control unit 301, which will be described in the flowcharts below, can also be realized using a hardware circuit such as an ASIC or FPGA. Furthermore, the processes described in the flowcharts below can also be realized by having the hardware circuit cooperate with a processor such as a CPU or MPU.
[0036] The memory unit 302 stores a control program executed by the control unit 301 and various information such as communication parameters. The various operations described below are performed by the control unit 301 executing the control program stored in the memory unit 302. The memory unit 302 may include a main memory unit and an auxiliary memory unit. The main memory unit is, for example, a ROM or a RAM. The main memory unit may store or temporarily store programs and data such as an OS, which is basic software executed by the control unit 101, and application software. The auxiliary memory unit is, for example, an HDD or SSD, and may store data related to application software, etc. For example, a control program stored in a non-volatile memory area is expanded into RAM and executed by a processor constituting the control unit 301. In this way, the control unit 301 and the memory unit 302 may function as a so-called computer.
[0037] The radio receiving unit 303 receives signals conforming to the 3GPP standard.
[0038] The radio transmission unit 304 transmits a signal conforming to the 3GPP standard.
[0039] The output unit 305 is an output unit that performs various outputs. The output unit 305 may be capable of outputting visually perceptible information such as an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) or an LED (Light Emitting Diode), or may be capable of outputting sound such as a speaker. The output unit 305 may have a function of outputting at least one of visual information and sound information.
[0040] The input unit 306 allows the user to input various information, etc. The input unit 306 also acquires sensor information.
[0041] FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of software function blocks of the terminal device 200. As shown in FIG.
[0042] The software function block 401 of the terminal device 200 includes a signal transmitting unit 402 , a signal receiving unit 403 , a data storage unit 404 , and an input / output control unit 405 .
[0043] The signal transmitting unit 402 transmits signals conforming to the 3GPP standard.
[0044] The signal receiving unit 403 receives signals conforming to the 3GPP standard.
[0045] The data storage unit 404 stores and holds the software itself and information such as authentication information.
[0046] The input / output control unit 405 controls the output unit 305 and the input unit 306 in FIG.
[0047] FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of a wireless communication system according to this embodiment. As shown in FIG. 5, the wireless communication system according to this embodiment includes a base station device 100, a terminal device 200, and a V2X terminal device 700. Wireless communication between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200 becomes a source of interference that may induce a collision of wireless resources with respect to wireless communication between the V2X terminal device 700a and the V2X terminal device 700b. Note that wireless communication between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200 is performed via an uplink (UL) or a downlink (DL). Furthermore, wireless communication between the V2X terminal device 700a and the V2X terminal device 700b is performed via a sidelink (SL).
[0048] In reality, there may be a large number of base station devices, terminal devices, and V2X terminal devices, but Figure 5 shows only the number necessary for explanation.
[0049] In this embodiment, a case will be described in which 5G communication technology is used as a wireless communication method between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200 and between the V2X terminal device 700a and the V2X terminal device 700b. The 5G communication technology is, for example, a communication technology called 5G-NR (New Radio) whose specifications are formulated by 3GPP. Here, the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200 communicate wirelessly using NR-U (NR Unlicensed Spectrum), which is a function for performing 5G-NR communication in an unlicensed band. Furthermore, in the vicinity of the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200, the V2X terminal device 700a and the V2X terminal device 700b communicate wirelessly using a sidelink method.
[0050] In this embodiment, the unlicensed 5.9 GHz band is used as the operating frequency band for wireless communication via uplink UL or downlink DL between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200. The unlicensed 5.9 GHz band is also used for wireless communication via sidelink SL between the V2X terminal device 700a and the V2X terminal device 700b.
[0051] Regarding the operational frequency band used in communication between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200, either the uplink UL or the downlink DL may be a licensed band.
[0052] In this frequency band, the communication between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200 and the communication between the V2X terminal device 700a and the V2X terminal device 700b are independent communications, and therefore a collision of radio resources may be induced.
[0053] For example, a collision of radio resources may be induced, as shown by the UL' indicated by the dotted line and the SL indicated by the solid line in Fig. 5. That is, the radio resources used by the V2X terminal device 700a when transmitting a radio signal to the V2X terminal device 700b via the side link SL may collide with the radio resources used by the terminal device 200 when transmitting a radio signal to the base station device 100 via the uplink UL.
[0054] Hereinafter, a configuration will be described in which the base station device 100 identifies radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 in communication, and determines whether the identified radio resources conflict with radio resources used by the base station 100. If it is determined that the radio resources conflict, the base station device 100 controls the identified radio resources so that they are not used in communication between the base station 100 and the terminal device 200.
[0055] In 5G communication technology, communication devices that perform wireless communication using the sidelink scheme transmit and receive scheduling information (SCI) using a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) or a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH).
[0056] The V2X terminal device 700a can reserve communication resources that are scheduled to be used in the future by transmitting SCI to the V2X terminal device 700b using the PSCCH or PSSCH. The PSCCH is a channel that is mainly used for transmitting and receiving control information for performing wireless communication using the sidelink method. The PSSCH is a channel that is mainly used for transmitting and receiving data to be transmitted. When the PSSCH is used to transmit SCI, the SCI is transmitted attached to the data to be transmitted.
[0057] In this specification, transmitting and receiving a signal via a PSCCH or a PSSCH is expressed as "transmitting / receiving a PSCCH or a PSSCH."
[0058] In this embodiment, the V2X terminal device 700a transmits SCI to the V2X terminal device 700b using the PSCCH. The base station device 100 and / or the terminal device 200 are assumed to be able to receive the SCI transmitted by the V2X terminal device 700a via the PSCCH. FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of SCI on the PSCCH according to one embodiment. Specifically, FIG. 6 illustrates 'SCI format 1-A' used in the first and second modes of V2X communication. Referring to FIG. 6, the SCI in the PSCCH includes first to twelfth fields (F01 to F12) as control information for V2X communication.
[0059] The first field F01 is 'Priority', which indicates the priority of data scheduled to be transmitted via the PSSCH. 'Priority' is a 3-bit value, where "000" is "1", followed by "001" which is "2", and so on up to "111", representing values from 1 to 8, with smaller values indicating higher priority.
[0060] In V2X communication, periodic message type CAM, event-triggered message type DENM, etc. are transmitted via PSSCH. CAM is an abbreviation for Cooperative Awareness Message, and DENM is an abbreviation for Decentralized Environmental Notification Message. CAM includes basic vehicle information such as vehicle dynamic status information such as direction and speed, vehicle static data such as dimensions, external lighting status, and route details. DENM is a message generated in the event of an emergency such as a vehicle breakdown or accident. DENM has a higher priority than CAM.
[0061] Having a high priority means that when simultaneous transmissions occur, the message with the highest priority is transmitted first, or that among multiple messages, the message with the highest priority is transmitted first in terms of time.
[0062] The second field F02 is a 'Frequency resource assignment' and indicates information about frequency resource assignment for the PSSCH.
[0063] The third field F03 is 'Time resource assignment' and represents information about time resource assignment for the PSSCH.
[0064] The fourth field F04 is a 'Resource reservation period' and indicates the period for transmitting the PSSCH.
[0065] The fifth field F05 is 'DMRS pattern' and indicates the pattern of a demodulation reference signal for the PSSCH.
[0066] The sixth field F06 is '2nd-stage SCI format' and indicates the format of the 2nd-stage SCI transmitted via the PSSCH.
[0067] The seventh field F07 is a 'Beta_offset indicator', which indicates the amount of resources required for transmission.
[0068] The eighth field F08 is 'Number of DMRS port' and indicates the number of the antenna port used for transmitting DMRS.
[0069] The ninth field F09 is 'Modulation and coding scheme' and indicates the modulation and coding applied to the PSSCH.
[0070] The tenth field F10 is an 'Additional MCS table indicator' and indicates an additional table for modulation and coding applied to the PSSCH.
[0071] The eleventh field F11 is a 'PSFCH overhead indication' and represents information for determining the TBS (transport block size) of the PSSCH.
[0072] The twelfth field F12 is 'Reserved', which indicates reservation.
[0073] As described above, in this embodiment, the V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207 can acquire the priority based on the first field F01 of the first to twelfth fields (F01 to F12) of the SCI received on the PSCCH. Furthermore, the second to fourth fields (F02 to F04) of the first to twelfth fields (F01 to F12) of the SCI described above define the PSSCH resource configuration. These second to fourth fields (F02 to F04) constitute resource reservation information. Therefore, in this embodiment, the V2X terminal device radio resource identification unit 206 can identify radio resources based on the resource reservation information included in the SCI received on the PSCCH. That is, the V2X terminal device radio resource identification unit 206 can identify PSSCH radio resources used in communication between the V2X terminal device 700a and the V2X terminal device 700b.
[0074] 7 is a flowchart for reducing a conflict of radio resources that occurs between V2X sidelink communication and wireless communication other than V2X, which is implemented in the base station device 100 of this embodiment. This flowchart may be started by the control unit 101 before the base station device 100 starts communication with the terminal device 200. Alternatively, the control unit 101 may be started when the terminal device 200 connects to the base station device 100.
[0075] Furthermore, this flowchart is performed by the control unit 101 reading and executing a computer program stored in the memory unit 102, and after the operation of the flowchart begins, it is executed continuously while the base station device 100 is operating.
[0076] After starting the process of FIG. 7, the base station apparatus 100 performs an operation of receiving SCI via the PSCCH (S100).
[0077] In S101 following S100, the base station apparatus 100 acquires resource reservation information and priority information of the PSSCH based on the SCI received in S100.
[0078] The base station device 100 identifies the radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 based on the acquired resource reservation information.
[0079] In S102, the base station device 100 determines whether the radio resources to be used in communication with the terminal device 200 conflict with the radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 identified in S101.
[0080] If S102 is No, the processing is terminated, and if S102 is Yes, in S103, the base station device 100 determines whether or not to change the radio resources to be used in communication with the terminal device 200. This determination may be based on the priority information acquired in S101. For example, if the acquired priority value is "1" and the threshold value serving as the criterion for determining whether the priority is high or low is "3", the determination in S103 will be No.
[0081] If S103 is No, the base station device 100 suspends communication with the terminal device 200 (S106), and if S103 is Yes, the base station device 100 determines whether or not there are available radio resources in S104. That is, in S104 following S103, the base station device 100 determines whether or not there are available free radio resources based on the resource reservation information acquired in S101.
[0082] If S104 is No, communication with the terminal device 200 is suspended (S106), and if S104 is Yes, the radio resource to be used is changed to an available free radio resource other than the radio resource used by the V2X terminal device 700.
[0083] As a result, it is possible to reduce the conflict of wireless resources that occurs between sidelink communication in V2X and wireless communication other than V2X.
[0084] In this embodiment, as described above, the above effect is achieved by receiving SCI through the PSCCH. Alternatively, the same function may be achieved by using a portion other than the SCI in the PSCCH (Physical Sidelink Control Channel) that includes the SCI.
[0085] Second Embodiment In a second embodiment, the functional configuration of a base station device, the functional configuration of a terminal device, and the configuration of a wireless communication system may be the same as those in the first embodiment and shown in FIGS.
[0086] In a first embodiment, the base station device 100 identifies radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 in communication and determines whether the identified radio resources collide with radio resources used by its own station. If it is determined that the radio resources collide, the base station device 100 controls the identified radio resources so as not to use them in communication between its own station and the terminal device 200. In the following, as a second embodiment, the terminal device 200 acquires resource reservation information and priority information for the radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 in communication. Then, the terminal device 200 notifies the base station device 100 of the acquired resource reservation information and priority information. Upon receiving this notification, the base station device 100 identifies radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 in communication, and then determines whether the identified radio resources collide. If it is determined that the radio resources collide, the base station device 100 controls the identified radio resources so as not to use them in communication between its own station and the terminal device 200.
[0087] FIG. 8A is a software functional block diagram of a base station device according to the second embodiment.
[0088] The software function block diagram shown in Figure 8A differs from the diagram (see Figure 2) according to the first embodiment described above in that the V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 206 is replaced with a V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 206A. Also, the V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207 is replaced with a V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207A.
[0089] The V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 206A specifies radio resources to be used in communication by the V2X terminal device 700. In this embodiment, the V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 206A specifies radio resources to be used in communication by the V2X terminal device 700, based on notification information from the terminal device 200 received by the signal receiving unit 203. Further details of the method of specifying radio resources will be described later.
[0090] The V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207A acquires the priority of data that the V2X terminal device 700 plans to transmit. In this embodiment, the V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207A acquires the priority based on notification information from the terminal device 200 received by the signal receiving unit 203. Further details of the priority acquisition method will be described later.
[0091] Fig. 8B is a block diagram showing a software function block 401A of a terminal device according to the second embodiment. The block diagram shown in Fig. 8B differs from the same diagram (see Fig. 4) according to the first embodiment described above in that it includes a V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 406 and a V2X terminal device communication priority obtaining unit 407. The terminal device according to the second embodiment also differs from the first embodiment described above in that it includes a notification information generating unit 408.
[0092] The V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 406 specifies radio resources based on the SCI received by the signal receiving unit 403. The method of specifying radio resources may be the same as the method described above with reference to Fig. 7. That is, the V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 406 specifies radio resources based on resource reservation information included in the SCI received on the PSCCH.
[0093] The V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 407 acquires the priority based on the first field F01 of the first to twelfth fields (F01 to F12) of the SCI received on the PSCCH.
[0094] The notification information generation unit 408 generates notification information for the V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 206A and the V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207A of the base station device 100 to function. That is, the notification information includes information that enables the V2X terminal device radio resource specifying unit 206A to specify the radio resources that the V2X terminal device 700 uses for communication. The notification information also includes information that enables the V2X terminal device communication priority acquisition unit 207A to acquire the priority of data that the V2X terminal device 700 plans to transmit. The notification information may include the SCI itself, or may include information derived based on the SCI (for example, information that directly indicates the radio resources and / or the priority).
[0095] 9A is a diagram showing a flowchart of processing performed by the terminal device 200 of this embodiment to acquire resource reservation information of radio resources used in communication by the V2X terminal device 700 and priority information, and notify the base station device 100 of the acquired information. This flowchart may be started by the control unit 301 before starting communication with the base station device 100. Alternatively, it may be started by the control unit 301 when the terminal device 200 connects to the base station device 100.
[0096] This flowchart is executed by the control unit 301 reading and executing a computer program stored in the memory unit 302, and once the flowchart starts operating, it is executed continuously while the terminal device 200 is operating.
[0097] After the process of FIG. 9A starts, the terminal device 200 performs an operation of receiving SCI on the PSCCH (S200).
[0098] In S201 following S200, resource reservation information and priority information of the PSSCH are acquired based on the SCI received in S200.
[0099] In S202, the terminal device 200 determines whether it is time to notify the base station device 100 of the resource reservation information of the radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 and the priority information acquired in S201. This determination may be based on the PSSCH resource reservation information acquired in S201. For example, the terminal device 200 identifies the radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 for communication, based on the PSSCH resource reservation information acquired in S201. Then, if there is a conflict between the identified radio resources and the radio resources to be used in the notification to the base station device 100, the determination in S202 is No. Furthermore, this determination may be based on the priority information acquired in S201. For example, if the acquired priority value is "1" and the threshold value serving as a criterion for determining high and low priorities is "3", the determination in S202 is No.
[0100] If S202 is No, the process ends without notifying the base station device 100. On the other hand, if S202 is Yes, in S203, the base station device 100 is notified of the information acquired in S201.
[0101] 9B is a diagram showing a flowchart of processing performed by the base station device 100 of this embodiment. In Fig. 9B, the base station device 100 identifies radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 for communication based on a notification received from the terminal device 200, and then determines whether the identified radio resources collide with radio resources used by its own station. If it determines that the radio resources collide, the base station device 100 controls so that the identified radio resources are not used in communication between its own station and the terminal device 200.
[0102] 9B starts, the base station apparatus 100 performs an operation of receiving a notification from the terminal apparatus 200 via the PUCCH or PUSCH (S300). PUCCH is an abbreviation for Physical Uplink Control Channel, and PUSCH is an abbreviation for Physical Uplink Shared Channel.
[0103] In S301 following S300, resource reservation information and priority information of the PSSCH are acquired based on the notification received in S300 from the terminal device 200. Based on the acquired resource reservation information, the radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 are identified.
[0104] In S302, the base station device 100 determines whether the radio resources to be used in communication with the terminal device 200 conflict with the radio resources to be used by the V2X terminal device 700 identified in S301.
[0105] If S302 is No, the process ends, and if S302 is Yes, in S303, it is determined whether or not to change the wireless resources to be used in communication with the terminal device 200. This determination may be based on the priority information acquired in S301. For example, if the acquired priority value is "1" and the threshold value serving as the criterion for determining whether the priority is high or low is "3", the determination in S303 is No.
[0106] If S303 is No, communication with the terminal device 200 is suspended (S306), and if S303 is Yes, it is determined whether or not there are available wireless resources (S304).
[0107] In S304 following S303, it is determined whether or not there is a free wireless resource available, based on the resource reservation information acquired in S301.
[0108] If S304 is No, communication with the terminal device 200 is suspended (S306). On the other hand, if S304 is Yes, the radio resource to be used is changed to an available free radio resource other than the radio resource used by the V2X terminal device 700 (S305).
[0109] As a result, it is possible to reduce the conflict of wireless resources that occurs between sidelink communication in V2X and wireless communication other than V2X.
[0110] [Third Embodiment] In the third embodiment, the functional configuration of the base station device, the functional configuration of the terminal device, and the configuration of the software function blocks of the terminal device may be the same as the configurations shown in Figures 1, 3, and 4, as in the first and second embodiments.
[0111] Fig. 10 is a diagram showing a software function block 201C of a base station device according to the third embodiment. The block diagram shown in Fig. 10 differs from the block diagram according to the first embodiment described above (see Fig. 2) in that it includes a V2X terminal device communication range acquisition unit 211, a V2X terminal device position information acquisition unit 212, and a positional relationship determination unit 213. The block diagram shown in Fig. 10 also differs from the block diagram according to the first embodiment described above (see Fig. 2) in that the collision avoidance processing unit 210 is replaced with a collision avoidance processing unit 210C.
[0112] The V2X terminal device communication range acquisition unit 211 acquires information about the communication range of the V2X terminal device 700. Details of a method for acquiring information about the communication range (communication range) will be described later with reference to FIG. 12 .
[0113] The V2X terminal device position information acquisition unit 212 acquires the position information of the V2X terminal device 700. Details of the method for acquiring the position information of the V2X terminal device 700 will be described later with reference to FIG. 12 .
[0114] The positional relationship determination unit 213 determines whether or not the positional relationship between the host station and the V2X terminal device 700 satisfies a predetermined condition, based on the communication area and position information acquired by the V2X terminal device communication range acquisition unit 211 and the V2X terminal device position information acquisition unit 212. The predetermined condition is a condition that is met when the positional relationship is not such that a collision of wireless resources as described above may occur, and will be described in detail later.
[0115] The collision avoidance processing unit 210C has the following functions in addition to or instead of the functions of the collision avoidance processing unit 210 according to the first embodiment described above. That is, the collision avoidance processing unit 210C functions when communication with the terminal device 200 is suspended, and determines whether or not communication with the terminal device 200 can be resumed based on the determination result by the positional relationship determination unit 213. Then, the collision avoidance processing unit 210C resumes communication with the terminal device 200 if a predetermined condition is satisfied, and prohibits resumption of communication with the terminal device 200 if the predetermined condition is not satisfied.
[0116] Fig. 11 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of a wireless communication system according to this embodiment. As shown in Fig. 11, the wireless communication system according to this embodiment has a base station device 100 and a V2X terminal device 700a. Note that, although there may actually be a large number of base station devices, terminal devices, and V2X terminal devices, Fig. 11 shows only the configuration necessary for explaining this embodiment.
[0117] 12 is a diagram illustrating an example of SCI on a PSSCH according to an embodiment of the present invention. Specifically, FIG. 12 illustrates 'SCI format 2-B' used in the first and second modes of V2X communication. Referring to FIG. 12, the SCI in the PSSCH includes first to eighth fields (F01 to F08) as control information for V2X communication.
[0118] The first field F01 is a 'HARQ process number' and represents information for managing a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process.
[0119] The second field F02 is a 'New data indicator' that indicates whether the received TB (Transport Block) is a new transmission or a retransmission.
[0120] The third field F03 is a 'Redundancy version' and indicates information related to rate matching operation.
[0121] The fourth field F04 is 'Source ID' and indicates information for identifying the terminal device that is the sender.
[0122] The fifth field F05 is 'Destination ID' and indicates information for identifying the destination terminal device.
[0123] The sixth field F06 is a 'HARQ feedback enabled / disabled indicator' and indicates information for enabling or disabling feedback of a hybrid automatic repeat request.
[0124] The seventh field F07 is a 'Zone ID', which indicates the geographical location of the terminal.
[0125] The eighth field F08 is a 'Communication range requirement' and indicates information indicating the communication range of the terminal device that is the sender.
[0126] The receiving terminal device compares the Zone ID received from the transmitting terminal device with the Zone ID of its own terminal device to calculate the approximate distance to the transmitting terminal device. The receiving terminal device then determines whether the receiving terminal device is within the communication range of the transmitting terminal device based on the calculated distance and the communication range requirement information received from the transmitting terminal device. If the receiving terminal device determines that the receiving terminal device is within the communication range of the transmitting terminal device, it performs a retransmission process when reception of the PSSCH fails.
[0127] On the other hand, if the receiving terminal device determines that the receiving terminal device is not within the communication area of the transmitting terminal device, it does not execute retransmission processing when it fails to receive the PSSCH.
[0128] Of the first to eighth fields (F01 to F08) of the SCI described above, the seventh and eighth fields (F07 to F08) indicate the geographical location and communication area of the V2X terminal device 700.
[0129] That is, based on the SCI received on the PSSCH, the base station apparatus 100 can acquire location information and communication area information of the V2X terminal apparatus 700. That is, based on the Zone ID and communication range requirement information of the seventh to eighth fields (F07 to F08) included in the SCI, the base station apparatus 100 can acquire location information and communication area information of the V2X terminal apparatus 700.
[0130] In this embodiment, SCI format 2-B' is used to acquire location information and communication area information of the V2X terminal device 700. However, thirteenth and fourteenth fields (F13 to F14) may be provided in 'SCI format 1-A' as shown in FIG. 13. In this case, the location information and communication area information of the V2X terminal device 700 may be acquired by adding a Zone ID and a Communication range requirement and receiving 'SCI format 1-A' in FIG. 13 via the PSCCH.
[0131] Hereinafter, it will be described that in the first and second embodiments, when communication between the base station device 100 and the terminal device 200 is suspended, the base station device 100 controls the communication to resume.
[0132] 14 is a diagram showing a flowchart of communication resumption processing performed by the base station device 100 of this embodiment. This flowchart may be started by the control unit 101 when the base station device 100 suspends communication with the terminal device 200 to avoid the above-mentioned collision of radio resources. Alternatively, this flowchart may be started by the control unit 101 when the base station device 100 starts an operation to receive SCI on the PSCCH.
[0133] Furthermore, this flowchart is performed by the control unit 101 reading and executing a computer program stored in the memory unit 102, and after the operation of the flowchart begins, it is executed continuously while the base station device 100 is operating.
[0134] After starting the process of FIG. 14, the base station apparatus 100 checks the reception state of SCI on the PSCCH and PSSCH (S400).
[0135] In S401 following S400, it is determined whether or not a state in which SCI has not been received continues for a time period equal to or longer than a threshold. If S401 is Yes, it is determined that a predetermined condition is satisfied, and communication is resumed (S407). On the other hand, if S401 is No, the location information and communication range information of the V2X terminal device 700 are acquired from the received SCI (S402).
[0136] In S403 following S402, the distance A between the base station device 100 and the V2X terminal device 700 is calculated based on the location information of the V2X terminal device 700 acquired in S402.
[0137] In S404 following S403, a communication radius B centered on the V2X terminal device 700 is calculated based on the information on the communication area of the V2X terminal device 700 acquired in S402.
[0138] In S405 following S404, a value X is calculated by subtracting the communication radius B calculated in S404 from the distance A calculated in S403.
[0139] In S406, the base station device 100 determines whether the value of X calculated in S405 is equal to or greater than a threshold. In other words, if the value of X is equal to or greater than the threshold, it can be said that the distance between the base station device 100 and the V2X terminal device 700 exceeds the communication radius B (is sufficiently far away).
[0140] If S406 is Yes, it is determined that the predetermined condition is satisfied, and communication is resumed (S407), and the process ends. On the other hand, if S406 is No, the communication pause state continues (S408), and the process ends.
[0141] Although X calculated in S405 is used as the basis for the determination in S406, the distance A calculated in S403 may be used as the basis for the determination in S406 without using X.
[0142] As a result, it is possible to resume communication at an appropriate timing even when the base station device 100 stops communication to reduce radio resource conflicts with the V2X terminal device 700. That is, after the stoppage, the base station device 100 acquires location information and communication area information of the V2X terminal device 700, and determines whether to resume communication based on the acquired information, thereby making it possible to resume communication.
[0143] In FIG. 14, it is determined whether or not a state in which SCI has not been received continues for a time period equal to or longer than a threshold value, but this determination may be omitted as in the modified example shown in FIG. 15.

[0148] Furthermore, the program code read from the storage medium is written into a memory provided on a function expansion board inserted into the computer or a function expansion unit connected to the computer.
[0149] Then, based on the instructions of the program code, a CPU provided in the function expansion board or function expansion unit may perform some or all of the actual processing to realize the above-mentioned functions.
