Abstract
Description
Carbon-reducing solar streetlight containing moss, moss, and recycled resin, and method for manufacturing the same
[0001] The present invention relates to a carbon-reducing solar street light comprising moss, moss, and recycled resin, and a method for manufacturing the same.
[0002] The Earth's climate system, where we live, is comprised of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, biosphere, and geosphere. Mosses, comprising approximately 23,000 species including algae and phytoplankton, are the first terrestrial plants to adapt to life. Mosses evolved from aquatic algae and migrated to land, and are primarily found in damp areas, such as on rocks near streams and rivers. Despite their small size, mosses play a vital role in many ways. The humus they produce helps other plants establish roots. Mosses have the ability to store and regulate large amounts of water within their cells. Furthermore, they are resistant to toxins, absorbing and removing metallic pollutants, such as lead, found in our environment. They can hold up to 20 times their weight in water, allowing them to withstand drought for extended periods.
[0003] The present invention can have excellent properties in reducing carbon emissions and purifying particulate pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and ozone in the surrounding environment by using moss plants in solar street lights.
[0004] In addition, it optimizes the ability to purify air pollutants and absorb fine dust, and carbon flower moss, which was the first moss in the world to obtain variety protection, has a photosynthetic speed 6 times faster than existing moss and has an average of 27 more leaves than control varieties (common moss varieties such as late frost moss). It has the characteristic of storing water more than 20 times its own volume in its body, and has the ability to adsorb harmful substances in the city (volatile organic compounds, fine dust, etc.) and excellent ability to absorb carbon dioxide, reducing carbon dioxide by more than 65% (700 ppm => 250 ppm). Elemental analysis showed that the carbon content was 44.6% on average. Carbon flower moss can grow at temperatures from +55℃ to -70℃, and is not picky about specific locations. Carbon flower moss, recycled ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer) resin, polyethylene terephthalate, and moss are used to make solar streetlight cases.
[0005] The present invention aims to provide an environmentally friendly streetlight case with excellent mechanical properties using recycled plastic and waste paper.
