Abstract
Description
Packaging container with absorbent sheet
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a packaging container containing an absorbent sheet.
[0002] Absorbent sheets that absorb liquids are widely used. For example, Patent Document 1 listed below describes a pet sheet that includes a water-permeable top sheet, a water-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, and is used by placing it on top of the excrement disposal sheet so as to cover urine stains formed on the excrement disposal sheet.
[0003] Patent Publication No. 7295353
[0004] It is desirable for this type of absorbent sheet to be easily removed and ready to use when a pet urinates. To facilitate easy removal of the absorbent sheets, it is conceivable to store multiple absorbent sheets in an upright position in a packaging container so that the absorbent sheets can be removed from the packaging container by grasping them in the thickness direction. However, storing the absorbent sheets in an upright position can cause the absorbent sheets to tip over, making it difficult to remove the absorbent sheets from the packaging container.
[0005] Therefore, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a packaging container containing an absorbent sheet from which the absorbent sheet can be easily removed.
[0006] A packaging container containing an absorbent sheet according to one aspect comprises a packaging container including a bottom panel, a top panel, a front panel, a back panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel, and a plurality of absorbent sheets contained in the packaging container, wherein the bottom panel and the top panel face each other in the vertical direction, the front panel and the back panel face each other in the depth direction, and the first side panel and the second side panel face each other in the width direction, and each of the plurality of absorbent sheets includes a water-permeable top sheet, a back sheet on the opposite side of the top sheet, and an absorber disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, and the packaging container is foldable. The packaging container is folded in half along the fold line and placed in an upright position with the fold line facing in the vertical direction, and the packaging container has an opening line that is continuously formed on the front panel, back panel, first side panel, and second side panel, and is used to separate the upper part of the container including the top panel from the lower part of the container including the bottom panel to open the packaging container, and in the vertical direction, the opening line is located closer to the bottom panel than the tops of the multiple absorbent sheets in the upright position, and the distance in the vertical direction between the opening line and the tops is smaller than the stiffness of the folded absorbent sheets.
[0007] In this packaging container containing absorbent sheets, the tear line is located closer to the bottom panel than the tops of the upright absorbent sheets. Therefore, when the packaging container is opened along the tear line and the top of the container is separated from the bottom, the tops of the absorbent sheets are exposed through the opening. A user can insert their fingers into the packaging container through the opening and grasp the absorbent sheets in the thickness direction to remove them from the packaging container. Meanwhile, because each of the absorbent sheets is folded in half along the fold line, they are less likely to tip over inside the packaging container. In particular, because the distance between the tear line and the top in the vertical direction is smaller than the bending resistance of the folded absorbent sheets, the absorbent sheets are prevented from leaning against the bottom of the container and bending. Therefore, the upright position of the absorbent sheets is maintained, making this packaging container easy to remove.
[0008] The plurality of absorbent sheets may be folded in half and aligned in the width direction. In this packaging container, the absorbent sheets aligned in the width direction can be easily removed.
[0009] The backsheet has an outer surface opposite to the inner surface facing the absorbent body, and a hook-and-loop fastener is provided on the outer surface of the backsheet, and each of the multiple absorbent sheets may be folded in half along the fold line so that the backsheet is located on the inside. By folding the absorbent sheets in half so that the hook-and-loop fastener-provided backsheet is located on the inside and storing them in a packaging container, the hook-and-loop fastener is prevented from sticking to the topsheet of other absorbent sheets. Therefore, the absorbent sheets can be individually removed from the packaging container.
[0010] The plurality of absorbent sheets may include a first row of absorbent sheets aligned widthwise and a second row of absorbent sheets aligned widthwise and positioned adjacent to the first row of absorbent sheets in the depth direction, and the plurality of absorbent sheets may be arranged in the packaging container so that the fold lines of the first row of absorbent sheets face each other. By arranging the plurality of absorbent sheets so that the fold lines of the first row of absorbent sheets face each other, the hook-and-loop fastener of one of the first row of absorbent sheets and the second row of absorbent sheets is prevented from sticking to the top sheet of the other of the first row of absorbent sheets and the second row of absorbent sheets. This allows the absorbent sheets to be individually removed from the packaging container.
[0011] The backsheet is a resin film having an outer surface opposite to the inner surface facing the absorbent body, and a hook-and-loop fastener is provided on the outer surface of the backsheet, and each of the multiple absorbent sheets may be folded in half along a fold line so that the topsheet is positioned on the inside. The hook-and-loop fastener is less likely to stick to the resin film. Therefore, by constructing the backsheet from a resin film, even when the absorbent sheet is folded in half along the fold line so that the topsheet is positioned on the inside, the hook-and-loop fastener is prevented from sticking to the backsheet of another absorbent sheet. Therefore, the absorbent sheets can be individually removed from the packaging container.
[0012] The distance between the tear line and the top in the vertical direction may be greater than the bending resistance of the unfolded absorbent sheet, in which case, when the packaging container is opened along the tear line, a larger portion of the absorbent sheet is exposed, making it easier to remove the absorbent sheet from the packaging container.
[0013] The tear line may be formed closer to the bottom plate than the center line of the packaging container in the vertical direction. In this case, when the packaging container is opened along the tear line, a larger portion of the absorbent sheet is exposed, making it easier to remove the absorbent sheet from the packaging container.
[0014] The tear line is formed closer to the top panel than the center line of the plurality of absorbent sheets in the vertical direction, which makes it easier for the absorbent sheets to maintain an upright position and prevents the absorbent sheets from leaning against the bottom of the container and bending.
[0015] The distance between the tear line and the top in the vertical direction may be 50.2 mm or more and 95.2 mm or less. In this case, when the packaging container is opened along the tear line, the absorbent sheet can be prevented from leaning against the lower part of the container and bending, while the exposed portion of the absorbent sheet can be increased.
[0016] The opening line may include a front opening line formed on the front panel, a rear opening line formed on the rear panel, a first side opening line formed on the first side panel, and a second side opening line formed on the second side panel, and the first side opening line may include a first portion connected to the front opening line, a second portion connected to the rear opening line, and a third portion disposed between the first and second portions and formed at a position offset in the vertical direction from the first and second portions. In this case, the opening line can be easily broken starting from the third portion of the first side opening line.
[0017] The second side opening line may be located closer to the top panel than the first and second portions of the first side opening line in the vertical direction, and the front and back opening lines may extend in a direction inclined with respect to the width direction so as to approach the top panel as they approach the second side opening line. When the front and back opening lines are inclined as described above, when the packaging container is opened along the opening line, the height of the lower part of the container in the vertical direction increases as it approaches the second side panel. As a result, when a large number of absorbent sheets are contained in the packaging container, the absorbent sheets can be easily removed. On the other hand, when the number of absorbent sheets is reduced, the absorbent sheets are supported by the second side panel and are less likely to fall over, so the upright position of the absorbent sheets is maintained.
[0018] In the vertical direction, the tear lines may be located at the same height at the boundary between the front panel and the first side panel, the boundary between the front panel and the second side panel, the boundary between the back panel and the first side panel, and the boundary between the back panel and the second side panel. In this case, the absorbent sheet can be removed from any direction.
[0019] The packaging container may include a stopper piece formed on at least one of the front panel and the back panel and bendable into the packaging container along a fold line, the stopper piece being located closer to the bottom panel than the opening line in the vertical direction. In this case, by folding the stopper piece into the packaging container, the absorbent sheet inside the packaging container is supported by the stopper piece, preventing the absorbent sheet from falling over inside the packaging container.
[0020] Each of the plurality of absorbent sheets includes an absorbent section in which an absorbent body is disposed between a top sheet and a back sheet, and a flap section formed to surround the absorbent section but in which no absorbent body is disposed, and the stopper piece may contact the absorbent section when folded into the packaging container along the fold line. Because the absorbent section has higher rigidity than the flap section, the stopper piece can reliably support the absorbent sheet by contacting the absorbent section, thereby preventing the absorbent sheet from collapsing inside the packaging container.
[0021] The upper edge of the stopper piece may be located closer to the opening line than the vertical midpoint between the opening line and the bottom panel, which more reliably prevents the absorbent sheet from falling over inside the packaging container.
[0022] The packaging container may be a paper carton box. The opening line may include a perforation. In this case, the packaging container can be easily opened.
[0023] The opening line may include a pair of upper and lower perforations and a zipper portion formed between the pair of upper and lower perforations. In this case, the packaging container can be easily opened.
[0024] According to another aspect, a packaging container containing an absorbent sheet includes a packaging container including a bottom panel, a top panel, a front panel, a back panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel, and a plurality of absorbent sheets contained in the packaging container, wherein the bottom panel and the top panel face each other in the vertical direction, the front panel and the back panel face each other in the depth direction, and the first side panel and the second side panel face each other in the width direction, and each of the plurality of absorbent sheets includes a water-permeable top sheet, a back sheet on the opposite side of the top sheet, an absorber disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, and a back sheet. and a release sheet covering the outer surface of the plurality of absorbent sheets, and the packaging container is placed in an upright position with its thickness direction facing the width direction, the packaging container has a tear line formed continuously on the front panel, back panel, first side panel, and second side panel, for separating the upper part of the container including the top panel from the lower part of the container including the bottom panel to open the packaging container, the tear line being formed in the vertical direction at a position closer to the bottom panel than the tops of the plurality of absorbent sheets in the upright position, and the distance in the vertical direction between the tear line and the tops is smaller than the bending resistance of the absorbent sheets.
[0025] As described above, in this packaging container, the upright position of the absorbent sheet is maintained when the packaging container is opened, so that the absorbent sheet can be easily removed.
[0026] The distance between the tear line and the top in the vertical direction may be greater than the bending resistance of the absorbent sheet after the release sheet has been peeled off. In this case, when the packaging container is opened along the tear line, a larger portion of the absorbent sheet is exposed, making it easier to grasp the absorbent sheet in the thickness direction and remove it from the packaging container.
[0027] According to various aspects of the present invention, the absorbent sheet can be easily removed from the packaging container.

[0029] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the description of the drawings, the same elements are designated by the same reference numerals, and duplicate explanations will be omitted. The drawings may be partially simplified or exaggerated for ease of understanding, and the dimensional ratios are not limited to those shown in the drawings.
[0030] Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing a packaging container 1 containing an absorbent sheet according to one embodiment. The packaging container 1 contains pet sheets 2 shown in Fig. 2. The pet sheets 2 are an example of absorbent sheets having water-absorbing properties. The packaging container 1 defines an internal space for containing a plurality of pet sheets 2.
[0031] First, an example of how the pet sheet 2 can be used will be described with reference to Figures 3 and 4. Figure 3 shows a pet excrement disposal sheet (hereinafter referred to as "disposal sheet") 100. The disposal sheet 100 is placed in a pet's living space (e.g., indoors) and is used to keep the space clean. In other words, the disposal sheet 100 provides a space for the pet to excrete. The disposal sheet 100 may be placed directly on the floor or ground of the living space, or may be placed on a tray.
[0032] The disposal sheet 100 has a rectangular planar shape and includes a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. Pets excrete by standing on the disposal sheet 100. The disposal sheet 100 absorbs pet excrement U.
[0033] In this specification, pets broadly encompass vertebrates and invertebrates, and typically include pet animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. Pets also include animals other than mammals, such as birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Pet waste U typically includes urine, but also includes low-viscosity feces, saliva, blood, and other body fluids that can be absorbed by an absorbent. In the following explanation, an example of absorbing urine as the waste U will be described.
[0034] Pets tend to avoid excretion marks (urine marks) on the disposal sheet 100 when urinating. As a result, pets may urinate in an awkward position to avoid the urine marks, resulting in urination outside the disposal sheet 100 and soiling the pet's habitat. To avoid this problem, users of the disposal sheet 100 (e.g., pet owners) may replace the disposal sheet 100 with a new one even though there is usable area (area that can absorb new urine). However, replacing a usable disposal sheet 100 is not appropriate not only from an economic standpoint but also from an environmental protection standpoint.
[0035] To solve the above problem, as shown in Figure 4, the pet sheet 2 is used by overlapping the area of the waste disposal sheet 100 where the excrement U has been absorbed (e.g., the urine stain). By overlapping the disposal sheet 100 over the urine stain, the urine stain can be visually concealed, preventing pets from avoiding the urine stain and urinating outside the disposal sheet 100. As a result, the disposal sheet 100 can be used repeatedly for a long period of time, which is an improvement in terms of economy and environmental protection.
[0036] Next, the pet sheet 2 contained in the packaging container 1 will be described. Fig. 2 is a perspective view of an exemplary pet sheet 2. Fig. 5 is a plan view of the pet sheet 2 as seen from the back sheet 42 side, which will be described later. Fig. 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the pet sheet 2 taken along line A-A in Fig. 5.
[0037] As shown in Figure 2, the pet sheet 2 includes a main body 10 having a rectangular planar shape. The planar shape of the main body 10 is not limited to a rectangle, and any shape such as a polygon, circle, or ellipse may be used. The size of the main body 10 is determined depending on the size or type of pet that will use the pet sheet 2. Typically, the area of the pet sheet 2 in a planar view is smaller than the area of the disposal sheet 100.
[0038] The main body 10 has a water-permeable top sheet 41, a back sheet 42 on the opposite side of the top sheet, and an absorbent body 43 disposed between the top sheet 41 and the back sheet 42. The top sheet 41 has a surface 41a that faces the pet (upward) during use. Typically, the top sheet 41 is made of a water-permeable nonwoven fabric, and moves urine excreted by the pet toward the absorbent body 43. Examples of nonwoven fabrics that make up the top sheet 41 include air-through nonwoven fabrics, spunbond nonwoven fabrics, and point-bond nonwoven fabrics.
[0039] The back sheet 42 is disposed on the opposite side of the top sheet 41 in the Z direction and is water-impermeable. The back sheet 42 has substantially the same dimensions as the top sheet 41 and is disposed so as to completely overlap the top sheet 41 when viewed in the Z direction. The back sheet 42 has an outer surface 42a that is placed on the treatment sheet 100 during use. Typically, the back sheet 42 is made of a water-impermeable resin film. Examples of the resin film that constitutes the back sheet 42 include a polyethylene film and a polypropylene film. The back sheet 42 may be made of a water-repellent or hydrophobic nonwoven fabric, or may be a laminate formed by bonding a resin film and a nonwoven fabric.
[0040] The back sheet 42 prevents urine excreted on the pet sheet 2 from migrating toward the disposal sheet 100. The back sheet 42 may be water permeable. This is because the disposal sheet 100 has the function of absorbing urine, so there is no major problem even if urine excreted on the pet sheet 2 moves toward the disposal sheet 100.
[0041] The absorbent 43 is disposed between the top sheet 41 and the back sheet 42 and absorbs pet urine. The absorbent 43 has a generally rectangular planar shape. As shown in FIG. 3 , the absorbent 43 is slightly smaller than the top sheet 41 and the back sheet 42 and is disposed in the center of the main body 10. This results in the main body 10 having an absorbent section 10a in which the absorbent 43 is disposed between the top sheet 41 and the back sheet 42, and a flap section 10b in which the absorbent 43 is not disposed between the top sheet 41 and the back sheet 42. Typically, the flap section 10b is a rectangular frame-shaped region in which the top sheet 41 and the back sheet 42 are bonded together without the absorbent 43 interposed therebetween, and is formed to surround the absorbent section 10a. In other words, the flap section 10b is formed along the outer edge of the pet pad 2.
[0042] The rigidity of the flap portion 10b is lower than that of the absorbent portion 10a due to the absence of the absorber 43. In other words, the flap portion 10b is thin and soft, making it easy to grip with your hands. The folded pet sheet 2 can be naturally unfolded by pinching and lifting the flap portion 10b.
[0043] As shown in Figure 6, the absorbent body 43 includes an absorbent core 44 and a core wrap 45. The absorbent core 44 contains pulp and a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) and has water-absorbing properties. The pulp used for the absorbent core 44 may be, for example, chemical pulp, cellulose fiber, rayon, acetate, or other cellulose fiber. The SAP may be, for example, a starch-based, acrylic acid-based, or amino acid-based particulate or fibrous polymer. The core wrap 45 covers the surface of the absorbent core 44.
[0044] 5 and 6, the outer surface 42a of the backsheet 42 is provided with hook-and-loop fasteners 48 having bonding surfaces 48a that can be bonded to the treatment sheet 100. The bonding surfaces 48a of the hook-and-loop fasteners 48 engage with the surface of the treatment sheet 100. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 5, four rectangular hook-and-loop fasteners 48 are provided at the corners (four corners) of the outer surface 42a. These four hook-and-loop fasteners 48 are arranged so that the outer edge of each hook-and-loop fastener 48 is spaced apart from the outer edge of the backsheet 42. The hook-and-loop fasteners 48 are provided with their bonding surfaces 48a exposed to the outside.
[0045] The connecting surface 48a has a plurality of hooks protruding from the hook sheet. When the pet sheet 2 is placed on the disposal sheet 100, the hooks on the connecting surface 48a become entangled with the nonwoven fabric that forms the top sheet of the disposal sheet 100, thereby connecting the pet sheet 2 to the disposal sheet 100. Meanwhile, the shape of the hooks is designed so that the connecting surfaces 48a of the hook-and-loop fasteners 48 do not connect to each other.
[0046] The pet sheet 2 is folded in half along fold line L1 and stored in the packaging container 1. As shown in Fig. 5, fold line L1 is a fold line for folding the pet sheet 2 in half, and extends linearly across the absorbent body 43 along the center line of the main body 10. This fold line L1 divides the main body 10 of the pet sheet 2 into a first portion 18A located on one side of fold line L1 and a second portion 18B located on the other side of fold line L1.
[0047] As shown in FIG. 5 , the hook-and-loop fasteners 48 are positioned offset from the fold line L1 (not overlapping the fold line L1). More specifically, the four hook-and-loop fasteners 48 are positioned symmetrically with respect to the fold line L1. FIG. 7 shows the pet sheet 2 folded in half along the fold line L1 with the back sheet 42 positioned on the inside. As described above, the four hook-and-loop fasteners 48 are positioned symmetrically with respect to the fold line L1. Therefore, when the pet sheet 2 is folded in half along the fold line L1, the two hook-and-loop fasteners 48 on the first portion 18A contact the two hook-and-loop fasteners 48 on the second portion 18B. As described above, the hook-and-loop fasteners 48 are designed so that the connecting surfaces 48 a are not connected to each other. Therefore, when the pet sheet 2 is folded in half, the first portion 18A and the second portion 18B are not connected to each other and naturally separate from each other.
[0048] As described above, the pet sheet 2 is folded in half and stored in the packaging container 1. It is desirable that the pet sheet 2 can be easily removed and used immediately when the pet urinates. The packaging container 1 stores the pet sheet 2 so that the pet sheet 2 can be easily removed.
[0049] FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view showing a packaging container 1 that contains multiple pet sheets 2. The packaging container 1 is, for example, a paper carton box having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and made of cardboard or cardboard. As shown in FIG. 1, the packaging container 1 includes a bottom panel 11, a top panel 12, a front panel 13, a back panel 14, a left panel (first side panel) 15, and a right panel (second side panel) 16. FIG. 1 shows a width direction X, a depth direction Y, and a vertical direction Z that are perpendicular to each other. The width direction X is a direction that intersects or is perpendicular to the left panel 15 and the right panel 16 of the packaging container 1, and the depth direction Y is a direction that intersects or is perpendicular to the front panel 13 and the back panel 14 of the packaging container 1. The vertical direction Z is a direction perpendicular to the width direction X and the depth direction Y, and is a direction that intersects or is perpendicular to the bottom panel 11 and the top panel 12. In the following description, the direction from the bottom plate 11 to the top plate 12 will be referred to as "upward," and the direction from the top plate 12 to the bottom plate 11 will be referred to as "downward."
[0050] The front panel 13 and the back panel 14 of the packaging container 1 face each other in the depth direction Y, and the left panel 15 and the right panel 16 face each other in the width direction X. The bottom panel 11 and the top panel 12 of the packaging container 1 face each other in the up-down direction Z of the packaging container 1. The bottom panel 11 is connected to the lower ends of the front panel 13, the back panel 14, the left panel 15, and the right panel 16, closing the bottom of the packaging container 1. The top panel 12 is connected to the upper ends of the front panel 13, the back panel 14, the left panel 15, and the right panel 16, closing the top of the packaging container 1. The top panel 12 may be configured to pivot around the boundary between the top panel 12 and the back panel 14 as a fulcrum, allowing the top of the packaging container 1 to be opened and closed. Typically, the packaging container 1 is made by folding and gluing a single blank sheet.
[0051] As shown in Fig. 1, a tear line 20 is formed on the packaging container 1. The tear line 20 is continuously formed on the front panel 13, the back panel 14, the left panel 15, and the right panel 16. Typically, the tear line 20 is a perforation that includes a cut portion and a non-cut portion. When the tear line 20 is broken across its entire length, the packaging container 1 is opened.
[0052] 1 , the opening line 20 includes a front opening line 23, a back opening line 24, a left opening line (first side opening line) 25, and a right opening line (second side opening line) 26. In one embodiment, the front opening line 23, the back opening line 24, the left opening line 25, and the right opening line 26 extend substantially parallel to the bottom panel 11.
[0053] The front opening line 23 is formed on the front plate 13 and extends in the width direction X. More specifically, the front opening line 23 extends linearly in the width direction X so as to cross the front plate 13 between a boundary 31 between the front plate 13 and the left panel 15 and a boundary 32 between the front plate 13 and the right panel 16. The rear opening line 24 is formed on the rear panel 14 and extends linearly in the width direction X so as to cross the rear panel 14 between a boundary 33 between the rear panel 14 and the left panel 15 and a boundary 34 between the rear panel 14 and the right panel 16. The boundaries 31, 32, 33, and 34 form corners of the packaging container 1.
[0054] The left opening line 25 is formed on the left panel 15 and extends in the depth direction Y. The left opening line 25 extends linearly in the depth direction Y so as to cross the left panel 15 between the boundary portion 31 and the boundary portion 33. One end of the left opening line 25 is connected to one end of the front opening line 23 on the boundary portion 31, and the other end of the left opening line 25 is connected to one end of the back opening line 24 on the boundary portion 33. The right opening line 26 is formed on the right panel 16 and extends in the depth direction Y. The right opening line 26 extends linearly in the depth direction Y so as to cross the right panel 16 between the boundary portion 32 and the boundary portion 34. One end of the right opening line 26 is connected to the other end of the front opening line 23 on the boundary portion 32, and the other end of the right opening line 26 is connected to the other end of the back opening line 24 on the boundary portion 34. That is, the tearing line 20 extends continuously around the entire periphery of the side surface of the packaging container 1 .
[0055] 8 is a left side view of the packaging container 1. In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 8, the left opening line 25 includes a first portion 25a, a second portion 25b, and a third portion 25c disposed between the first portion 25a and the second portion 25b. One end of the first portion 25a is connected to one end of the front opening line 23 at the boundary 31, and the other end of the first portion 25a is connected to one end of the third portion 25c. One end of the second portion 25b is connected to one end of the back opening line 24 at the boundary 33, and the other end of the second portion 25b is connected to the other end of the third portion 25c.
[0056] The third portion 25c is formed at a position offset in the vertical direction Z with respect to the first portion 25a and the second portion 25b. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 8, the third portion 25c is arranged lower than the first portion 25a and the second portion 25b. The third portion 25c may also be arranged higher than the first portion 25a and the second portion 25b. By arranging the third portion 25c at a position offset in the vertical direction Z with respect to the first portion 25a and the second portion 25b, the packaging container 1 can be easily opened along the opening line 20 starting from the third portion 25c by pressing the left panel 15 directly above or directly below the third portion 25c. In one embodiment, the third portion 25c may be formed at the same height as the first portion 25a and the second portion 25b in the vertical direction Z.
[0057] 1, the front opening line 23, the back opening line 24, and the right opening line 26 are arranged at the same height in the vertical direction Z. In addition, the first part 25a and the second part 25b of the left opening line 25 are arranged at the same height as the front opening line 23, the back opening line 24, and the right opening line 26. Therefore, the opening lines 20 are arranged at the same height on the boundaries 31, 32, 33, and 34.
[0058] In one embodiment, the opening line 20 is formed below the center line of the packaging container 1 in the vertical direction Z (toward the bottom plate 11). That is, the height position of the opening line 20 on the boundary portions 31, 32, 33, and 34 is arranged below the center line of the packaging container 1 in the vertical direction Z. Note that, when the height positions of the front opening line 23, the back opening line 24, the left opening line 25, and the right opening line 26 are different, the height position of the opening line 20 means the lowest position among the height positions of the opening line 20 on the boundary portions 31, 32, 33, and 34. Note that, in another embodiment, the opening line 20 may be arranged above the center line of the packaging container 1 in the vertical direction Z (toward the front plate 13).
[0059] In one embodiment, the front panel 13 and the back panel 14 of the packaging container 1 may be formed with stopper pieces 35 for supporting a plurality of pet sheets 2 within the packaging container 1. As shown in Fig. 1, the stopper pieces 35 are formed by breaking perforations formed in the front panel 13 and the back panel 14, and can be folded toward the inside of the packaging container 1 along fold lines 35a extending in the up-down direction Z. The stopper pieces 35 are located below the opening line 20 in the up-down direction Z (toward the bottom panel 11). In particular, the upper edge of the stopper piece 35 may be located above the midline between the opening line 20 and the bottom panel 11 in the up-down direction Z (toward the opening line 20).
[0060] The stopper piece 35 may be provided on only one of the front panel 13 and the back panel 14. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the stopper piece 35 is formed by tearing a substantially U-shaped perforation that opens on the left panel 15 side, but the stopper piece 35 may also be formed by tearing a substantially U-shaped perforation that opens on the right panel 16 side. Furthermore, the stopper piece 35 may be bendable toward the inside of the packaging container 1 along a fold line that extends in the width direction X.
[0061] When opening the packaging container 1, the user presses the left panel 15 directly above or below the third portion 25c of the left opening line 25, breaking the left opening line 25 starting from the third portion 25c. The entire opening line 20 is then broken. As a result, as shown in Fig. 9, the packaging container 1 is separated into an upper container portion 51 including the top panel 12 and a lower container portion 52 including the bottom panel 11.
[0062] As shown in Figure 9, the multiple pet sheets 2 are contained in the packaging container 1 in an upright position with the fold line L1 facing in the vertical direction Z. Here, in the vertical direction Z, the opening line 20 is located below (toward the bottom panel 11) the tops 2a of the multiple pet sheets 2 in the upright position. Therefore, when the packaging container 1 is separated into the upper container portion 51 and the lower container portion 52, the upper portions of the multiple pet sheets 2 contained in the packaging container 1 are exposed through the opening 36 formed between the upper container portion 51 and the lower container portion 52. Therefore, a user can insert their fingers into the packaging container 1 through the opening 36 and pinch the exposed portion of the pet sheet 2 from the thickness direction to remove it from the packaging container 1.
[0063] Figure 10 is a left side view of the opened packaging container 1. The distance H1 between the tear line 20 and the top 2a of the pet sheet 2 in the vertical direction Z is smaller than the bending resistance of the pet sheet 2 folded in half. As shown in Figure 10, the distance H1 between the tear line 20 and the top 2a of the pet sheet 2 in the vertical direction Z corresponds to the height of the exposed portion of the pet sheet 2 when the packaging container 1 is opened. In other words, the distance H1 is the difference between the height H2 of the pet sheet 2 in an upright state relative to the bottom panel 11 and the height H3 of the tear line 20 relative to the bottom panel 11. Although not limited thereto, the distance H1 between the tear line 20 and the top 2a of the pet sheet 2 in the vertical direction Z is, for example, 50.2 mm or more and 95.2 mm or less.
[0064] The bending resistance is an index of bending resilience and is measured using a bending resistance tester (for example, a bending resistance tester CAN-1MCA manufactured by Daiei Kagaku Seiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd.) conforming to JIS L 1096 Method A (45° cantilever method). Specifically, the bending resistance of the pet sheet 2 folded in half can be measured as follows. First, a 30 mm x 100 mm test piece is cut out from the absorbent portion 10a of the pet sheet 2 folded in half, and the test piece is set on a table with a 45° inclined surface. Next, the test piece is pushed out at a speed of 5 mm / sec, and the push-out distance is measured when it forms an angle of 150° with respect to the horizontal plane. The measured push-out distance is then taken as the bending resistance.
[0065] As described above, in the packaging container 1, the distance H1 between the tear line 20 and the top 2a of the pet sheet 2 in the vertical direction Z is smaller than the bending resistance of the pet sheet 2 folded in half, so that the pet sheet 2 is prevented from leaning against the lower part 52 of the container and bending when the packaging container 1 is opened, and the upright position is maintained. Therefore, the pet sheet 2 can be easily removed from this packaging container 1.
[0066] The distance H1 between the tear line 20 and the top 2a of the pet sheet 2 in the vertical direction Z may be greater than the bending resistance of the pet sheet 2 in an unfolded state (before folding). In this case, the exposed portion of the pet sheet 2 can be increased when the packaging container 1 is opened, making it easier to remove the pet sheet 2 from the packaging container 1.
[0067] Fig. 11 is a top view of the opened packaging container 1. As shown in Fig. 11, the multiple pet sheets 2 are folded in half with the back sheet 42 disposed on the inside and arranged in the width direction X inside the packaging container 1. In one embodiment, the multiple pet sheets 2 may be arranged in two rows. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 11, the multiple pet sheets 2 include a first row of multiple pet sheets 2A arranged in the width direction X and a second row of multiple pet sheets 2B arranged in the width direction X. The first row of multiple pet sheets 2A and the second row of multiple pet sheets 2B are arranged adjacent to each other in the depth direction Y and are aligned in the depth direction Y.
[0068] The first row of pet sheets 2A and the second row of pet sheets 2B are arranged in the packaging container 1 with their fold lines L1 facing each other. That is, the fold lines L1 of the first row of pet sheets 2A and the second row of pet sheets 2B face each other. By storing the pet sheets 2 in this manner, the hook-and-loop fasteners 48 of the first row of pet sheets 2A are prevented from adhering to the top sheet 41 of the second row of pet sheets 2B, and the hook-and-loop fasteners 48 of the second row of pet sheets 2B are prevented from adhering to the top sheet 41 of the first row of pet sheets 2A. Therefore, the first row of pet sheets 2A and the second row of pet sheets 2B are prevented from being joined together, allowing the pet sheets 2 to be individually removed from the packaging container 1.
[0069] When several pet sheets 2 have been removed from the packaging container 1 and the number of remaining pet sheets 2 is decreasing, the user moves the pet sheets 2 in the packaging container 1 toward the left panel 15, as shown in Figure 12, and folds the stopper pieces 35 formed on the front panel 13 and back panel 14 along the fold lines 35a toward the inside of the packaging container 1. At this time, the stopper pieces 35 folded toward the inside of the packaging container 1 come into contact with the absorbent portions 10a of the pet sheets 2 in the packaging container 1, and the pet sheets 2 are supported by the stopper pieces 35. As a result, the pet sheets 2 are prevented from falling over inside the packaging container 1.
[0070] As described above, in the packaging container 1 described above, the opening line 20 is located closer to the bottom panel 11 than the tops 2a of the multiple pet sheets 2 in an upright position. Therefore, when the packaging container 1 is opened along the opening line 20 and the upper container portion 51 is separated from the lower container portion 52, the upper portions of the multiple pet sheets 2 are exposed from the packaging container 1 through the opening 36. Therefore, a user can insert their fingers into the packaging container 1 through the opening 36, grasp the pet sheets 2 in the thickness direction, and remove them from the packaging container 1. Meanwhile, because each of the multiple pet sheets 2 is folded in half along the fold line L1, they are less likely to tip over within the packaging container 1. In particular, because the distance H1 between the opening line 20 and the tops 2a of the pet sheets 2 in the vertical direction Z is smaller than the bending resistance of the folded pet sheets 2, the pet sheets 2 are prevented from leaning against the lower container portion 52 and bending. Therefore, the upright position of the pet sheets 2 is maintained, and the packaging container 1 allows the pet sheets 2 to be easily removed.
[0071] 9 to 12, the multiple pet sheets 2 are folded in half with the back sheet 42 facing inward and placed inside the packaging container 1, but if the back sheet 42 is made of a resin film, the multiple pet sheets 2 may be folded in half with the top sheet 41 facing inward and placed inside the packaging container 1. Because the hook-and-loop fasteners 48 do not easily stick to resin film, even when multiple pet sheets 2 are lined up in the width direction X inside the packaging container 1 folded in half with the back sheet 42 facing inward, the hook-and-loop fasteners 48 are prevented from sticking to the back sheets 42 of other pet sheets 2.
[0072] Next, a packaging container according to another embodiment will be described. Fig. 13 is a perspective view showing a packaging container 1A according to another embodiment. Below, differences from the packaging container 1 shown in Fig. 1 will be mainly described, and overlapping descriptions will be omitted.
[0073] 13, the right opening line 26 formed on the right face plate 16 of the packaging container 1A is disposed higher (closer to the top panel 12) than the left opening line 25 formed on the left face plate 15. Accordingly, the front opening line 23 and the back opening line 24 of the packaging container 1A extend at an angle with respect to the depth direction Y so as to head upward as they approach the right opening line 26.
[0074] When a user opens the packaging container 1A along the opening line 20, the packaging container 1A is separated into an upper container portion 51 including the top panel 12 and a lower container portion 52 including the bottom panel 11, as shown in FIG. 14 . Because the front opening line 23 and the back opening line 24 are inclined, the height of the lower container portion 52 in the vertical direction Z increases from the left panel 15 toward the right panel 16. With this packaging container 1A, when a large number of pet sheets 2 are contained, the user can easily remove the pet sheets 2 from the left panel 15 side. On the other hand, when the pet sheets 2 are sequentially removed from the left panel 15 side and the number of pet sheets 2 contained in the packaging container 1A decreases, the pet sheets 2 are supported by the right panel 16 and are less likely to tip over. This makes it easier to maintain the upright position of the right panel 16.
[0075] Next, a packaging container according to yet another embodiment will be described. Fig. 15 is a perspective view showing a packaging container 1B according to another embodiment. Below, differences from the packaging container 1 shown in Fig. 1 will be mainly described, and overlapping descriptions will be omitted.
[0076] As shown in Fig. 15, the packaging container 1B contains a plurality of pet sheets 3. The plurality of pet sheets 3 contained in the packaging container 1B are not folded, and are arranged in the width direction X inside the packaging container 1B in an upright position with their thickness direction facing the width direction X. Fig. 16 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the pet sheet 3. As shown in Fig. 16, the pet sheet 3 differs from the pet sheet 2 in that, in addition to the top sheet 41, back sheet 42, and absorbent body 43, the pet sheet 3 further includes an adhesive layer 46 and a release sheet 47.
[0077] The adhesive layer 46 is provided so as to cover the outer surface 42a of the back sheet 42. The release sheet 47 covers the back sheet 42 via the adhesive layer 46. In this pet sheet 3, by peeling off the release sheet 47, the back sheet 42 can be attached to the treatment sheet 100 by the adhesive force of the adhesive layer 46.
[0078] A plurality of pet sheets 3 are contained in the packaging container 1B in an upright position with the release sheet 47 not peeled off. FIG. 17 is a left side view of the opened packaging container 1B. As shown in FIG. 17, the distance H1 between the tear line 20 and the top 3a of the pet sheet 3 in the vertical direction Z is smaller than the bending resistance of the pet sheet 3 with the release sheet 47. Unlike the pet sheet 2, the pet sheet 3 is not folded in half, but its bending resistance is increased by the release sheet 47. As described above, because the distance H1 between the tear line 20 and the top 3a of the pet sheet 3 in the vertical direction Z is smaller than the bending resistance of the pet sheet 3, the pet sheet 3 is prevented from leaning against the lower container part 52 and bending when the packaging container 1B is opened, and the upright position is maintained.
[0079] The distance H1 between the tear line 20 and the top 3a of the pet sheet 3 in the vertical direction Z may be greater than the bending resistance of the pet sheet 3 from which the release sheet 47 has been peeled off. In this case, when the packaging container 1B is opened along the tear line 20, the exposed portion of the pet sheet 3 can be increased, so that the pet sheet 3 can be easily removed from the packaging container 1B by pinching it from the thickness direction.
[0080] While the packaging containers 1, 1A, and 1B according to various embodiments have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. In other words, it should be noted that the above-described embodiments are intended as illustrative examples and do not limit the scope of the present invention.
[0081] For example, in the above embodiment, the packaging containers 1, 1A, and 1B contain the pet sheets 2 and 3, but the absorbent sheets contained in the packaging containers 1, 1A, and 1B are not limited to the pet sheets 2 and 3. For example, the disposal sheet 100 may be contained.
[0082] As shown in FIG. 18 , the opening line 20 may be a so-called double-zipper perforation including a pair of upper and lower perforations 20a, 20b and a zipper portion 20c formed between the upper and lower pair of perforations 20a, 20b. In this case, the opening line 20 can be easily broken by pulling the zipper portion 20c. When the opening line 20 is a double-zipper perforation, as shown in FIG. 18 , the perforation 20a or the perforation 20b of the third portion 25c of the left opening line 25 may be formed at a position offset in the vertical direction Z from the perforations 20a or the perforations 20b of the first portion 25a and the second portion 25b of the left opening line 25. The various embodiments described above can be combined within a consistent range.
