Abstract
Description
[0001] SPOT OR SIMILAR TYPE LIGHTING FOR ELECTRIFIED TRACK
[0002] FIELD OF INVENTION
[0003]
[0001] The present invention relates to a spot or similar luminaire for electrified track lighting. More specifically, it comprises a structure with octagonal geometry, made of synthetic polymers, equipped with an adjustable system for advancing the front body with a graduated scale, which allows the user to adjust the recess of the light source. It also has rounded edges, rear ventilation openings, a click system to facilitate lamp replacement, and a fixing handle composed of two pieces with internal space for cable passage, resulting in a product without visible cables.
[0004]
[0002] This new construction allows adjustment by rotation of 110° degrees in the direction of the light and rotation of 300° degrees on the axis of the body itself, for direction in any position.
[0005]
[0003] The luminaire has construction options with built-in LED or with the use of lamps, allowing greater variability of use and application. In the lamp version, it has up to three construction variations, compatible with MR11, MR16, AR70, PAR20, AR111 and PAR30 lamps, and can be manufactured in different colors.
[0006] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0007]
[0004] Spotlights with a bulb are a popular type of lighting that consists of a recessed or surface-mounted ceiling-mounted fixture with a built-in bulb that emits directional light. These luminaires are frequently used in homes, offices, shops, and other commercial spaces due to their ability to direct light to specific areas.
[0005] Currently, there are several models of spotlights on the market, of which we can highlight the track spotlight model, which basically describes a rail attached to the ceiling where several lighting points are arranged. The way these structures, usually cylindrical, equipped with sockets for arranging the bulb (spots), is fixed through external rods and connectors with locks that allow attachment to the rail, enabling the direction of the lighting and positioning of the bulbs along the rail.
[0008]
[0006] In this luminaire model, the LED or conventional lamp is arranged, partially or totally, in the internal portion of the structure, being fixed by the electrical connection socket, said socket being screwed to the structure in order to guarantee the fixation of the lamp. The electrical connection of this luminaire model is made through the rail that directs the wiring to each lighting point, so that the wiring is connected to the socket.
[0009]
[0007] However, current spot luminaires have rigid bodies that do not allow for adjustments to the body according to the desired depth. Furthermore, they present several inconveniences to users, especially when it becomes necessary to replace lamps, maintain sockets or maintain electrical wiring, due to the need to disassemble the entire luminaire to allow for the necessary repairs or replacements.
[0010]
[0008] In research carried out on the state of the art, we found several models of spot-type luminaires, where we can highlight the following documents:
[0011]
[0009] Document CN20801 1398 describes a lamp body, coupling assembly and guide assembly by forming integration in the lamp body with light source module and power module passed through coupling assembly with the lamp body with guide.
[0012]
[0010] Document CN208331909 describes an LED spotlight, comprising a body, a control assembly and a mounting seat, the spotlight body comprising a lamp, a light source assembly, being mounted on a lamp bead of the light source plate. The light source plate and the lamp bead are mounted together with the lamp and connected to the front end of the base.
[0013]
[0011] These documents cited in the prior art describe spot-type luminaires that have rigid bodies that make it impossible to move and adjust the main body, in addition to describing systems where lamps are difficult to replace and difficult to remove and place next to electrified rails.
[0014]
[0012] Document PCT / BR2023 / 050079, from the same owner, describes a structure with a lid and a bas-relief that houses an operating lever, used in the lighting sector, which describes a system for fixing and supplying lights to electrified rails.
[0015]
[0013] This document claims in detail the constructiveness applied to the connector for electrified rails that presents an easy fixing and fitting system, as described and presented in this application.
[0016]
[0014] Thus, the object of the present invention is a spot luminaire equipped with a structure made of synthetic polymers, which features an adjustable system for advancing the front body with a graduated scale, which allows the user to adjust the recess of the light source. It also features rounded edges, rear ventilation openings, a click system to facilitate lamp replacement, and a two-piece fixing handle with internal space for cable passage, resulting in a product without visible cables. This new construction allows for adjustment by rotation of 110° degrees in directing the light and rotation of 300° degrees on the axis of the body itself, for directing it in any position.

[0043]
[0039] The luminaire (100) is made from synthetic polymers, replacing the aluminum normally used in these models, which reduces costs and improves the finish.
[0044]
[0040] The luminaire (100) has rounded edges with a front design that features details reminiscent of the previous design, to the point of highlighting the new design as a possible reinterpretation of the old versions.
[0041] The luminaire (100) is equipped with a connector (200) for electrified tracks that features an easy-to-fix and fit system, both in the recessed and surface-mounted versions.
[0045]
[0042] The luminaire (100) is equipped with a fixing strap (30) with an internal channel (30A) composed of two pieces with internal space for passing cables, which results in a product without visible cables, and the fixing system of the strap (30) occurs by means of a fixing clip (31) with special knurling (31 1) to generate greater grip when tightening manually.
[0046]
[0043] The body (10) has breaks (1 1 ) for rear ventilation, a click system (12) to facilitate changing bulbs and a bulb socket fixed inside the rear base.
[0047]
[0044] The body (10) internally presents a set of grooves (13) that fit together with the projections (21 1 ) of the recess (21 ) of the front body (20). The projections (21 1 ) and grooves (13) allow the adjustment of advancement or retraction of the body (20), allowing the user to adjust the distance according to the gradual scale arranged in the recess (21 ).
[0048]
[0045] The click system (12) when activated moves the projections (21 1 ) away from the grooves (13) so as to allow the structure (20) to be removed, to facilitate the replacement and installation of the lamps.
[0049]
[0046] The body (10) allows adjustment by rotation of 110° in the direction of the light next to the fixing point of the clips (31) and rotation of 300° on the axis of the body itself next to the fixing point of the connector (200), allowing direction in any position.
[0047] The luminaire (100) has construction modalities with built-in LED or with the use of lamps, allowing greater variability of use and application.
[0048] The luminaire (100) has up to three construction variations, compatible with MR1 1, MR16, AR70, PAR20, AR1 1 and PAR30 lamps, and can be manufactured in different colors.
[0050]
[0049] Figures 13 and 14 detail the construction of the luminaire with the arrangement of the socket and bulb.
[0051]
[0050] The luminaire (100), when equipped with a socket and bulb, has a construction equipped with a lower body (10), front body (20), handle (30) fixed by clips (31) and connector (200), so that the body (10) is equipped with a conductor cover (10A) that serves to hide the conductors that come out of the handle and go to the socket (10B) which is of the GU10, E27 or similar type. The front body (20) is equipped with a flange (20A) that serves to form the round light effect, so that without this flange the light effect would follow the octagonal shape of the body, as detailed in Figure 15.
