[0056] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0057] In this detailed description, the protective motorcycle garment, which is the subject of the invention, is explained with examples provided solely to enhance understanding of the subject and without imposing any limiting effects.

[0058] The invention specifically concerns a motorcycle innerwear (G) designed to prevent injuries in accidents and to be worn inside clothing.

[0059] The invention, designed to introduce a protective garment structure used in vehicles such as motorcycles, particularly consists of at least one piece of innerwear (G) that is suitable to be worn inside regular clothing, including an upper garment (10) and / or a lower garment (20). The invention is characterized by being made of fabric (30) produced by knitting para-aramid yarn and assembled with stitches (70) formed using para-aramid yarn. It includes at least one pocket (50), produced by knitting para-aramid yarn, with stitches (70) formed using para-aramid yarn to attach the pocket to the fabric (30), allowing the placement of at least one support element (40) in at least one region. The garment also features bands (60) at the wrist and ankle areas to prevent slipping and laminated coatings (51 ) on at least one surface of each pocket (50) to increase durability. Figure 3 presents a representative drawing of the innerwear (G), consisting of an upper garment (10) and a lower garment (20). Both the upper garment (10) and the lower garment (20) are made from fabric (30) and contain multiple stitches (70) created through garment manufacturing processes. These stitches (70) involve cutting the fabric (30) to form body and sleeve sections for the upper garment (10) and cutting the fabric to form lower body parts and, preferably, integrated leg sections for the lower garment (20).

[0060] Within the scope of the invention, the upper garment (10) is created using at least two pieces of fabric (30) assembled with stitches (70) during garment manufacturing processes. Similarly, the lower garment (20) is created using at least two pieces of fabric (30) and stitched (70) together during garment manufacturing.

[0061] The fabric (30) used in the invention is made from para-aramid yarn, and the aforementioned stitches (70) are created using para-aramid yarn.

[0062] The fabric (30) is produced by knitting para-aramid yarn. In this context, the fabric (30) is formed using at least one of the knitting techniques such as selanik knitting (half cardigan), plain rib knitting, striped rib knitting, or double knitting. As a result, the upper garment (10) and lower garment (20) obtained using this fabric (30) fit closely to the body. Additionally, the dense structure provided to the fabric (30) increases protection during accidents.

[0063] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fabric (30) is produced using the selanik knitting technique with para-aramid yarn. This knitting method preferably follows a two- knit, two-purl pattern, with each row reversed during the knitting process. This provides the knit with a textured and bulky appearance, helping to minimize injuries during accidents. The fundamental steps of the technique are as follows:

[0064] First Row (Right Side): Continuously knitting in a two-knit, two-purl pattern.

[0065] Second Row (Wrong Side): Purl the stitches that were knitted and knit the stitches that were purled in the first row.

[0066] Repeat: These two rows are repeated until the desired fabric size is achieved.

[0067] This knitting technique adds flexibility to the fabric (30). Thanks to this flexibility, the lower garment (20) and upper garment (10) adapt better to the body and provide freedom of movement. This allows the innerwear (G) to be worn under everyday clothing. In one preferred embodiment of the invention, the fabric (30) is produced using a plain rib knitting technique with para-aramid yarn. It follows a one-knit, one-purl pattern. This gives the fabric (30) a high degree of flexibility. The lower garment (20) and upper garment (10) produced using this fabric (30) conform to the body.

[0068] In another preferred embodiment, the fabric (30) is created either by combining plain rib knitting with striped rib knitting techniques or solely by using the striped rib knitting technique. It includes multiple rows of knit and purl stitches. This provides the fabric (30) with a high degree of flexibility while increasing the surface area, resulting in better protection during an accident.

[0069] In yet another preferred embodiment, the fabric (30) is produced using the chain knit / armor knit technique with para-aramid yarn. One row of stitches creates full needle knitting, while the second row knits only on the front or back, completing the knit. The loop sizes differ on the front and back surfaces of the fabric (30). This knitting method causes the loops on the front surface of the fabric to extend while compressing the loops on the back surface, thereby adding flexibility to the fabric (30). This flexibility allows the innerwear (G) to be worn under everyday clothing.

[0070] Figures 1 A, 1 B, and 1 C illustrate the upper garment (10), while Figures 2A, 2B, and 2C show the lower garment (20). The innerwear (G), which consists of the upper garment (10) and the lower garment (20), includes multiple pockets (50). These pockets are located in areas of the body that require protection during an accident. In addition to increasing the durability of the fabric (30) in these areas, the pockets (50) enable the placement of support elements (40) between the pocket (50) and the fabric (30). As a result, protective support plates for motorcycles can be positioned in these regions, ensuring that the innerwear (G) provides better protection for the body during an accident. The innerwear (G) can be worn directly under everyday clothing, providing protection while maintaining the aesthetic appearance of regular clothing.

[0071] Figures 4A, 4B, and 4C illustrate another preferred embodiment of the invention. In this embodiment, the upper garment (10) and lower garment (20) are either connected to each other or produced as a single piece of fabric (30), resulting in a coverall structure. This coverall garment (G) can be put on and taken off using at least one zipper (80).

[0072] Within the scope of this embodiment, the fabric (30) forming the coverall-style innerwear (G), which consists of the integrated upper garment (10) and lower garment (20), is made using at least one of the following knitting techniques: milano rib, plain rib, striped rib, or chain knit / armor knit. The fabric (30) is composed of 100% para-aramid yarn.

[0073] The back section of the leg portion features a mesh-knit fabric (31 ), which is optionally included. This mesh-knit fabric (31 ) is made from yarns produced by knitting para-aramid (100%), cotton (100%), or suitable blends of para-aramid, meta-aramid, cotton, nylon, polyester, and viscose fibers. The mesh-knit fabric (31 ) and the other fabric (30) components are stitched together using 100% para-aramid sewing thread, forming seams (70) to create the coverall.

[0074] In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the upper garment (10) includes the following protective pockets: a shoulder support pocket (11 ) in the shoulder region, elbow support pockets (12) in the elbow areas, a back support pocket (13) in the back region, and at least one waist support pocket (14) in the waist area. The mentioned shoulder support pocket (1 1 ), elbow support pocket (12), back support pocket (13), and waist support pocket (14) are made using at least one of the knitting techniques of milano rib, plain rib, striped rib, or chain knit / armor knit, applied to the fabric (30) and stitched onto the upper garment (10) using para-aramid yarn.

[0075] In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the lower garment (20) includes knee supportpockets (21 ) in the knee region and at least two side support pockets (22) in the hip regions. These knee support pockets (21 ) and side support pockets (22) are also made using at least one of the knitting techniques applied to the fabric (30), such as milano rib, plain rib, striped rib, or chain knit / armor knit, and are stitched onto the lower garment (20) using para-aramid yarn.

[0076] The mentioned support pocket (11 ), elbow support pocket (12), back support pocket (13), waist support pocket (14), knee support pocket (21 ), and side support pocket (22) contain at least one opening with the fabric (30), allowing a support element (40) to be positioned within this opening. The opening can be closed with at least one zipper (80) or hook-and- loop fastener. The mentioned zipper (80) is resistant to friction and wear.

[0077] In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the mentioned support pocket (1 1 ), elbow support pocket (12), back support pocket (13), waist support pocket (14), knee support pocket (21 ), and side support pocket (22) are designed and stitched to accommodate knee, elbow, shoulder, and back protectors conforming to EN 1621 standards. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the mentioned support pocket (1 1 ), elbow support pocket (12), back support pocket (13), waist support pocket (14), knee support pocket (21 ), and side support pocket (22) include an additional laminated coating (51 ) for resistance to cutting and abrasion.

[0078] The upper garment (10) and lower garment (20) of the invention include sections at the ends of sleeve and leg portions, featuring stretchable bands (60) designed to fit snugly around wrist and ankle regions, preventing the innerwear (G) from slipping. These bands (60) are preferably stitched using para-aramid yarn. The mentioned bands (60) have a non-slip inner surface.

[0079] In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the support elements (40) comply with the EN-1621 standard and can be positioned in the pockets (50) on the innerwear (G) according to the user's preference.

[0080] In another preferred embodiment, the EN1621 -compatible pockets (50) may feature laminated coating or be made entirely of 100% para-aramid fabric (30) without any coating.

[0081] In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the fabric (30) can be produced using weaving techniques.

[0082] The scope of protection of the invention is defined in the claims provided in the annex and is not limited to the examples described in this detailed explanation. It is evident that a person skilled in the art can develop similar embodiments without departing from the main concept of the invention, based on the above description and the technical drawings.
