Description

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CONFIRMING SUPPORT STATUS OF UE AGGREGATION CAPABILITY IN MOBILE COMMUNICATIONSCROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED PATENT APPLICATION (S)

[0001] The present disclosure is part of a non-provisional application claiming the priority benefit of PCT Application No. PCT / CN2024 / 076340, filed on 6 February 2024, the content of which herein being incorporated by reference in their entirety.TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002] The present disclosure is generally related to mobile communications and, more particularly, to confirming support status of UE aggregation capability with respect to apparatus in mobile communications.BACKGROUND

[0003] Unless otherwise indicated herein, approaches described in this section are not prior art to the claims listed below and are not admitted as prior art by inclusion in this section.

[0004] User equipment (UE) aggregation, also known as device collaboration, in mobile communication aims to enhance network performance and user experience by enabling multiple devices to transmit and / or receive data jointly. By leveraging the combined capabilities of multiple devices, device collaboration may allow to optimize resource usage, increase data throughput, and improve reliability and efficiency of the network.

[0005] Specifically, in a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) scenario where a primary device and a collaborating device jointly transmit data streams using their air interfaces, the primary device may establish a non-3GPP (n3) connection with the collaborating UE. This may allow the primary device to share portions of the data to be transmitted with the collaborating device and allow both the primary device and the collaborating device to transmit the data to the network node through the 3GPP communication. The network node may receive data from both devices and perform data convergence to reconstruct the original data stream. Before the UE aggregation is initiated, it is crucial for both the UE and the network node to confirm their respective support capabilities for UE aggregation, thereby ensuring both parties are compatible and can effectively utilize this feature. However, no existing scheme currently enables the user equipment (UE) and the network node to effectively communicate the capabilities related to UE aggregation.

[0006] Accordingly, the mechanism for informing user equipment (UE) aggregation capabilities has emerged as a critical consideration in the context of advanced wireless communication networks. Therefore, there exists a need for the development and implementation of efficient and reliable schemes for communicating UE aggregation capabilities.SUMMARY

[0007] The following summary is illustrative only and is not intended to be limiting in any way. That is, the following summary is provided to introduce concepts, highlights, benefits and advantages of the novel and non-obvious techniques described herein. Select implementations are further described below in the detailed description. Thus, the following summary is not intended to identify essential features of the claimed subject matter, nor is it intended for use in determining the scope of the claimed subject matter.

[0008] An objective of the present disclosure is to propose solutions or schemes that address the aforementioned issues pertaining to confirming support status of UE aggregation capability with respect to apparatus in mobile communications.

[0009] In one aspect, a method may involve an apparatus receiving a first message including a first indication from a network node. The first indication may indicate whether the network node supports UE aggregation. The method may further involve the apparatus transmitting a second message including a second indication to the network node. The second indication may indicate whether the apparatus supports the UE aggregation.

[0010] In one aspect, a method may involve an apparatus transmitting a first message including a first indication to a UE. The first indication may indicate whether the apparatus supports UE aggregation. The method may further involve the apparatus receiving a second message including a second indication from the UE. The second indication may indicate whether the UE supports the UE aggregation.

[0011] In one aspect, an apparatus may comprise a transceiver which, during operation, wirelessly communicates with a wireless network. The apparatus may also comprise a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor, during operation, may perform operations comprising receiving, via the transceiver, a first message including a first indication from a network node. The first indication may indicate whether the network node supports UE aggregation. The processor may further perform operations comprising transmitting, via the transceiver, a second message including a second indication to the network node. The second indication may indicate whether the apparatus supports the UE aggregation.

[0012] It is noteworthy that, although description provided herein may be in the context of certain radio access technologies, networks and network topologies such as Long-Term Evolution (LTE) , LTE-Advanced, LTE-Advanced Pro, 5th Generation (5G) , New Radio (NR) , Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) , Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) , and 6th Generation (6G) , the proposed concepts, schemes and any variation (s)  / derivative (s) thereof may be implemented in, for and by other types of radio access technologies, networks and network topologies. Thus, the scope of the present disclosure is not limited to the examples described herein.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0021] Detailed embodiments and implementations of the claimed subject matters are disclosed herein. However, it shall be understood that the disclosed embodiments and implementations are merely illustrative of the claimed subject matters which may be embodied in various forms. The present disclosure may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the exemplary embodiments and implementations set forth herein. Rather, these exemplary embodiments and implementations are provided so that description of the present disclosure is thorough and complete and will fully convey the scope of the present disclosure to those skilled in the art. In the description below, details of well-known features and techniques may be omitted to avoid unnecessarily obscuring the presented embodiments and implementations. Overview

[0022] Implementations in accordance with the present disclosure relate to various techniques, methods, schemes and / or solutions pertaining to confirming support status of UE aggregation capability between a UE and a network node in mobile communications. According to the present disclosure, a number of possible solutions may be implemented separately or jointly. That is, although these possible solutions may be described below separately, two or more of these possible solutions may be implemented in one combination or another.

[0023] FIG. 1 illustrates an example scenario 100 of a mobile communications network to implement UE aggregation in accordance with implementations of the present disclosure. Scenario 100 involves at least a primary UE, a collaborating UE and a network node, which may be a part of a wireless communication network (e.g., an LTE network, a 5G / NR network, an IoT network or a 6G network) . Scenario 100 illustrates the framework of data forwarding operation in a communication system. The primary UE and the collaborating UE may connect to the network side. The network side may comprise one or more than one network nodes.

[0024] In some embodiments, the primary UE may increase its data rate by enabling UE aggregation to transmit / receive data to / from the network node via the collaborating UE. Specifically, the primary UE may transmit data to the network node through a direct communication. When UE aggregation capability is enabled, the primary UE may further establish an indirect communication with the network node via the collaborating UE. Therefore, the primary UE may also transmit data to the network node via the indirect communication by the aid of the collaborating UE.

[0025] In FIG. 1, the direct communication is represented by a solid line, and the indirect communication is represented by a dashed and dotted line. In some implementations, the direct communication between the primary UE and the network node may include a 3GPP connection. In some implementations, the indirect communication may include a non-3GPP (hereinafter referred to as n3) connection (e.g., Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth (BT) connection, etc. ) between the primary UE and the collaborating UE and a 3GPP connection between the collaborating UE and the network node.

[0026] For example, if an application running on the primary UE needs to forward data to the network node with high data rate requirements, the primary UE enables UE aggregation to accelerate the data forwarding process. In such case, the data packets generated by the application are passed to the service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layer so as to assign the appropriate radio bearers based on their Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. The data packets are then passed to the packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer for data routing. The PDCP splits the data packets for different communication paths.

[0027] More specifically, the data packets designated for transmitting through the direct communication (e.g., 3GPP connection) are processed by layers including radio link control (RLC) layer, medium access control (MAC) layer and physical (PHY) layer of the primary UE, and then transmitted through network interface (e.g., Uu interface defined in 3GPP specification) from the primary UE to the network node. In addition, the data packets designated for transmitting through the indirect communication via the collaborating UE are adapted and processed by the protocol layers of the n3 connection (e.g., Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth (BT) connection, etc. ) .

[0028] After the collaborating UE receives the data packets through the indirect communication (e.g., n3 connection) from the primary UE, the collaborating UE processes the data packets by related layers including the n3 connection layers, RLC layer, MAC layer and PHY layer so that the data packets are transmitted to the network node through the direct communication (e.g., 3GPP connection) between the collaborating UE and the network node. As a result, the network node receives data packets from both the primary UE and the collaborating UE through the 3GPP connections. The data packets are processed through related layers including PHY layer, MAC layer, RLC layer and PDCP layer of the network node.

[0029] It should be noted that, in FIG. 1, uplink (UL) data forwarding of UE aggregation is presented. However, it is not intended to limit the data transmission direction. In addition to the UL data forwarding, UE aggregation may be applied for downlink (DL) data transmission. In such case, the primary UE may receive data from the network node through both the direct communication with the network node and the indirect communication via the collaborating UE.

[0030] While some UEs may support UE aggregation for both UL data and DL data, some other UEs may support only one of UL data or DL data, or may not support UE aggregation at all. Likewise, while some network nodes may support UE aggregation, some may not. Therefore, it may be crucial for the UE and the network node to verify their support for UE aggregation and confirm the specific type of UE aggregation they may support with each other before initiating the UE aggregation.

[0031] In view of above, the present disclosure proposes some schemes pertaining to confirming support status of UE aggregation capability with respect to UE and network apparatus in mobile communications. According to the schemes of the present disclosure, the network node may transmit a first message including a first indication to the UE with the first indication indicating whether the network node supports UE aggregation. The network node may also receive a second message including a second indication from the UE with the second indication indicating whether the UE supports UE aggregation.

[0032] In some embodiments, from the network node's perspective, several schemes for confirming the support status of UE aggregation capability may be proposed.

[0033] In some implementations, the first message may be a system information block (SIB) message that is usually broadcasted when engaging the UE for initiating a radio resource control (RRC) connection. In some implementations, the first message may include an RRC setup message in response to an RRC setup request transmitted by the UE for initiating an RRC connection. In some implementations, the first message may include an RRC reconfiguration message that is transmitted to reconfigure the established RRC connection.

[0034] Specifically, the first indication included in the first message may include an enumerated field which indicates whether the network node supports UE aggregation. For example, a bit ‘1’ of the first indication may indicate that the network node supports the UE aggregation, and a bit ‘0’ of the first indication may indicate that the network node does not support the UE aggregation. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.

[0035] In some embodiments, from the UE's perspective, several schemes for confirming the support status of UE aggregation capability may be proposed.

[0036] In some implementations, the second message may include a UE capability information message in response to the UE capability enquiry transmitted by the network node during the setup of the RRC connection.

[0037] In some implementations, the second message may include a UE assistance information message used for providing additional details used to optimize network operations after the UE enters the connected mode.

[0038] Specifically, the second indication included in the second message may include Boolean types of parameters (e.g., ul-UE-aggregation-r18 / ul-multipathRelay-n3c-r18, and dl-UE-aggregation-r18 / dl-mltipathRelay-n3c-r18 defined in 3GPP specification) that indicate whether the UE supports UL / DL UE aggregation.

[0039] In some implementations, after the UE establishes a connection with another UE (e.g., the collaborating UE) for UE aggregation, the primary UE may record the maximum supported transmission and reception data rates of the connection (e.g., n3 connection) with the collaborating UE, and include such information in the second message to the network node. In other words, the second message that the UE transmitted to the network node may indicate not only the specific type of UE aggregation (e.g., uplink and / or downlink) the UE may support, but also the maximum transmission and reception data rates of the connection between the primary UE and the collaborating UE, thereby allowing the network node and the primary UE to perform UE aggregation with better efficiency.

[0040] In some implementations, instead of including the information of the maximum transmission and reception data rates in the second message, the primary UE may further transmit a third message to include such information. For example, the primary UE may include the information that indicates the specific type of UE aggregation the UE supports in the UE capability information message and include the information that indicates the maximum transmission and reception data rates in the UE assistance information message.

[0041] FIG. 2 illustrates an example scenario 200 under schemes in accordance with implementations of the present disclosure. Scenario 200 involves at least a primary UE, a collaborative UE and a network node, which may be a part of a wireless communication network (e.g., an LTE network, a 5G / NR network, an IoT network or a 6G network) . Scenario 200 illustrates the signaling flow of data transmitting operation.

[0042] In some embodiments, the primary UE may communicate with the network node via an Uu interface and communicate with the collaborating UE via a n3 interface, and the collaborating UE may also communicate with the network node via an Uu interface.

[0043] In step 201, the network node may broadcast a SIB message to the primary UE to provide the network information for initial communication. The network node may include the support status of UE aggregation capability of the network node in the SIB message. The primary UE may receive the SIB message and obtain the support status of UE aggregation capability of the network node.

[0044] In some cases, the SIB message may include an enumerated field that indicates whether the network node supports UE aggregation or not. For example, when the network node supports UE aggregation for both UL data and DL data, the enumerated filed includes one bit for indicating its support status (e.g., bit ‘1’ indicates that the network node supports UE aggregation for data forwarding of both directions and bit ‘0’ indicates that the network node does not support UE aggregation at all) . However, it is not limited thereto. In some cases, if the network node supports only one of UL data or DL data, the enumerated field may include more bits to indicate such information in the SIB message.

[0045] In step 202, the primary UE may store the support status of UE aggregation capability of the network node to its memory. If the first message indicates that the network node supports UE aggregation and the primary UE supports UE aggregation, the primary UE may enable UE aggregation in step 203. After the UE aggregation is enabled, the primary UE may start data transmission in step 204, and trigger an n3 connection detection for searching potential collaborating UEs nearby in step 205.

[0046] Once the primary UE detects a suitable collaborating UE, the primary UE may establish an n3 connection with the selected collaborating UE and the collaborating UE may establish the RRC connection with the network node in step 206. Specifically, the primary UE and the collaborating UE may setup the n3 connection in step 2061, and then the collaborating UE may establish the RRC connection with the network node in step 2062. After the RRC connection between the collaborating UE and the network node is established, the collaborating UE may transmit collaborating UE information (e.g., n3c-RelayUE-InfoList-r18 defined in 3GPP specification) to the primary UE in step 2063, thereby allowing the primary UE to manage the UE aggregation with the collaborating UE and report the collaborating UE information to the network node.

[0047] In the event of setting up the n3 connection with the collaborating UE, the primary UE may set up the RRC connection with the network node in step 207. For example, the primary UE and the network node may start the setup flow in step 2071, and the network node may transmit a UE capability enquiry to the primary UE in step 2072 after the RRC connection is initiated. In response, the primary UE may transmit the UE capability information to the network node in step 2073.

[0048] In some cases, the primary UE may include the indication of the specific type of UE aggregation the primary UE supports in the UE capability information message. Specifically, the primary UE may indicate that the primary UE supports UE aggregation for UL data, DL data forwarding or both. After the RRC connection is established, the RRC reconfiguration between the primary UE and the network node may be processed in step 2074 so as to optimize the quality of the connection. Once the RRC connection is established and reconfigured, the primary UE may start to transfer data through the Uu interface between the primary UE and the network node in step 2075.

[0049] In some implementations, steps 206 and 207 may be performed in parallel. However, it is not limited thereto. In some implementations, step 206 may be performed before step 207. In some implementations, step 207 may be performed before step 206.

[0050] After the RRC connections and the n3 connection are established in steps 206 and 207, the primary UE may further transmit a UE assistance information to the network node in step 208. In some implementations, the primary UE may include the information of the maximum transmission and reception data rates of the n3 connection between the primary UE and the collaborating UE in the UE assistance information message so as to optimize the UE aggregation.

[0051] Specifically, after the network node receives the UE capability related information, the reconfiguration flow between the network node and the primary UE and the reconfiguration flow between the network node and the collaborating UE may be processed in steps 209 and 210, thereby establishing the indirect communication between the primary UE and the network node via the collaborating UE. Therefore, in step 211, the primary UE may transfer data to or receive data from the collaborating UE through the n3 connection, and in step 212, the collaborating UE can forward data from the primary UE to the network node, or receive data from the network note and then forward it to the primary device.

[0052] FIG. 3 illustrates an example scenario 300 under schemes in accordance with implementations of the present disclosure. Scenario 300 involves at least a primary UE, a collaborative UE and a network node, which may be a part of a wireless communication network (e.g., an LTE network, a 5G / NR network, an IoT network or a 6G network) . Scenario 300 illustrates the signaling flow of data transmitting operation.

[0053] In step 301, the primary UE may enable UE aggregation. In step 302, the primary UE may start data transmission. In step 303, scenario 300 may allow the primary UE to initiate an RRC connection with the network node. In response, the network node may transmit an RRC setup message to the primary UE for establishing the RRC connection in step 304. In some cases, the network node may include the support status of UE aggregation capability of the network node in the RRC setup message.

[0054] Furthermore, in step 305, the network node may further transmit a UE capability enquiry to the primary UE after the RRC connection is initiated. In response, the primary UE may transmit the UE capability information to the network node in step 306. In some cases, the primary UE may include the indication of the specific type of UE aggregation the primary UE supports in the UE capability information message. Specifically, the primary UE may indicate that the primary UE supports UE aggregation for UL data, DL data or both in the UE capability information message.

[0055] In step 307, the primary UE may trigger an n3 connection detection for searching potential collaborating UEs nearby if the network node supports the UE aggregation. Once the primary UE detects a suitable collaborating UE, the primary UE may establish an n3 connection with the selected collaborating UE and the collaborating UE may establish the RRC connection with the network node in step 308. Specifically, the primary UE and the collaborating UE may setup the n3 connection in step 3081, and then the collaborating UE may establish the RRC connection with the network node in step 3082. After the RRC connection between the collaborating UE and the network node is established, the collaborating UE may transmit collaborating UE information (e.g., n3c-RelayUE-InfoList-r18 defined in 3GPP specification) to the primary UE in step 3083, thereby allowing the primary UE to manage the UE aggregation with the collaborating UE and report the collaborating UE information to the network node.

[0056] In addition, after the network node receives the UE capability information message including the indication of the specific type of UE aggregation that the primary UE supports, the direct communication between the primary UE and the network node is established for data transferring in step 309. Specifically, the RRC reconfiguration between the primary UE and the network node may be processed in step 3091 so as to optimize the quality of the connection, and the primary UE may start to transfer data through an Uu interface between the primary UE and the network node in step 3092.

[0057] In some implementations, steps 308 and 309 may be performed in parallel. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In some implementations, step 308 may be performed before step 309, and in some implementations, step 309 may be performed before step 308.

[0058] After the RRC connections and the n3 connection are established in steps 308 and 309, the primary UE may further transmit a UE assistance information to the network node in step 310. In some implementations, the primary UE may include the information of the maximum transmission and reception data rates of the n3 connection between the primary UE and the collaborating UE in the UE assistance information message so as to optimize the UE aggregation.

[0059] Specifically, after the network node receives the UE capability related information, the reconfiguration flow between the network node and the collaborating UE may be processed in step 311, and the reconfiguration flow between the network node and the primary UE may be processed in step 312. As a result, the indirect communication between the primary UE and the network node via the collaborating UE may be established. Therefore, in step 313, the primary UE may transfer data to or receive data from the collaborating UE through the n3 connection, and in step 314, the collaborating UE may forward data from the primary UE to the network node, or receive data from the network note and then forward it to the primary device.

[0060] FIG. 4 illustrates an example scenario 400 under schemes in accordance with implementations of the present disclosure. Scenario 400 involves at least a primary UE, a collaborative UE and a network node, which may be a part of a wireless communication network (e.g., an LTE network, a 5G / NR network, an IoT network or a 6G network) . Scenario 400 illustrates the signaling flow of data transmitting operation.

[0061] In step 401, the primary UE may enable UE aggregation. In step 402, the primary UE may start data transmission. In step 403, an RRC setup flow between the primary UE and the network node may be processed. After the RRC connection is initiated, the network node may further transmit a UE capability enquiry to the primary UE in step 404. In response, the primary UE may transmit the UE capability information to the network node in step 405.

[0062] In some implementations, the primary UE may include the indication of the specific type of UE aggregation the primary UE supports in the UE capability information message. Specifically, the primary UE may indicate that the primary UE supports UE aggregation for UL data forwarding, DL data forwarding or both in the UE capability information message. It may be noted that, in these implementations, the primary UE may transmit the second message that includes the information of the primary UE support status of UE aggregation to the network node before receiving the first message that includes the information of the network node support status of UE aggregation from the network node.

[0063] In step 406, the RRC reconfiguration between the primary UE and the network node may be processed. In addition, instead of including the support status of UE aggregation capability of the network node in the RRC setup message, the network node may include the network node UE aggregation capability information in the RRC reconfiguration message. As a result, the RRC connection between the primary UE and the network node may be optimized for the UE aggregation, and the primary UE may start to transfer data through the Uu interface in step 407.

[0064] In step 408, the primary UE may trigger the n3 connection detection for searching potential collaborating UEs nearby if the network node supports the UE aggregation. Once the primary UE detects a suitable collaborating UE, the primary UE may establish an n3 connection with the selected collaborating UE in step 409. The collaborating UE may establish the RRC connection with the network node in step 410. After the RRC connection between the collaborating UE and the network node is established, the collaborating UE may transmit collaborating UE information (e.g., n3c-RelayUE-InfoList-r18 defined in 3GPP specification) to the primary UE in step 411, thereby allowing the primary UE to manage the UE aggregation with the collaborating UE and report the collaborating UE information to the network node.

[0065] In step 412, the primary UE may further transmit a UE assistance information to the network node. In some implementations, the primary UE may include the information of the maximum transmission and reception data rates of the n3 connection between the primary UE and the collaborating UE in the UE assistance information message so as to optimize the UE aggregation. Specifically, after the network node receives the UE capability related information, the reconfiguration flow between the network node and the collaborating UE may be processed in step 413 and the reconfiguration flow between the network node and the primary UE may be processed in step 414, thereby establishing the indirect communication between the primary UE and the network node via the collaborating UE. Therefore, in step 415, the primary UE may transfer data to or receive data from the collaborating UE through the n3 connection. In step 416, the collaborating UE may forward data from the primary UE to the network node, or receive data from the network note and then forward it to the primary device. [0093] The herein-described subject matter sometimes illustrates different components contained within, or connected with, different other components. It is to be understood that such depicted architectures are merely examples, and that in fact many other architectures can be implemented which achieve the same functionality. In a conceptual sense, any arrangement of components to achieve the same functionality is effectively "associated" such that the desired functionality is achieved. Hence, any two components herein combined to achieve a particular functionality can be seen as "associated with" each other such that the desired functionality is achieved, irrespective of architectures or intermedial components. Likewise, any two components so associated can also be viewed as being "operably connected" , or "operably coupled" , to each other to achieve the desired functionality, and any two components capable of being so associated can also be viewed as being "operably couplable" , to each other to achieve the desired functionality. Specific examples of operably couplable include but are not limited to physically mateable and / or physically interacting components and / or wirelessly interactable and / or wirelessly interacting components and / or logically interacting and / or logically interactable components.

[0094] Further, with respect to the use of substantially any plural and / or singular terms herein, those having skill in the art can translate from the plural to the singular and / or from the singular to the plural as is appropriate to the context and / or application. The various singular / plural permutations may be expressly set forth herein for sake of clarity.

[0095] Moreover, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that, in general, terms used herein, and especially in the appended claims, e.g., bodies of the appended claims, are generally intended as “open” terms, e.g., the term “including” should be interpreted as “including but not limited to, ” the term “having” should be interpreted as “having at least, ” the term “includes” should be interpreted as “includes but is not limited to, ” etc. It will be further understood by those within the art that if a specific number of an introduced claim recitation is intended, such an intent will be explicitly recited in the claim, and in the absence of such recitation no such intent is present. For example, as an aid to understanding, the following appended claims may contain usage of the introductory phrases "at least one" and "one or more" to introduce claim recitations. However, the use of such phrases should not be construed to imply that the introduction of a claim recitation by the indefinite articles "a" or "an" limits any particular claim containing such introduced claim recitation to implementations containing only one such recitation, even when the same claim includes the introductory phrases "one or more" or "at least one" and indefinite articles such as "a" or "an, " e.g., “a” and / or “an” should be interpreted to mean “at least one” or “one or more; ” the same holds true for the use of definite articles used to introduce claim recitations. In addition, even if a specific number of an introduced claim recitation is explicitly recited, those skilled in the art will recognize that such recitation should be interpreted to mean at least the recited number, e.g., the bare recitation of "two recitations, " without other modifiers, means at least two recitations, or two or more recitations. Furthermore, in those instances where a convention analogous to “at least one of A, B, and C, etc. ” is used, in general such a construction is intended in the sense one having skill in the art would understand the convention, e.g., “a system having at least one of A, B, and C” would include but not be limited to systems that have A alone, B alone, C alone, A and B together, A and C together, B and C together, and / or A, B, and C together, etc. In those instances where a convention analogous to “at least one of A, B, or C, etc. ” is used, in general such a construction is intended in the sense one having skill in the art would understand the convention, e.g., “a system having at least one of A, B, or C” would include but not be limited to systems that have A alone, B alone, C alone, A and B together, A and C together, B and C together, and / or A, B, and C together, etc. It will be further understood by those within the art that virtually any disjunctive word and / or phrase presenting two or more alternative terms, whether in the description, claims, or drawings, should be understood to contemplate the possibilities of including one of the terms, either of the terms, or both terms. For example, the phrase “A or B” will be understood to include the possibilities of “A” or “B” or “A and B. ”

[0096] From the foregoing, it will be appreciated that various implementations of the present disclosure have been described herein for purposes of illustration, and that various modifications may be made without departing from the scope and spirit of the present disclosure. Accordingly, the various implementations disclosed herein are not intended to be limiting, with the true scope and spirit being indicated by the following claims.
