[0008] The present invention provides a hair dye and a hair bleach having a high hair repair effect.Embodiments of the invention

[0009] Embodiments of the present invention will be described below in detail. Note that the scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described herein, and various modifications can be made within a scope that does not depart from the gist of the present invention. Furthermore, when a plurality of upper and lower limit values are listed for a particular parameter, any of these upper and lower limit values can be combined to create a suitable numerical range.

[0010] Hair dye, hair bleach The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention contain glucono-δ-lactone (hereinafter also referred to as "component (A)"), ammonia (hereinafter also referred to as "component (B)"), and an ammonium salt of an acid (hereinafter also referred to as "component (C)").

[0011] <Component (A): Glucono-δ-lactone> The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention contains glucono-δ-lactone as component (A). Component (A) is a component that has a hair repair effect. Therefore, a hair repair effect can be provided to hair dyes and hair bleaches by using component (A). Hereinafter, in this specification, "hair repair effect" will also be referred to simply as "repair effect".

[0012] The amount of component (A) is preferably 0.01 to 10 mass%, more preferably 0.03 to 5 mass%, even more preferably 0.05 to 3 mass%, still more preferably 0.08 to 2.5 mass%, and particularly preferably 0.1 to 1 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach. When the amount of component (A) is within the above range, a higher repair effect can be obtained and the repair effect can be easily maintained. If the amount of component (A) is less than 0.01 mass%, a sufficient repair effect might not be obtained, whereas if the amount exceeds 10 mass%, effects on dyeing such as reduced dyeability and discoloration might occur.

[0013] <Component (B): Ammonia> The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention contains ammonia as component (B). Ammonia as referred to in this specification means 28% aqueous ammonia. The use of component (B) has the advantage of swelling the hair and facilitating component (A) to penetrate into the interior of the hair.

[0014] The amount of component (B) is preferably 0.1 to 20 mass%, more preferably 0.5 to 15 mass%, even more preferably 1 to 10 mass%, still more preferably 1.5 to 8 mass%, and particularly preferably 2 to 5 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach. When the mass ratio is within the above range, a higher repair effect can be obtained and the repair effect can be easily maintained. If the amount of component (B) is less than 0.1 mass%, component (A) might not penetrate sufficiently into the interior of the hair, and a sufficient repair effect might not be obtained. If the amount of component (B) exceeds 20 mass%, component (B) might cause damage to hair or irritation to the scalp.

[0015] In one embodiment of the present invention, the mass ratio of component (A) to component (B) [(A):(B)] is preferably 1:100 to 1:1, more preferably 1:50 to 1:1, even more preferably 1:10 to 1:1, and particularly preferably 1:5 to 1:1. When the mass ratio is within the above range, a higher repair effect can be obtained.

[0016] <Component (C): Ammonium salt of an acid> The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention contains an ammonium salt of an acid as component (C). By using component (B) and component (C) in combination, the effect of component (B) of promoting the penetration of component (A) into the hair by swelling the hair and facilitating the penetration of component (A) into the interior of the hair, while suppressing the adverse effect of component (B) of hair damage caused by component (B) can be obtained. Therefore, by using components (A), (B) and (C) in combination, a high repair effect can be obtained, and the repair effect can be easily maintained.

[0017] Ammonium salts of acids include, for example, ammonium salts of organic acids such as ammonium acetate, ammonium oxalate, ammonium hydrogen oxalate, ammonium benzoate, ammonium citrate, ammonium lactate, ammonium phthalate, ammonium succinate, ammonium tartrate, ammonium aspartate, and combinations thereof; and ammonium salts of inorganic acids such as ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, ammonium hydrogen sulfate, ammonium nitrate, ammonium phosphate, ammonium hydrogen phosphate, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, ammonium carbonate, ammonium hydrogen carbonate, and combinations thereof.

[0018] Among these ammonium salts, component (C) is preferably an ammonium salt of an inorganic acid, more preferably at least one ammonium salt of an inorganic acid selected from the group consisting of ammonium carbonate, ammonium hydrogen carbonate, ammonium phosphate, ammonium hydrogen phosphate, and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, still more preferably at least one ammonium salt of an inorganic acid selected from the group consisting of ammonium carbonate, ammonium hydrogen carbonate, and ammonium phosphate, particularly preferably at least one ammonium salt of an inorganic acid selected from the group consisting of ammonium hydrogen carbonate and ammonium phosphate, and particularly preferably ammonium hydrogen carbonate.

[0019] Component (C) is an ammonium salt of an acid having a molecular weight of 250 g / mol or less, which is incorporated as an alkaline component. The molecular weight of the ammonium salt of an acid, component (C), is preferably from 30 to 200 g / mol, more preferably from 50 to 150 g / mol.

[0020] The amount of component (C) is preferably 0.1 to 10 mass%, more preferably 0.3 to 8 mass%, even more preferably 0.5 to 6 mass%, still more preferably 0.8 to 5 mass%, and particularly preferably 1 to 3 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach. When the mass ratio is within the above range, a higher repair effect can be obtained and the repair effect can be easily maintained. If the amount of component (C) is less than 0.1 mass%, hair damage caused by component (B) cannot be sufficiently suppressed, and a sufficient repair effect might not be obtained. If the amount of component (C) exceeds 10 mass%, the pH of the hair dye or hair bleach decreases, and obtaining the desired hair dyeing effect might be difficult.

[0021] In one embodiment of the present invention, the mass ratio of component (B) to component (C) [(B):(C)] is preferably 10:10 to 10:1, more preferably 10:9 to 10:2, even more preferably 10:8 to 10:3, still more preferably 10:7 to 10:4, and particularly preferably 10:6 to 10:5. When the mass ratio of component (B) to component (C) is within the above range, a higher repair effect can be obtained and the repair effect can be easily maintained. If the mass ratio exceeds 10:1, or in other words, if the amount of component (B) is too large relative to component (C), component (B) might damage hair, resulting in insufficient repair effect or irritation to the scalp. Furthermore, if the mass ratio is less than 10:10, or in other words, if the amount of component (C) is too high compared to component (B), the pH of the hair dye or hair bleach will decrease, and the desired hair dyeing effect might not be obtained.

[0022] The total amount of component (B) and component (C) is preferably 0.2 to 30 mass%, more preferably 0.5 to 20 mass%, even more preferably 1 to 15 mass%, still more preferably 2 to 10 mass%, particularly preferably 3 to 8 mass%, and especially preferably 3.5 to 7 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach. When the total amount of component (B) and component (C) in the hair dye or hair bleach is less than 0.2 mass%, obtaining the desired hair dyeing and bleaching effects might be difficult. If the total amount exceeds 30 mass%, hair damage or scalp irritation might occur.

[0023] In one embodiment of the present invention, the mass ratio of component (A) to the total amount of components (B) and (C) [(A) / {(B)+(C)}] is preferably 0.005 to 1, more preferably 0.01 to 0.8, and even more preferably 0.1 to 0.7. If the mass ratio is less than 0.005 or exceeds 1, sufficient repair effect might not be obtained.

[0024] <Polyethylene glycol> The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention may further contain polyethylene glycol in addition to the above components (A) to (C). By including polyethylene glycol, a greater hair repair effect can be obtained.

[0025] The number average molecular weight (Mn) of the polyethylene glycol may be, for example, 300 to 3000. From the viewpoint of the repair effect and the maintenance of the repair effect, the value is preferably 450 to 2000, more preferably 470 to 1500, even more preferably 490 to 1000, and particularly preferably 500 to 700. When polyethylene glycol is added in addition to the components (A) to (C), a greater number average molecular weight of the polyethylene glycol added leads to a greater repair effect that can be obtained. Therefore, when the hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention contains polyethylene glycol in addition to components (A) to (C), the number average molecular weight of the polyethylene glycol is preferably not less than the above lower limit, for example, not less than 450. The number average molecular weight of polyethylene glycol can be measured in terms of polystyrene by gel permeation chromatography (GPC).

[0026] The amount of polyethylene glycol is preferably 0.01 mass% or more and less than 3.2 mass%, more preferably 0.1 to 3 mass%, and particularly preferably 0.12 to 2 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach. When the amount of polyethylene glycol is 0.01 mass% or more, a higher repair effect can be obtained. If the amount of polyethylene glycol is more than 3.2 mass%, the desired hair dyeing effect might not be obtained.

[0027] If the hair dye or hair bleach contains polyethylene glycol, the mass ratio of glucono-δ-lactone to polyethylene glycol [(A) / polyethylene glycol] is preferably 0.01 to 10, more preferably 0.1 to 5, and even more preferably 0.2 to 3.

[0028] <Other components> The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention usually contains water. Examples of water include tap water, ion-exchanged water, distilled water, purified water, and natural water, but purified water is preferred. The amount of water can be appropriately adjusted depending on the amount of components other than water, and is preferably 50.0 to 90.0 mass%, more preferably 60.0 to 80.0 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach.

[0029] The hair dye of the present invention generally contains an oxidation dye. Oxidation dyes include oxidation dye precursors such as paraphenylenediamine, and couplers such as 5-aminoorthocresol and resorcinol. The oxidation dye precursors and couplers can be selected depending on the desired hair color. The amount of the oxidation dye precursor and coupler are not particularly limited, but may be, for example, from 0.001 to 2 mass%, and preferably from 0.005 to 1 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach, respectively.

[0030] The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention usually contains an oxidizing component such as hydrogen peroxide. The amount of the oxidizing agent is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, 0.1 to 12 mass%, preferably 0.5 to 6 mass%, and more preferably 1 to 5 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach.

[0031] The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention may contain any optional components other than the aforementioned components, as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired. Examples of optional components include components that are generally blended into hair dyes and hair bleaches, such as surfactants such as cationic surfactants, anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants, oily components, solubilizing agents, water-soluble polymers, pH adjusters, polyhydric alcohols, higher alcohols, hydrocarbons, sugars, plant extracts, stabilizers, moisturizers, herbal medicines, chelating agents, preservatives, antioxidants, cooling agents, antistatic agents, vitamins, proteins, fragrances, antibacterial agents, pigments, solvents and thickeners. These optional components do not include components (A), (B) and (C), and polyethylene glycol.

[0032] In one embodiment of the present invention, the hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention preferably does not contain a disaccharide such as trehalose, from the viewpoint of repair effect. In addition, in one embodiment of the present invention, from the viewpoint of improving the repair effect, the amount of organic acids such as citric acid in the hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention is preferably less than 0.1 mass% based on the total amount of the hair dye or hair bleach, but preferably the hair dye or hair bleach does not contain organic acids such as citric acid.

[0033] <Hair dyes and bleaches> The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention has a high repair effect on hair damaged by dyeing or bleaching, and can maintain this repair effect. In the present specification, being able to maintain the repair effect means, for example, being able to suppress a decrease in hair strength improved by the repair effect.

[0034] In one embodiment of the present invention, the pH of the hair dye or hair bleach is preferably 8 or higher, more preferably 8 to 11, even more preferably 8.5 to 10.5, still more preferably 8.8 to 10, and particularly preferably 9 to 9.8. By adjusting the pH of the hair dye or hair bleach to 8 or higher, the hair swells and component (A) can more easily penetrate into the hair, resulting in a higher repair effect. If the pH of the hair dye or bleach is less than 8, the desired hair dyeing effect might not be obtained. The aforementioned pH of the hair dye composition is the pH at 25°C and can be measured with a pH meter, for example, by a method described in the Examples.

[0035] The hair dye or hair bleach of the present invention may be a one-component type or a two-component type containing a first component and a second component. In the case of a two-component type, the hair dye or hair bleach may be, for example, composed of a first component containing components (A) to (C) and a second component containing an oxidizing component, and the first component containing components (A) to (C) may contain an oxidizing dye.

[0036] If the hair dye or hair bleach is a two-component type, each component contained in the hair dye or hair bleach may be contained in either the first component or the second component. If the hair dye or hair bleach is a two-component type, the amount of each component contained in the hair dye or hair bleach indicates the amount in the mixture of the first and second components. In other words, if the hair dye or hair bleach is a two-component type, the descriptions in this specification regarding the amount of each component relate to the amount in the mixture of the first and second components. If the hair dye or hair bleach is a two-component type, the pH of the hair dye or hair bleach is the pH of a mixture of the first and second components.

[0037] The form of the hair dye or hair bleach is not particularly limited, but examples include liquid, viscous liquid, gel, milky lotion, cream, foam, and the like. Of these, a cream form is preferred from the viewpoint of application properties.

[0038] The hair dye or hair bleach can be applied to the hair using a hair dyeing tool such as a brush. If the hair dye or hair bleach is a two-component type, the first and second components are preferably mixed immediately before use and then the mixture is applied to the hair.

[0039] <<Method of producing hair dye or hair bleach>> The hair dye or hair bleach can be produced by stirring, mixing, heating, dissolving, dispersing, or the like, in a known manner, so long as the aforementioned components are used in the aforementioned amounts as necessary, and thus the production method is not particularly limited.Examples

[0040] The following examples further describe the present invention in detail, but the present invention is not limited by the examples.

[0041] <<Examples and Comparative Examples>> The components were mixed in the proportions shown in Table 1 to prepare a first component and a second component. Next, 5 g of the first component and 5 g of the second component were mixed together to prepare the hair dyes of Examples 1 to 10 and Comparative Examples 1 to 9. The components were mixed in the proportions shown in Table 2 to prepare the hair dyes of Comparative Examples 10 to 12. The prepared hair dye was in cream form. The blending unit of each component in the tables is mass% unless otherwise specified.

[0042] <<Evaluation Method>> <Repair effect> The repair effect was evaluated by the following method. 1. Untreated black Chinese hair (manufactured by Beaulax) was prepared. The hair was bleached according to the following procedure to prepare damaged hair bundle A. (Bleaching treatment): A bleaching agent (Bleach Master P, manufactured by Shiseido Professional Co., Ltd.) was prepared by mixing 15 g of the first component and 30 g of the second component, and was applied to 5 g of untreated black Chinese hair. After application, the bleach was left at room temperature for 30 minutes. After that, the hair bundle was washed with Luminoforce Shampoo (manufactured by Shiseido Professional Co., Ltd.) and air-dried at 25°C and humidity of 50% to obtain hair bundle A. 2. 10 g of hair dye was applied to 1 g of damaged hair bundle A after bleaching, and the hair was dyed. After application of the hair dye, the hair was left at room temperature for 30 minutes. 3. After that, the hair bundle was washed with Luminoforce Shampoo (manufactured by Shiseido Professional Co., Ltd.) and air-dried at 25°C and humidity of 50% to obtain hair bundle B. 4. The tensile strength of the air-dried hair bundle B was measured using a single fiber tensile tester (manufactured by ORIENTEC). The tensile strength was measured according to the following procedure. (Measurement of tensile strength) (1) Tensile test: The diameter of a single hair strand is measured at the measurement site. (2) Both ends of the area were retained and set at the location where the diameter of the one hair strand was measured. (3) While still set, the hair being measured is immersed in water for 1 minute and 30 seconds to break the hydrogen bonds in the hair. (4) While in water, the hair is pulled at a pulling speed of 5 mm / min until the hair breaks (yields). (5) The tensile strength (N) is measured, and the tensile strength per unit area (kgf / mm2) is calculated from the measured value and the diameter measured in (1). 5. After measurement, the difference between the tensile strength of hair bundle B and a reference value tensile strength is calculated, and the repair effect is evaluated according to the following criteria. A larger difference indicates better improvement in tensile strength, which indicates a higher repair effect. (Evaluation Criteria for Repair Effects) A: The difference from the standard value is 0.8 kgf / mm2 or more B: The difference from the standard value is 0.4 kgf / mm2 or more and less than 0.8 kgf / mm2 C: The difference from the standard value is 0.3 kgf / mm2 or more and less than 0.4 kgf / mm2 D: The difference from the standard value is 0.1 kgf / mm2 or more and less than 0.3 kgf / mm2 E: The difference from the standard value is less than 0.1 kgf / mm2

[0043] The degree of damage to hair varies depending on the total amount of component (B) and component (C) which act as alkaline components, as well as the ratio of component (B) to component (C). Therefore, the reference value of tensile strength was set in consideration of components (B) and (C). The comparative example numbers corresponding to the set reference tensile strength values are shown in the table.

[0044] The tensile strength of untreated black hair was 18.08 kgf / mm2. The tensile strength of hair bundle A after bleaching and before dyeing was 16.32 kgf / mm2.

[0045] <Durability of repair effect> Hair bundle B obtained by the method described in <Repair effect> was shampooed 10 times in the following manner to obtain hair bundle C. (Shampooing): The hair bundle was washed with Luminoforce Shampoo (Shiseido Professional Co., Ltd.) and air-dried at 25°C and 50% humidity. The process from washing the hair bundle to air drying was counted as one shampoo treatment. The tensile strength of hair bundle C was measured. The difference in tensile strength from hair bundle B was calculated, and the durability of the repair effect was evaluated according to the following criteria. (Evaluation criteria for durability of repair effect) OK: The tensile strength of hair bundle C is higher than that of hair bundle B, or the tensile strength of hair bundle C is lower than that of hair bundle B, and the difference is less than 0.1 kgf / mm2 NG: The tensile strength of hair bundle C is lower than that of hair bundle B, and the difference is 0.1 kgf / mm2 or more

[0046] <<pH Measurement>> The pH of the hair dye was measured using a pH meter under the following conditions. pH meter: HORIBA "Desktop pH meter LAQUA" Liquid temperature: 25°C

[0047] The evaluation results are shown in Tables 1 to 3 below.

[0048]

[0049]

[0050]

[0051] As shown in Tables 1 and 2, hair treated with the hair dye of the present invention containing glucono-δ-lactone, ammonia, and an ammonium salt of a specific acid had a greater improvement in tensile strength relative to the reference value than hair treated with the hair dye of the comparative examples. Furthermore, as shown in Table 3, the strength of the hair treated with the hair dye of the present invention was maintained with almost no decrease even after shampooing 10 times. Therefore, the hair dye of the present invention has a high hair repair effect and can maintain the repair effect obtained.
