[0034] FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating the configuration of a shopping service providing system (10) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 1, the shopping service providing system (10) may include a user terminal (100) and a service server (200).
[0035] A user terminal (100) may be a computing device used by a user to receive a shopping service from a service server (200). As exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1, the user terminal (100) may include a smartphone (100a), a desktop (100b), a laptop (100c), etc. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the user terminal (100) may be implemented as any device. Hereinafter, when referring to any user terminal (e.g., 100a) or collectively referring to all user terminals (e.g., 100a to 100c), they will all be referred to by the reference numeral 100. The user terminal (100) may also be referred to as a 'client terminal', a 'buyer / purchaser terminal', a 'consumer terminal', etc.
[0036] The service server (200) may refer to a computing device / system that provides a shopping service. For example, the service server (200) may refer to a device / system (e.g., a shopping mall server) that provides an online shopping site. The service server (200) may provide a shopping service for registered products and may provide a page containing detailed information about the product. Furthermore, the service server (200) may provide a page that displays selectable options for each attribute for a product that includes one or more attributes. That is, the detailed information about the product may include, in addition to information about the product itself, price information and delivery information according to the selected option.
[0037] More specifically, the service server (200) can display information on a target product having multiple attributes, each of which includes one or more options, on the user terminal (100). For clarity, the following describes embodiments in which the target product has three attributes (a first attribute, a second attribute, and a third attribute); however, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the following embodiments may also be applied to a target product having more attributes.
[0038] The service server (200) may display selectable options of each of the first attribute, the second attribute, and the third attribute on the user terminal (100). In particular, the service server (200) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may display selectable options of the first attribute as chips, selectable options of the second attribute as tabs, and selectable options of the third attribute as a list. That is, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, selectable options of the first attribute may be displayed on each chip, selectable options of the second attribute may be displayed on each tab, and selectable options of the third attribute may be displayed in a list according to the selected chip and the selected tab. In addition, the list may display the final purchase price according to the selected options of the first attribute, the second attribute, and the third attribute, along with the selectable options of the third attribute. Each time each option is selected, information (e.g., price information and delivery information) of the target product may be updated.
[0039] The first, second, and third attributes may be determined in the order of attributes registered by the seller of the target product. In some embodiments, an image corresponding to the selectable option of the first attribute may be present, and in this case, the corresponding image may be displayed on the chip together with the selectable option of the first attribute.
[0040] Meanwhile, the number of selectable options for the first attribute represented by a chip or the second attribute represented by a tab may be 1. For example, if the number of selectable options for the first attribute is 1, the options for the first attribute may be displayed with text in the form "First attribute: Options" instead of a single chip. Similarly, if the number of selectable options for the second attribute is 1, the options for the second attribute may be displayed with text in the form "Second attribute: Options" instead of a single tab.
[0041] In some embodiments, the third attribute displayed in the list may correspond to the quantity of the target product. In this case, the list may be sorted in ascending order based on the quantity of the target product. Furthermore, in some cases, the number of selectable options for the third attribute may exceed the number of options that can be displayed on a single screen on the user terminal (100). In this case, among the selectable options for the third attribute, the list may typically display the option corresponding to the lowest price, the option corresponding to the lowest unit price, and the option with the highest purchase priority. The remaining options may be confirmed based on the user's selection. This assists the user in selecting the product they wish to purchase.
[0042] The service server (200) may be implemented by at least one computing device. For example, all functions of the service server (200) may be implemented by a single computing device, or a first function of the service server (200) may be implemented by a first computing device, and a second function may be implemented by a second computing device. Alternatively, specific functions of the service server (200) may be implemented by multiple computing devices. For example, the computing devices may include any type of device equipped with a computing means and a communication means.
[0043] The user terminal (100) can also perform various operations / functions to provide the aforementioned shopping service. For example, the shopping service of the service server (200) can be provided through the web browser or application of the user terminal (100). For example, the user terminal (100) can display information on a target product having multiple attributes in conjunction with the service server (200), display selectable options for each of the multiple attributes, and update information on the target product according to the selected option. In particular, the user terminal (100) can provide an interface in conjunction with the service server (200) that can display selectable options for a first attribute as a chip, selectable options for a second attribute as a tab, and selectable options for a third attribute as a list.
[0044] As illustrated in FIG. 1, a user terminal (100) and a service server (200) can communicate via a network. For example, the network can be implemented as any type of wired / wireless network, such as a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN), a mobile radio communication network, or Wibro (Wireless Broadband Internet).
[0045] So far, with reference to FIG. 1, a shopping service provided by a user terminal (100) and a service server (200) according to some embodiments of the present disclosure has been briefly described. Below, a method for providing a shopping service according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, particularly embodiments in which selectable options for each of a plurality of attributes are displayed on a user terminal (100), will be described in detail.
[0046] FIG. 2 exemplarily illustrates a user interface (20) for purchasing a product according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. For example, the user interface (20) may be an application running on a user terminal (100) or a screen displayed on a web browser. Referring to FIG. 2 , the user interface (20) may include an information display area (30) and an option display area (40). The information display area (30) displays information on the product's image, name, price, delivery, etc. The option display area (40) displays selectable options (41, 42, 43) for each product attribute, and a "See More Options" button (44).
[0047] In the case of FIG. 2, the target product is a perfumed sachet, the first attribute is fragrance, the second attribute is weight per unit, and the third attribute is quantity. Accordingly, the option display area (40) displays a chip (41) displaying the first attribute, a tab (42) displaying the second attribute, and a list (43) displaying the third attribute. The chip (41) displays selectable options for the fragrance attribute, such as woody scent, floral scent, and ocean scent, and the floral scent is shown as selected. The tab (42) displays selectable options for the weight per unit attribute, such as 20g and 40g, and 40g is shown as selected. In addition, the list (43) displays selectable options for the quantity attribute, such as 1, 2, 3, and 4, and 3 is shown as selected.
[0048] Accordingly, the information display area (30) additionally displays the selected options, such as "40g Flower Fragrance, 3 units," in addition to the name of the target product. When the user selects the "See More Options" button (44), additional selectable options for the third attribute (quantity attribute) may be displayed. As described with reference to Fig. 1, the options displayed in the list (43) may include the option corresponding to the lowest price, the option corresponding to the lowest unit price, and the option with the highest purchase priority.
[0049] Hereinafter, examples of the option display area (40) will be examined in more detail through FIGS. 3 to 6.
[0050] Fig. 3 illustrates the option display area (40) of Fig. 2 when there is only one selectable option for the first attribute. For example, Fig. 3 illustrates the option display area (40) when the only selectable option for the fragrance attribute is floral scent. Referring to Fig. 3, the selectable option for the fragrance attribute may be displayed as text in the form of "First attribute: Option", such as "Fragrance series: floral scent" (41a), instead of chips. The remaining tabs (42), list (43), and more option button (44) are the same as those described with reference to Fig. 2.
[0051] Fig. 4 illustrates the option display area (40) of Fig. 2 when there is only one selectable option for the second attribute. For example, Fig. 4 illustrates the option display area (40) when there is only one selectable option for the weight per unit attribute, 40g. Referring to Fig. 4, the selectable option for the weight per unit attribute may be displayed as text in the form of "Second attribute: Option", such as "Weight per unit: 40g" (42a), instead of tabs. The remaining chips (41), list (43), and more option button (44) are the same as those described with reference to Fig. 2.
[0052] FIG. 5 illustrates the option display area (40) of FIG. 2 when there is only one selectable option for the first attribute and the second attribute. For example, FIG. 5 illustrates the option display area (40) when the fragrance attribute has only one selectable option, floral fragrance, and the weight per unit attribute has only one selectable option, 40 g. Referring to FIG. 5, the selectable option for the fragrance attribute is displayed as text in the form of "First attribute: Option", such as "Fragrance series: floral fragrance" (41a), instead of chips, and the selectable option for the weight per unit attribute is displayed as text in the form of "Second attribute: Option", such as "Weight per unit: 40 g" (42a), instead of tabs. The remaining list (43) and the More Options button (44) are the same as those described with reference to FIG. 2.
[0053] As described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5, when an attribute has only one selectable option, the selectable option is displayed as text instead of a chip or tab, thereby highlighting the display of the attribute requiring an option selection more than that of the attribute not requiring an option selection. This makes it easier to select an option for an attribute with multiple selectable options.
[0054] Fig. 6 illustrates the option display area (40) of Fig. 2 when there are images corresponding to selectable options of the first attribute. For example, the option display area (40) illustrates a case where there are images corresponding to each of the selectable options of the fragrance attribute (flower scent, soap scent, soft cotton, white musk). Referring to Fig. 6, the corresponding images are displayed on the chip (41b) together with the selectable options of the fragrance attribute. The remaining tabs (42), list (43), and more option button (44) are the same as those described with reference to Fig. 2. By displaying images in this manner, when a user wishes to purchase a target product, he or she can check the images of the target product corresponding to the selectable options together.
[0055] FIG. 7 is a flowchart exemplifying a product option display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. For reference, FIG. 7 illustrates steps / operations of a product option display method performed on a user terminal (100). Therefore, in the following descriptions, if the subject of a specific step / operation is omitted, it can be understood that it is performed on the user terminal (100). However, in an actual environment, some functions / operations of the user terminal (100) may be implemented on the service server (200), and some functions / operations of the service server (200) may be implemented on the user terminal (100). In other words, the subject performing a specific step / operation may vary depending on the implementation method.
[0056] In step S100, information about a target product having first to third attributes may be displayed. As described with reference to FIG. 1, each attribute may include one or more options, and in some cases, the target product may include more attributes. In step S200, selectable options for each of the first, second, and third attributes may be displayed.
[0057] Specifically, in step S210, selectable options of the first attribute may be displayed as chips, in step S220, selectable options of the second attribute may be displayed as tabs, and in step S230, selectable options of the third attribute may be displayed as a list. In some embodiments, the third attribute displayed in the list corresponds to the quantity of the target product, and in this case, the list may be sorted in ascending order by quantity. Next, in step S300, information of the target product may be updated according to the selected options of the first to third attributes.
[0058] FIG. 8 is a flowchart specifically illustrating step (S210) of displaying a chip in FIG. 7. Referring to FIG. 8, in step S210-1, it may be determined whether an image corresponding to a selectable option of the first attribute exists. If it is determined to exist (YES), in step S210-2, an image of the selectable option may be displayed on the chip.
[0059] FIG. 9 is a flowchart exemplifying a method for displaying product options according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Steps S100 and S300 are identical to those described with reference to FIG. 7, and therefore, redundant descriptions will be omitted.
[0060] In step S200, selectable options for each of the first attribute, the second attribute, and the third attribute may be displayed. Specifically, in step S201, it may be determined whether the number of selectable options for the first attribute is 1 or more than 1. In addition, in step S211, it may be determined whether the number of selectable options for the second attribute is 1 or more than 1.
[0061] If the number of selectable options of the first attribute is 1 (No) as a result of the determination in step S201, in step S205, the selectable options of the first attribute may be displayed as text instead of chips (for example, in the form of "First attribute: Option"). On the other hand, if the number of selectable options of the first attribute is 2 or more (Yes), in step S210, the selectable options of the first attribute may be displayed as chips. If the number of selectable options of the second attribute is 1 (No) as a result of the determination in step S211, in step S215, the selectable options of the second attribute may be displayed as text instead of tabs (for example, in the form of "Second attribute: Option"). On the other hand, if the number of selectable options of the second attribute is 2 or more (Yes), in step S220, the selectable options of the second attribute may be displayed as tabs.
