[0030] FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating the configuration of a shopping service providing system (10) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 1, the shopping service providing system (10) may include a user terminal (100) and a service server (200).

[0031] A user terminal (100) may be a computing device used by a user to receive a shopping service from a service server (200). As exemplarily illustrated in FIG. 1, the user terminal (100) may include a smartphone (100a), a desktop (100b), a laptop (100c), etc. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the user terminal (100) may be implemented as any device. Hereinafter, when referring to any user terminal (e.g., 100a) or collectively referring to all user terminals (e.g., 100a to 100c), they will all be referred to by the reference numeral 100. The user terminal (100) may also be referred to as a 'client terminal', a 'buyer / purchaser terminal', a 'consumer terminal', etc.

[0032] The service server (200) may refer to a computing device / system that provides a shopping service. For example, the service server (200) may refer to a device / system (e.g., a shopping mall server) that provides an online shopping site. The service server (200) may provide a shopping service for registered products and may provide a page containing detailed information about the product. Furthermore, the service server (200) may provide a page that displays selectable options for each attribute for a product that includes one or more attributes. That is, the detailed information about the product may include, in addition to information about the product itself, price information and delivery information according to the selected option.

[0033] More specifically, the service server (200) can display information on a target product having multiple attributes, each of which includes one or more options, on the user terminal (100). The service server (200) can display selectable options for each of the multiple attributes on the user terminal (100). The service server (200) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure can simultaneously display a combination of selectable options for one attribute among the multiple attributes and selectable options for the remaining attributes. In this case, the method by which the service server (200) displays selectable options for each attribute can be based on the first mode or the second mode.

[0034] In the first mode, the service server (200) can display selectable options of a first attribute among multiple attributes as tabs, and display a list of combinations of selectable options of the remaining attributes excluding the first attribute displayed on the tabs. For example, if the target product includes three attributes, namely, the first to third attributes, then according to the first mode, selectable options of the first attribute may be displayed on tabs, and combinations of selectable options of the second and third attributes may be displayed on a list. If the target product additionally includes a fourth attribute, combinations of selectable options of the second, third, and fourth attributes may be displayed on a list. The user interface according to the first mode will be described below with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3.

[0035] Unlike the first mode, in the second mode, the service server (200) can display selectable options of the second attribute among multiple attributes as a list, and display combinations of selectable options of the remaining attributes excluding the second attribute displayed in the list as tabs. As mentioned above as an example, if the target product includes three attributes, namely the first attribute to the third attribute, according to the second mode, selectable options of the second attribute are displayed in the list, and combinations of selectable options of the first attribute and the third attribute can be displayed in the list. If the target product additionally includes a fourth attribute, combinations of selectable options of the first attribute, the third attribute, and the fourth attribute can be displayed in the list. The user interface according to the second mode is described below with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5.

[0036] That is, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, one of the tabs or lists may display selectable options for one attribute among a plurality of attributes, and the other may display a combination of selectable options for the remaining attributes. Furthermore, the list may display a final purchase price based on the selected option among the plurality of attributes, along with the selectable options (second mode) or the combination of selectable options (first mode). Each time an option is selected, information about the target product (e.g., price information and shipping information) may be updated.

[0037] In some embodiments, one of the attributes displayed in the list may correspond to the quantity of the target product. Specifically, in the first mode, one of the attributes displayed in the list (e.g., the second attribute) may correspond to the quantity of the target product, and in the second mode, the second attribute displayed in the list may correspond to the quantity of the target product. In this case, the list may be sorted in ascending order based on the quantity of the target product.

[0038] Additionally, in some cases, the number of selectable options displayed in the list (second mode) or the number of selectable combinations of options (first mode) may be greater than the number of options or combinations of options that can be displayed on a single screen on the user terminal (100). In this case, the list may typically display the option (or combination of options) corresponding to the lowest price, the option (or combination of options) corresponding to the lowest unit price, and the option (or combination of options) with the highest purchase priority, and the remaining options (or combinations of options) may be confirmed based on the user's selection. This helps the user select the product they wish to purchase.

[0039] Meanwhile, the service server (200) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may determine whether to display the options of a target product in the first mode or the second mode based on the activities of multiple users using the shopping service. For example, the user activities may include whether the user ultimately purchased the target product. In some embodiments, the service server (200) may display the options of the target product in the first mode to some users for a certain period of time, and may display the options of the target product in the second mode to other users. After the certain period of time has elapsed, the service server (200) may obtain and compare the number of multiple users who purchased the target product when the options of the target product were displayed in the first mode (hereinafter, the number of the first plurality of users) with the number of multiple users who purchased the target product when the options of the target product were displayed in the second mode (hereinafter, the number of the second plurality of users).

[0040] If the number of first plurality of users acquired for the target product is greater than the number of second plurality of users, the service server (200) may display the options of the target product according to the first mode. Conversely, if the number of second plurality of users acquired for the target product is greater than the number of first plurality of users, the service server (200) may display the options of the target product according to the second mode. In this way, the service server (200) according to the embodiment of the present disclosure may provide users with an optimal shopping service for each target product.

[0041] The service server (200) may be implemented by at least one computing device. For example, all functions of the service server (200) may be implemented by a single computing device, or a first function of the service server (200) may be implemented by a first computing device, and a second function may be implemented by a second computing device. Alternatively, specific functions of the service server (200) may be implemented by multiple computing devices. For example, the computing devices may include any type of device equipped with a computing means and a communication means.

[0042] The user terminal (100) can also perform various operations / functions to provide the aforementioned shopping service. For example, the shopping service of the service server (200) can be provided through the web browser or application of the user terminal (100). For example, the user terminal (100) can display selectable options for each of the multiple attributes of a target product having multiple attributes according to either the first or second mode described above. In addition, the user terminal (100) can, in conjunction with the service server (200), identify the activities of multiple users using the shopping service and determine whether to display the options of the target product according to the first or second mode, and provide an interface accordingly.

[0043] As illustrated in FIG. 1, a user terminal (100) and a service server (200) can communicate via a network. For example, the network can be implemented as any type of wired / wireless network, such as a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN), a mobile radio communication network, or Wibro (Wireless Broadband Internet).
