Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] Automatic fire extinguishing system

[0003] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The invention, as the title of this specification states, is an automatic fire extinguishing system. This is an innovation that, within current technology, offers previously unknown advantages.

[0005] TECHNICAL SECTOR

[0006] The present invention falls within the field of everyday life needs in rescue, fire fighting, specifically in prevention, limitation or extinguishing of fires specially adapted for particular objects or places, as well as in vehicles, for example, road vehicles, in airplanes, in ships and even in electrical installations.

[0007] STATE OF THE ART

[0008] The present invention arises from the extremely uncomfortable, cumbersome and stressful experiences that occur when there is a fire in a means of transportation, such as, for example, in a vehicle.

[0009] This is because in critical situations, such as being trapped in the vehicle with the seat belt locked or even unconscious, the action of getting out of the vehicle, searching for and using the fire extinguisher is often completely useless and unsafe.

[0010] Accordingly, this invention presents an automatic fire extinguishing system that uses advanced sensors to detect any signs of smoke or fire inside or around the vehicle or location where they are located, reacting immediately and providing an instant response.

[0011] Currently, the existence of any automatic fire extinguishing system that has structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal to or similar to those described in this specification, as claimed, is unknown. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0012] The object of the present invention is the creation of an automatic fire extinguishing system that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description.

[0013] The present invention relates to an automatic fire extinguishing system, which includes sensors that are associated with at least one initiating element that triggers the action of at least one of the extinguishers installed in a means of transport to extinguish the fire therein automatically, in response to a smoke or fire detection signal from the sensors.

[0014] This innovation solves the uncomfortable, cumbersome, and stressful emergency situations that arise when there is a fire in a vehicle, such as a vehicle.

[0015] This system is extremely useful, as it guarantees immediate assistance and an automatic response in the event of a fire, minimizing the need for intervention by those involved in extremely adverse conditions that could put their own lives at risk.

[0016] The system is equipped with wide-range smoke and fire detection sensors that use advanced technology to activate the initiating element.

[0017] This initiating element is an activation mechanism such as a control circuit configured to activate one or more fire extinguishers that, upon receiving the signal from sensors in specific areas of the means of transport where they are located, such as in a vehicle, operate quickly to extinguish the fire.

[0018] Fire extinguishers have a small footprint and feature valves, sprinklers, or nozzles to release, project, and direct the extinguishing agent onto the smoke or fire. This arrangement ensures controlled and precise distribution of the fire suppressant, quickly extinguishing the flames before they even spread. Additionally, the initiating element includes a communication module programmed to send an alert to an external device or trigger an alarm on the vehicle itself in response to the activation of at least one of the sensors.

[0019] To use this system, fire extinguishers with sensors must first be installed in strategic locations most prone to fire on the vehicle, such as on the engine, near electrical installations, the exhaust system, the fuel system, and other critical areas that may be prone to fire.

[0020] Finally, the appropriate interconnections between the sensors, extinguishers, and the initiating element must be established to ensure that the extinguishers are activated quickly and accurately if a fire is detected in the vehicle, guaranteeing immediate and timely response to the emergency.

[0021] EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES

[0022] To complete the description being made and in order to help better understand the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is attached, as an integral part thereof, with a figure in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented.

[0023] Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the installation of the automatic fire extinguishing system in a vehicle.

[0024] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION.

[0025] The automatic fire extinguishing system comprises sensors (1) that are associated with at least one initiating element (2) that triggers the action of at least one extinguisher (3) installed in a means of transport, building or premises to automatically extinguish the fire that occurs therein, in response to a smoke or fire detection signal from the sensors (1).

[0026] That is, the system can be installed in all types of locations, such as vehicles, premises, homes, terraces, kitchens, etc. It is applicable in means of transport such as a vehicle, aircraft or even a ship. In a preferred embodiment, the sensors (1) have a wide range of smoke and fire detection using advanced technology for optical, thermal detection or a combination of both.

[0027] In another preferred embodiment, the initiating element (2) is an activation mechanism, such as a control circuit configured to activate one or more fire extinguishers (3) in correspondence with the activated sensors (1).

[0028] This arrangement allows the initiating element (2), upon receiving the signal from the sensors in specific areas, to initiate the operation of one or more extinguishers (3) located in those same areas to extinguish the fire quickly, effectively and accurately.

[0029] Preferably, the fire extinguishers (3) have a small cylindrical structure that has at least one valve, sprinkler or nozzle that releases, projects and directs the extinguishing agent they contain onto the smoke or fire.

[0030] This ensures controlled and precise distribution of the fire suppressant, quickly extinguishing flames before they even spread.

[0031] Preferably, the fire extinguishers (3) have shapes such as capsules made of a resistant material to contain the extinguishing agent, which break to release the contents in response to the signal emitted by the sensors (1).

[0032] Typically, fire extinguishers (3) have adequate capacities to contain the quantity and / or type of extinguishing agent according to the area where they are intended.

[0033] Generally, the initiating element (2) includes a communication module configured to send an alert to an external device or activate an alarm in the vehicle itself in response to the activation of at least one of the sensors (1).

[0034] Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to explain it further so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages derived from it, stating that, within its essence, it may be put into practice in other embodiments that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example, and to which it will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
