[0014] The position sensor 5 detects the position of the work machine 2. The position sensor 5 detects the position of the work machine 2 using a global navigation satellite system (GNSS). The global navigation satellite system includes a global positioning system (GPS). The global navigation satellite system detects the absolute position of the work machine 2, which is defined by coordinate data of latitude, longitude, and altitude. The global navigation satellite system detects the position of the work machine 2, which is defined in a global coordinate system. The global coordinate system is a coordinate system fixed to the Earth. The position sensor 5 includes a GNSS receiver, and detects the absolute position (coordinates) of the work machine 2.

As shown in Fig. 3, the certification information includes at least one of a certification number and a certification mark. Note that in Fig. 3, the certification information in Japan is called a technical conformity mark, the certification information in the United States is called an FCC mark, and the certification information in Europe is called a CE mark.

[0026] Requirements for displaying the authentication information include displaying the authentication information on the device 6, displaying the authentication information in a user manual for the device 6, and displaying the authentication information on the packaging for the device 6. When the device 6 is authenticated, for example, a label containing the authentication information is affixed to the device 6, or the authentication information is printed on both the user manual and the packaging.

[0027] There are cases where the authentication information of the device 6 mounted on the work machine 2 needs to be checked. For example, there are cases where the authentication information of the device 6 needs to be checked at the time of customs clearance or at the request of the radio competent authority. If a label with the authentication information is affixed to the device 6, it is not easy to check the label if the device 6 has already been installed in the work machine 2.

[0028] On the other hand, depending on the destination of the work machine 2, electromagnetic display of the authentication information on a display device external to the device 6 may be permitted.

[0029] The authentication information display system 1 displays the authentication information of the device 6 on the display device 11 of the information terminal 3. By displaying the authentication information of the device 6 on the display device 11 of the information terminal 3, it is possible to easily confirm the authentication information of the device 6 and that the device 6 has been authenticated.

[0030] In the following description, a work machine 2 equipped with a device 6 that requires authentication information verification will be referred to as a target work machine 2S, as appropriate.

The identification data of the work machine 2 includes the type of work machine 2, the model of the work machine 2, and the production number of the work machine 2. The terminal controller 12 of the information terminal 3 transmits the identification data of the work machine 2 to the server 7. The identification data acquisition unit 15 acquires the identification data of the work machine 2 transmitted from the information terminal 3.

[0046] The identification data may include at least one of a symbol, code, and nameplate attached to the work machine 2. For example, if a symbol such as a one-dimensional code or two-dimensional code is attached as identification data to the rotating body (car body) of the work machine 2, the user may read the symbol with the camera 10 of the information terminal 3. If a code such as a PIN code (Personal Identification Number) is attached as identification data to the rotating body of the work machine 2, the user may operate the input device 9 of the information terminal 3 to input the code. If a nameplate is attached to the rotating body of the work machine 2 as identification data, the user may operate the input device 9 of the information terminal 3 to input the product unique number written on the nameplate, or may read the nameplate with the camera 10 of the information terminal 3.
