Abstract
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may obtain energy harvesting information associated with an ambient wireless device. The wireless device may further use a coding scheme to generate a communication signal based on the energy harvesting information. The communication signal may also include a set of bits within a set of symbols where the set of bits of the communication signal may be encoded within the set of symbols of the communication signal using the coding scheme and in accordance with a modulation scheme. The wireless device may then transmit the communication signal to the ambient wireless device for energy harvesting.
