[0004] The scope of interest of the present invention is that of compact foldable preassembled displays, to be assembled once they have reached their destination.

[0005] Prior art

[0006] There are in the sector, for the experts who deal with it, a plurality of displays of every shape and material as long as they are suitable for forming pre-assembled displays in manufacture that are supplied "folded" in order to reduce as much as possible the volume or size of transport.

[0007] For example, known in the art is the SMART HUG device that is eco-friendly: monomaterial - made entirely of FSC® certified paper - and without lamination, it has a high level of recyclability guaranteed by the ATICELCA® A Certification and can be recycled in the paper collection, with a waste of less than 10%.

[0008] Typically compact displays such as those of interest for the present invention comprise at least one basic structure comprising in one piece, or glued together, at least one backrest and at least two sides, subsequently glued or fixed in any way suitable for the purpose of the shelves, such shelves may have, as in the cited prior art, fronts for the shelves so as not to drop the contents. In this version of known art there are tie rods to support the shelves, this product has the front of the shelves already mounted in a fixed vertical position with the disadvantage of increasing the size of the packaging for the transport of the display and therefore higher logistics costs of storage and shipping. Furthermore, disadvantageously, this device has a lower support base applied for mere aesthetic purpose, glued on the underside of the sides, with the appearance of a folded box and glued on the underside of the sides and simply includes four tabs to be folded for contact with the floor, it is made of lightweight material not giving support to the display, it does not have a supporting effect compared to the first shelf at the bottom as it is the same shelf on the contrary to help keep the base in position once assembled.

[0012] In light of the above prior art, an object of the present invention is to describe a compact foldable display stand having a greater compactness of the pre-assembled display structure.

[0018] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION These and further objects will be achieved by the innovative folding display stand described by the present invention which comprises at least one rear surface structure comprising at least one backrest to which at least two sides are connected in a foldable manner, said sides being connected to one or more folding shelves, said shelves comprising fronts to contain the contents of said shelves and there are tie rods to support said shelves said display stand being characterized by further comprising fronts that are further foldable with respect to a bottom of said shelves, in particular, each shelf comprising at least one bottom to which a rear flap is connected to glue the shelf to the backrest and on the opposite side said shelf comprises a front F formed at least by a first and a second front surface, a front and a rear one that fold together, on the sides of the bottom of the shelf there are two lateral flaps which include further front flaps adapted to be fitted between said two front surfaces when assembled, this giving solidity to the entire shelf, on the lateral flap is formed a diagonal fold p14 that is arranged at 45 degrees with respect to the bottom, by implementing this fold or by folding the front panel according to this fold, the front panel F is folded to 90 degrees on the bottom of the shelf and also of the side flap, this allowing to close the front panel F on the shelf with consequent compaction of the display shelves in a "closed" phase ready for transport, with consequent savings on the overall size of the packaging, therefore on the space occupied by it in storage, transport and optimizing logistics in general.

[0038] In fig.1 a the rear surface structure 4 of the innovative folding display stand 1 is therefore represented, said rear surface 4 comprises at least three elements, of which at least one backrest 2 and two sides 3 that are composed of a first part 3 "of the side that comprises two surfaces 6 with slots 8, connected to surfaces 6’ comprising lower closure flaps 7 and upper side closure flaps 10, the side is also composed of gluing sides 3’ - laterally connected to the two long sides of the backrest 1 , said sides 3’ comprising surfaces 5 comprising pockets 9 at the same height as the slots 8.

The assembly of the base cover advantageously having a quick coupling thanks to said slot 35 / tab 27 system.

Claims

CLAIMS1. A compact foldable display stand (1 ) comprising at least one rear surface structure (4) comprising at least one backrest (2) to which at least two sides (3) are connected in a foldable manner, said sides being connected to one or more folding shelves, said shelves including fronts to contain the contents of said shelves and there are tie rods (28) to support said shelves said display stand (1 ) being characterized in that said fronts are further foldable with respect to a bottom (17) of said shelves (12,13), each shelf (12) comprising at least one bottom (17) to which a rear flap (16) is connected to glue the shelf to the backrest (2) and on the opposite side said shelf comprises a front (F1 ) formed at least by a first (18) and a second (19) front surface, a front and a rear that fold together, on the sides of the bottom (17) of the shelf there are two lateral flaps (20) that include further front flaps (21 ) suitable to be fitted between said two front surfaces (18,19) when assembled, this giving solidity to the entire shelf (12,13), a diagonal fold (p14) is formed on the lateral flap (20) which is arranged at 45 degrees with respect to the bottom (17), by implementing this fold or by folding the front panel (F) according to this fold, the front panel (F) is folded to 90 degrees on the bottom of the shelf and also the side flap (21 ), this allowing the front panel (F) to be closed on the shelf with consequent compaction of the display shelves in a "closed" phase ready for transport, with savings on the overall size of the packaging, therefore on the space occupied by the same in storage, transport and optimizing logistics in general.

The compact foldable display (1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the shelf (12) when mounted as a bottom shelf (13) of the display, becomes a base shelf that further comprises a base cover body (14) to cover the lower side (40) of the display (1 ) and give it support and stability, said base shelf (13) in this case comprises the same parts described for the shelf (12), such as a shelf bottom (17) and the other parts and further comprises on the lower side of said bottom a gluing surface (24) to connect a basecovering body (14), said base-covering body (14) comprises at least one front surface (25), said front surface (25) includes on a first side a gluing surface (23) suitable for being glued under the shelf on said surface (24), on the opposite side a bottom (26) for the base cover (14) is included, on the two further sides of the front surface base tabs (27) are included, the front surface (25) folded according to folds (P16) is positioned to cover the lower base (40) of the display, hiding it and providing further support to it, the bottom (26) of the base cover, folded according to the fold (p17) restson the support surface of the display reinforcing the ground support of the sides (3) and backrest (2) of the same, the base cover (14) also giving greater lift to the base shelf (13) acting as support and support of the base shelf.

3. Compact foldable display (1 ) according to the preceding claims, wherein said display (1 ) can have any size and a number N of shelves (12).

A method of assembling, closing and installing the display (1 ) according to in the preceding claims, comprising at least the phases of:• construction phase 1 : in which the rear surface structure (4) of the display is mounted, comprising at least one backrest (2) and two sides (3) during production;• construction phase 2: in which the shelves (12,13) are mounted on the rear surface structure (4) by gluing;• construction phase 3: in which the shelves (12,13) are folded to be able to pack the display (1 ) according to folds prepared on the parts of the same;• compact phase 4: in which the sides (3) of the display, once the shelves (12,13) on the backrest (2) have been folded down and the base cover (14) has been folded down, close on themselves for the packaging phase and transport having reduced overall dimensions;• operational phase A: unpacking and opening the sides (3) of the display (1 ) and positioning the tie rods (28) to open the shelves;• operational phase B: opening of the shelves (12) and base shelf (13);• operational phase C: opening and positioning of the base cover (14), assembly finished.

The method of assembling, closing and installing the display (1 ) as in the previous claim, wherein said mounting and closing phases include in detail:• Construction Phase 1 : o the rear surface (4) is included initially in disassembled form, with the backrest (2) and sides (3) disassembled from each other; the two sides (3) are each made up of a first part (3”) of the side which includes a surface (6) with slots (8), it is connected to a further surface or side (6’) comprising lower closing flaps (7) and upper lateral closing flaps (10) said two surfaces (6 and 6’) are connected to each other; the sides (3) each also consist of a further gluing side (3’) having surfaces (5) one for each side, disassembled, which in this phase is connected laterally to the two long sides of the backrest (2) said gluing sides (3’) and said surfaces (5) includingpockets (9) that remain placed at the same height as the slots (8) when mounted; the top part of the backrest (2) includes a rear closure flap (1 1 ); the rear surface structure (4) will be assembled when the sides (3) are assembled by gluing the surface (6’) of both under the sides (3’), in fact you can see the pockets (9) of the surfaces (5) in the assembled rear structure phase; the lower closing flaps (7), once folded, will form base slots (35); the gluing of the sides (3’) and surface (6’) giving greater support to the display;• folding phase of the first construction phase 1 , that is: pre-fold the sides (3), proceed according to folds (p1 and p2) or the fold between the internal surface (6) and external surface (5) of the side (3) bringing the internal surface (6) of the side to overlap the internal surface (5), where in this phase the pockets (9) and the slots (8) are superimposed; subsequently proceed with folds (p3 and p4) by rotating the sides (3) by (90) degrees with respect to the rear surface (4); a fold (p5) is made according to direction (C) with an angle of 180 degrees to bring the rear closing flap (1 1 ) on the rear or front surface; folds (p6) and (p7) instead carry the side closing flaps (10) on the external surface (5) of the side (3), folds (p8) and (p9) close the lateral closing flap (10) on the internal surface of the side, the flap will be fixed here with glue; the backrest (2) is then ready to be connected with the other parts of the foldable display (1 ).• follows the construction phase 2, in which: assembly of shelves (12,13) on the backrest by gluing the flap (16) on gluing areas (15) provided on the backrest (2); between the flap (16) and the bottom (17) of the shelf (12,13) there is a fold (p15) that will allow the entire shelf (12,13) to be folded down towards the backrest (2) or unfolded; assembly of the front panel (F): the surface 19 will be folded with a rotation (E) of 180° according to fold (p1 1 ) in contact with the surface (18) of the front panel (F) of the shelf engaging the tabs (29) in the slots (22) of the shelf; on the sides of the shelf (12) the lateral flaps (20) are folded 90° in the direction (F) according to the fold (p10), this to form the lateral containment of the shelf, at the same time the front flap (21 ) of the shelf (12,13) is folded according to fold (p13) andis fitted between the first front surface (18) and the second front surface (19) of the shelf, this giving solidity to the entire shelf; subsequently, implementing a diagonal fold (p14) on the lateral flap (20) that is arranged 45 degrees from the bottom (17), the reduction of the front panel (F) and the same lateral flap (20) is obtained which therefore rest on the bottom (17) of the shelf, allowing the front panel (F) to be closed at (90) degrees on the shelf, canceling its overall dimensions; o construction phase 3: tie rods (28), are mounted in pre-assembly on the backrest (2), so as to remain positioned under the shelves (12,13); said tie rods (28) are also foldable structures according to fold (p20) and connected by means of the tie rod tabs (30) to the slots (8) included in the internal surface (6) of the side; tie rods are positioned to stop and support the shelves (12) and (13) being as said positioned underneath them and in this phase they are folded on the second fold backrest (P20) together with the shelves (12,13); compact phase 4 follows where the sides (3) of the display, once the shelves (12,13) on the backrest (2) have been folded down and the base cover (14) has been folded down, close on themselves for the packaging phase and transport having minimized overall dimensions.

6. The method of assembling, closing and installing the display (1 ) as per the preceding claim, wherein said operational phases, to obtain an open configuration, comprise at least: operational phase A: it is obtained by moving the sides (3) away from the backrest (2), as shown by arrows, with this movement the deployment of the tie rods (28) is determined, leaving space for the shelves (12,13) to be deployed outwards according to the fold (p15); the tie rods (28) thanks to the fold (p20) can allow the sides (3) to be approached and closed without interfering with the manoeuvre; and in operational phase B in particular: the said shelves (12,13) unfolding as said according to the fold (15), will be orthogonal to the backrest going to rest and support themselves on the tie rod (28) below, the shelf (12,13) in particular has the shelf front surface (18) and the shelf lateral flap (20) folded towards the bottom of the shelf (17), the lateral flap (20) pulling the front panel (F) outwards, the fold p14 will automatically determine the unfolding of thelateral flap (20) by opening the front panel F at 90 degrees to the bottom (17); and in the final operational phase C: the base cover (14) is deployed with respect to the base (40) of the display (1 ), the surface (25), following the fold (p16) will be rotated by 90° in direction F with respect to the bottom (17) of the shelf 13 (therefore appearing vertical to the floor), the bottom (26) will then be folded onto it according to a fold (p17) while tabs (27), connected to the surface (25), will fit into the base slots (35), this making the entire base of the shelf stable; the display, also resting on the base cover (14) has a much greater stability, having 4 stable and robust support surfaces without adding bulk, thus having greater load-bearing capacity and stability, in addition, the shelf (13) is also well supported by the base body (14). this operation makes the entire base (40) of the display stable as well as creating an aesthetically pleasing base thanks to the base cover (14), hiding the base (40) of the display, the base cover reinforcing the entire structure and further locking the sides (3) in an open position, the assembly of the base cover (14) having a quick coupling thanks to said system (slot (35) / tab (27)).
