Abstract
Description
Terminal and communication method
[0001] The present invention relates to a terminal and a communication method in a wireless communication system.
[0002] For NR (New Radio) (also known as "5G"), the successor system to LTE (Long Term Evolution), technologies are being considered that satisfy the requirements of a large-capacity system, high-speed data transmission speed, low latency, simultaneous connection of a large number of terminals, low cost, and low power consumption (for example, Non-Patent Document 1).
[0003] Currently, non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) are being considered, which use non-terrestrial networks such as satellites to provide services to areas that cannot be covered by terrestrial 5G networks, mainly due to cost considerations (e.g., Non-Patent Documents 2 and 3).
[0004] 3GPP TS 38.300 V18.0.0 (2023-12) 3GPP TR 38.821 V16.2.0 (2023-03) Konishi et al., "A Study on Downlink Spectrum Sharing in HAPS Mobile Communication Systems," IEICE General Conference, B-17-1, 2020 3GPP TS 38.211 V18.1.0 (2023-12) 3GPP TSG RAN Meeting #102, RP-234078, December 2023 3GPP TS 38.331 V18.0.0 (2023-12) 3GPP TS 38.214 V18.1.0 (2023-12)
[0005] In actual NTNs, a larger number of beams are used than in TNs. In the current specifications, when an SSB (SS / PBCH Block) is transmitted in a certain beam, it is not assumed that resources overlapping with the SSB in other beams are used for channels or signals.
[0006] The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and has as its object to improve the efficiency of resource use in an NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) or TN (Terrestrial Network).
[0007] According to the disclosed technology, a terminal is provided that has a receiving unit that receives information indicating a specific SSB (SS / PBCH Block) set in a certain cell, and a control unit that determines whether or not downlink reception or uplink transmission overlaps with SSBs included in the specific SSB set among the SSBs transmitted in the certain cell, and determines resources to be used for the downlink reception or uplink transmission.
[0008] According to the disclosed technology, it is possible to improve resource usage efficiency in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) or a terrestrial network (TN).

[0010] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the embodiment described below is an example, and the embodiment to which the present invention is applied is not limited to the following embodiment.
[0011] In the operation of the wireless communication system according to the embodiment of the present invention, existing technology is used as appropriate. However, the existing technology is, for example, the existing LTE, but is not limited to the existing LTE. Furthermore, the term "LTE" used in this specification has a broad meaning including LTE-Advanced and systems subsequent to LTE-Advanced (e.g., NR), unless otherwise specified.
[0012] In addition, in the embodiments of the present invention described below, terms such as SS (Synchronization signal), PSS (Primary SS), SSS (Secondary SS), PBCH (Physical broadcast channel), PRACH (Physical random access channel), PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel), PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel), PUCCH (Physical Uplink Control Channel), and PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel) used in existing LTE are used. This is for convenience of description, and similar signals, functions, etc. may be called by other names. In addition, the above-mentioned terms in NR correspond to NR-SS, NR-PSS, NR-SSS, NR-PBCH, NR-PRACH, NR-PDCCH, NR-PDSCH, NR-PUCCH, NR-PUSCH, etc. However, even if a signal is used in NR, it is not necessarily stated as "NR-".
[0013] Furthermore, in the embodiment of the present invention, the duplex method may be a time division duplex (TDD) method, a frequency division duplex (FDD) method, or another method (for example, flexible duplex, etc.).
[0014] Furthermore, in the embodiments of the present invention, "configuring" radio parameters etc. may mean that predetermined values are pre-configured, or that radio parameters notified from the base station 10 or the terminal 20 are set.
[0015] FIG. 1 shows an example of an NTN (1). A Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) uses non-terrestrial devices, such as satellites, to provide services to areas that cannot be covered by terrestrial 5G networks, primarily due to cost considerations. NTN can also provide more reliable services. For example, it is expected to be applied to IoT (Internet of Things), ships, buses, trains, and critical communications. NTN also has scalability through efficient multicast or broadcast.
[0016] As an example of an NTN, as shown in FIG. 1, a satellite 10A can retransmit signals transmitted from a terrestrial base station 10B to provide service to areas where terrestrial base stations are not located, such as mountainous regions.
[0017] The terrestrial 5G network may have the following configuration. The terrestrial 5G network includes one or more base stations 10 and terminals 20. The base station 10 is a communication device that provides one or more cells and performs wireless communication with the terminals 20. The physical resources of the wireless signal are defined in the time domain and the frequency domain, and the time domain may be defined by the number of OFDM symbols, and the frequency domain may be defined by the number of subcarriers or the number of resource blocks. The base station 10 transmits a synchronization signal and system information to the terminals 20. The synchronization signal is, for example, NR-PSS and NR-SSS. The system information is transmitted, for example, via NR-PBCH, and is also called broadcast information.
[0018] The base station 10 transmits control signals or data to the terminal 20 via DL (Downlink) and receives control signals or data from the terminal 20 via UL (Uplink). Both the base station 10 and the terminal 20 are capable of transmitting and receiving signals by performing beamforming. Furthermore, both the base station 10 and the terminal 20 are capable of applying MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) communication to DL or UL. Furthermore, both the base station 10 and the terminal 20 may communicate via an SCell (Secondary Cell) and a PCell (Primary Cell) using CA (Carrier Aggregation).
[0019] The terminal 20 is a communication device equipped with a wireless communication function, such as a smartphone, a mobile phone, a tablet, a wearable terminal, an M2M (Machine-to-Machine) communication module, etc. The terminal 20 receives control signals or data from the base station 10 via DL and transmits control signals or data to the base station 10 via UL, thereby utilizing various communication services provided by the wireless communication system.
[0020] Figure 2 shows an example of an NTN (2). The area of each cell or beam in an NTN is much larger than that of a terrestrial network (TN). Figure 2 shows an example of an NTN configured with retransmission by satellite. The connection between the satellite 10A and the NTN gateway 10B is called a feeder link, and the connection between the satellite 10A and the UE 20 is called a service link.
[0021] 2, the difference in delay between UE 20A on the near side and UE 20B on the far side is, for example, 10.3 ms in the case of GEO (Geosynchronous Orbit) and 3.2 ms in the case of LEO (Low Earth Orbit). Also, the beam size in NTN is, for example, 3500 km in the case of GEO and 1000 km in the case of LEO.
[0022] FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example (3) of an NTN. As shown in FIG. 3, an NTN is realized by a satellite in space or a flying object in the air. For example, a GEO satellite may be a satellite located at an altitude of 35,786 km and having a geostationary orbit. For example, a LEO satellite may be a satellite located at an altitude of 500-2000 km and orbiting every 88-127 minutes. For example, a HAPS (High Altitude Platform Station) may be a flying object located at an altitude of 8-50 km and performing circular flight.
[0023] As shown in Figure 3, GEO satellites, LEO satellites, and HAPS aircraft may be connected to ground stations (gNBs) via gateways. The service areas may be larger in the order of HAPS, LEO, and GEO.
[0024] For example, NTN can extend the coverage of 5G networks to unserved or served areas. Furthermore, for example, NTN can improve the continuity, availability, and reliability of services on ships, buses, trains, or other critical communications. The NTN may be signaled by transmitting dedicated parameters to the terminal 20, and the dedicated parameters may be, for example, parameters related to determining a timing advance (TA) based on information related to satellites or aircraft.
[0025] Figure 4 is a diagram showing an example of an NTN (4). Figure 4 shows an example of an NTN network architecture assumed in the case of transparent payload. As shown in Figure 4, a CN (Core Network) 10D, a gNB 10C, and a gateway 10B are connected. The gateway 10B is connected to a satellite 10A via a feeder link. The satellite 10A is connected to a terminal 20A or a VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) 20B via a service link. An NR Uu is established between the gNB 10C and the terminal 20A or the VSAT 20B.
[0026] Furthermore, the assumed network architecture of the NTN may employ FDD or may be capable of TDD. Terrestrial cells may be fixed or mobile. The terminal 20 may have the capability to support the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). For example, a power class 3 handheld device may be assumed in FR1. At least in FR2, a VSAT device may be assumed.
[0027] The NTN network architecture may also assume regenerative payloads. For example, gNB functionality may be mounted on a satellite or air vehicle. Alternatively, a gNB-DU may be mounted on a satellite or air vehicle, and a gNB-CU may be deployed as a ground station.
[0028] Figure 5 is a diagram showing an example of an NTN (5). As shown in Figure 5, the TA in the NTN includes a common TA corresponding to the distance from the satellite / HAPS 10A to the reference point (RP) in the feeder link, and a UE-specific TA corresponding to the distance from the satellite / HAPS 10A to the UE 20 in the service link. The TA of the service link is a UE-specific TA and varies depending on the location of the UE 20. Note that the feeder link includes a delay that is transparent to the user and corresponds to the distance from the reference point to the gNB / gateway 10B.
[0029] The reference point for UL synchronization may be determined by the network implementation. For example, the reference point may be any point on the satellite, gNB, GW, or feeder link. At the gNB or GW, the DL and UL time domains may be aligned to facilitate implementation. At the satellite, UE operations related to common TA may not be performed to reduce UE load.
[0030] The TA in NTN may be calculated, for example, as TTA = (NTA + NTA, UE-specific + NTA, common + NTA, offset) x TC (see Non-Patent Document 4).
[0031] NTA is 0 for PRACH and is notified by a TA command by MAC-CE (Medium Access Control - Control Element). NTA may be a closed-loop TA.
[0032] NTA,UE-specific is a TA specific to the UE. NTA,UE-specific may be a value estimated by the UE itself to compensate in advance for the delay of the service link. NTA,UE-specific is calculated based on the UE's position and the celestial orbit of the serving satellite.
[0033] NTA,common is a common TA controlled by the network. Hereinafter, NTA,common is also referred to as common TA. For example, if the reference point is a satellite, a value of 0 is supported. NTA,offset may be a fixed value used for TA calculation defined in the specification.
[0034] Downlink coverage extension in NTNs has been considered (see Non-Patent Document 5). Also, taking into account NTN deployment constraints such as payload power limitations, large satellite footprints, and limited feeder link bandwidth, the downlink coverage provides optimized performance, especially when addressing handset terminals (including smartphones with -5.5 dBi antenna gain).
[0035] DL coverage extension is needed to accommodate satellite payload constraints where limited power and limited feeder link bandwidth may not allow all beams to be activated at a given time with the "nominal" EIRP density (see 3GPP TS 2.0, section 6.1.1) per beam, while maximizing the number of beams that can be activated simultaneously and ensuring that all user terminals across the satellite footprint can be served, while ensuring that all satellite radio cells remain viable even when there is no traffic, allowing new users to join or preventing impact on end-user QoS.
[0036] DL coverage extension is a link level improvement to improve the link margin of selected physical channels to accommodate the reduction in EIRP in FR1-NTN, and link margin improvement for physical channels (e.g., PDSCH and PDCCH) can be considered without affecting the SSB design.
[0037] DL coverage extension also takes system level considerations into account to support efficient dynamic and flexible power sharing between beams or different beam patterns / sizes (i.e., wide or narrow) across the satellite footprint for FR1-NTN and FR2-NTN.
[0038] A beneficial downlink coverage extension is being considered that targets support for additional reference satellite payload parameters covering both Geostationary Orbit (GSO) and non-GSO (NGSO) constellations operating in FR1-NTN or FR2-NTN.
[0039] Assuming power sharing between satellite beams or different satellite beam patterns / sizes (i.e., wide or narrow) across the satellite footprint, additional reference satellite payload parameters are defined whereby satellite beams may not all be active simultaneously or may be active at less than the nominal EIRP density per satellite beam (see 3GPP TS 2.0, section 6.1.1) due to limited power and limited feeder link bandwidth.
[0040] Corresponding power sharing assumptions, required link-level and system-level assessment methods, and associated KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for coverage assessment are defined to enable identification of physical channel / signal and system-level aspects requiring enhancement.
[0041] Consider and, if necessary, identify solutions including link-level extensions for FR1-NTN (e.g., for PDCCH, PDSCH) and / or system-level extensions for FR1-NTN and / or FR2-NTN to enable dynamic and flexible power sharing between satellite beams or between different satellite beam patterns / sizes (i.e., wide or narrow) across the satellite footprint.
[0042] For example, SSB channel enhancement is not considered. For example, in the case of a smartphone in FR1-NTN, the terminal antenna gain is assumed to be -5.5 dBi, the terminal is assumed to be a full-duplex terminal, and at least 2 Rx is considered in the terminal. For example, the NGSO that is given priority may be LEO Set-1 @ 600 km. For example, Rel-18 network energy saving technology should be considered as a baseline in system-level studies.
[0043] In NTN, SIB reception according to the existing NR specifications may not provide sufficient Block Error Rate (BLER) performance, so some extensions may be introduced to extend the coverage of SIB1. For example, coverage extensions of SIB1, SIB19, SIB25, SIB6, SIB7, or any other SIB may be introduced.
[0044] For example, according to the LLS results on PDSCH SIB1 coverage evaluation collected from different sources, it is as follows:
[0045] For PDSCH carrying SIB1 option 1 (payload size 800 bits), it is observed that the required SNR (Signal to noise ratio) is equal to -5.8 dB (14 sources) on average.
[0046] For PDSCH carrying SIB1 option 2 (payload size 1280 bits), it is observed that the required SNR is equal to -3.4 dB (12 sources) on average.
[0047] For parameters LEO 600 km, Set 1-1FR1 and 1-2FR1, 14 sources observed no coverage gap for PDSCH with SIB1 option 1. The coverage margin averages about 3.9 dB compared to a CNR (Carrier-to-Noise Ratio) of −1.9 dB. 12 sources observed no coverage gap for PDSCH with SIB1 option 2. The coverage margin averages about 1.5 dB compared to a CNR of −1.9 dB.
[0048] For parameters LEO 600 km, Set 1-3FR1, 11 sources observed a coverage gap for PDSCH with SIB1 option 1. Compared to a CNR of -9.9 dB, the coverage gap averages about 4.1 dB. One source observed no coverage gap for PDSCH with SIB1 option 1. Compared to a CNR of -9.9 dB, the coverage margin is 3.4 dB. Ten sources observed a coverage gap for PDSCH with SIB1 option 2. Compared to a CNR of -9.9 dB, the coverage gap averages about 6.5 dB.
[0049] Note that some results assumed the combination of SIB1 (SIB1 is repeated within 160 ms), and some results did not assume the combination of SIB1. Note that the above results were obtained independently of the performance of other channels or signals, and do not imply successful reception of other channels or signals before or after detection of the PDSCH carrying SIB1.
[0050] According to the LLS results on PDSCH SIB19 coverage evaluation collected from different sources, the following are found:
[0051] It is observed that the SNR required for the PDSCH carrying SIB19 is equal to -6.9 dB (14 sources) on average. With parameters LEO600 km, Set1-1FR1 and 1-2FR1, 12 sources observed no coverage gap for the PDSCH with SIB19. The coverage margin is about 4.2 dB on average compared to a CNR of -1.9 dB. With parameters LEO600 km, Set1-3FR1, 10 sources observed a coverage gap for the PDSCH with SIB19. The coverage gap is about 3.5 dB on average compared to a CNR of -9.9 dB.
[0052] Note that all the above results did not assume the combination of SIB19. Note that the above results were obtained independently of the performance of other channels or signals, and do not imply successful reception of other channels or signals before or after detection of the PDSCH carrying SIB19.
[0053] The higher layer parameter ssb-PositionsInBurst (see Non-Patent Document 6) is included in SIB1 and / or ServingCellCommon. Note that other parameters may include ssb-PositionsInBurst.
[0054] ssb-PositionsInBurst indicates the time domain positions where SSB is transmitted in the half frame in which SSB is transmitted. It is a bitmap consisting of bits corresponding to the SSB index in ascending order, such as SSB index 0, SSB index 1, .... For example, it may be "11001...". Bit 0 indicates that SSB is not transmitted, and bit 1 indicates that SSB is transmitted.
[0055] Regarding SIB reception, the PDSCH resources allocated to receive SIB1 are not used for SSB. On the other hand, when the PDSCH resources allocated to receive SIBs other than SIB1 overlap with the PRB containing the SSB symbols, the symbols containing the SSB in that PRB cannot be used for SIB reception. PRB and symbol puncturing may be performed.
[0056] If a PDSCH scheduled with SI-RNTI is received and the system information indicator in the DCI is set to 0, the UE shall assume that no SS / PBCH blocks are transmitted in the REs used by the UE for reception of the PDSCH, after puncturing if applicable.
[0057] When receiving a PDSCH scheduled with an SI-RNTI, RA-RNTI, MSGB-RNTI, P-RNTI or TC-RNTI where the system information indicator in the DCI is 1, the UE shall assume SS / PBCH block transmission according to ssb-PositionsInBurst and, if the PDSCH resource allocation overlaps with a PRB containing SS / PBCH block transmission resources, the UE shall assume, after puncturing, if applicable, that the OFDM symbols in which the SS / PBCH blocks are transmitted in the PRB containing the SS / PBCH block transmission resources are not available for PDSCH.
[0058] Operation when SSB overlaps with PDSCH as described above may not be appropriate when multiple SSB beams are simultaneously available on a single satellite.
[0059] The system can use SSB indices from 0 to 64. When 64 beams are used simultaneously, a situation may occur in which beam 0 with SSB index 0 transmits an SSB and beam 1 with SSB index 1 transmits an SIB (e.g., SIB19) in the same slot. Because the beams are different, the time-frequency resources of the SSB and the SIB may overlap. However, due to the overlapping operation described above, the portion of the SIB that overlaps with the SSB cannot be used (e.g., is punctured).
[0060] Fig. 6 is a diagram showing an example of receiving SIB19. As shown in Fig. 6, it is assumed that SIB19 is transmitted in beam A and SSB is transmitted in beam B. Due to the operation during overlap described above, the SIB19 in the portion where the SSB and the time-frequency resource overlap is not received.
[0061] Similarly, the operation below when SSB overlaps with other channels may not be appropriate when multiple SSB beams are available simultaneously on a single satellite.
[0062] For example, operation when SSB overlaps with PDCCH may not be appropriate when multiple SSB beams are available at the same time.
[0063] Regarding monitoring of PDCCH candidates by the UE, when the UE receives ssb-PositionsInBurst in SIB1 and does not receive ssb-PositionsInBurst in ServingCellConfigCommon for the serving cell, and is not monitoring PDCCH candidates in the Type-0-PDCCH CSS Set, and at least one RE for the PDCCH candidate overlaps with at least one RE of a candidate for the SS / PBCH block corresponding to the SS / PBCH block index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst in SIB1, if applicable.
[0064] Regarding monitoring of PDCCH candidates by the UE, when the UE receives ssb-PositionsInBurst in ServingCellConfigCommon for the serving cell and is not monitoring PDCCH candidates in the Type-0-PDCCH CSS Set, and at least one RE for the PDCCH candidate overlaps with at least one RE of the candidate for the SS / PBCH block corresponding to the SS / PBCH block index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst in ServingCellConfigCommon, if applicable, the UE does not need to monitor the PDCCH candidate.
[0065] For example, operation when SSB overlaps with DL or UL data may not be appropriate when multiple SSB beams are available at the same time.
[0066] When receiving a PDSCH scheduled by a PDCCH having a CRC scrambled by a C-RNTI, MCS-C-RNTI, CS-RNTI, G-RNTI, G-CS-RNTI, MCCH-RNTI, multicast-MCCH-RNTI, or a PDSCH having SPS, the REs corresponding to the resources configured or dynamically notified in subsections 5.1.4.1 and 5.1.4.2 of non-patent document 7 are not available for the PDSCH. Furthermore, if the PDSCH resource allocation, after puncturing if applicable, overlaps with a PRB containing SS / PBCH block transmission resources, the UE shall assume SS / PBCH block transmission according to ssb-PositionsInBurst, and the UE shall assume that in the PRB containing SS / PBCH block transmission resources, after puncturing if applicable, the OFDM symbols in which SS / PBCH blocks associated with the same PCI are transmitted are not available for PDSCH.
[0067] When a UE is scheduled for multiple PUSCHs on a serving cell by a DCI, the HARQ process ID indicated by the DCI is applied to the first PUSCH that does not overlap with the DL symbol indicated by tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or, if provided, tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated, or the symbol of the SS / PBCH block having the index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst, and the HARQ process identifier is incremented by 1 for each subsequent PUSCH in the scheduled order, modulo nrofHARQ-ProcessesForPUSCH if nrofHARQ-ProcessesForPUSCH is provided, or modulo nrofHARQ-ProcessesForPUSCH-r17 if nrofHARQ-ProcessesForPUSCH-r17 is provided, or modulo 16 otherwise. If at least one of the symbols indicated by the indexed row of the used resource allocation table within a slot overlaps with a DL symbol signaled by tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or, if provided, tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated, or a symbol of an SS / PBCH block having an index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst, the HARQ process identifier is not incremented for the non-transmitted PUSH.
[0068] If the UE is configured with pusch-TimeDomainAllocationListForMultiPUSCH containing one or more rows of multiple SLIVs for PUSCH on the UL BWP of the serving cell, the UE shall not assume that one or more PUSCH transmissions according to a single DCI format 0_1 are scheduled, each PUSCH transmission overlapping with a DL symbol indicated by tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or, if provided, tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated, or with a symbol of an SS / PBCH block with an index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst.
[0069] For example, the following operation of a RedCap (Reduced Capability) terminal may not be appropriate when multiple SSB beams are simultaneously available.
[0070] For a RedCap half-duplex receiving UE, when AvailableSlotCounting is enabled and K>1 or for a PUSCH transmission with transport block processing across multiple slots scheduled by DCI format 0_1, 0_2 or 0_3 based on the TDRA information field value in DCI format 0_1, 0_2 or 0_3, the UE determines N·K slots for PUSCH transmission of PUSCH repetition type A scheduled by DCI format 0_1, 0_2 or 0_3.
[0071] At least one symbol in the slot indicated by the index row containing the resource allocation table used is at least N symbols from the last symbol of the SS / PBCH block of the index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst. RX-TX ・T C It does not start after the time elapsed or at least N symbols from the first symbol. TX-RX ・T CIf the slot does not end before the time point ... RX-TX is the switching time from receiving to transmitting, and N TX-RX is the switching time from transmission to reception, and T C and may refer to the definition of a unit in the time domain, respectively. TBoMS may refer to a method of generating an uplink TB using multiple slots as one unit and configuring a PUSCH.
[0072] For PUSCH repetition type B, the UE determines invalid symbols for PUSCH repetition type B transmission as follows:
[0073] For RedCap half-duplex receiving UEs in paired spectrum, at least N symbols from the last symbol of the SS / PBCH block at the index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst included in SIB1, or the SS / PBCH block at the index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst included in ServingCellConfigCommon, or the SS / PBCH block at the index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst included in NonCellDefiningSSB, or the set of symbols included in the slot corresponding to the SS / PBCH block configured for L1 beam measurement / reporting for SS / PBCH block reception, or the SS / PBCH block at the index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst included in SSB-MTC-AdditionalPCI associated with the physical cell ID for which the active TCI state for PDCCH or PDSCH applies. RX-TX ・T C It does not start after the time elapsed or at least N symbols from the first symbol. TX-RX ・T C A symbol that does not end before the previous time point is considered to be an invalid symbol for PUSCH recurrence type B.
[0074] For both Type 1 and Type 2 PUSCH transmissions with Configured grant, when K>1, for paired spectrum and SUL band, if AvailableSlotCounting is enabled, and for RedCap half-duplex receiving UEs, the transport block is repeated over N·K slots with the same symbol constellation in each slot.
[0075] At least one symbol in the slot indicated by the index row containing the resource allocation table used is at least N symbols from the last symbol of the SS / PBCH block of the index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst. RX-TX ・T C It does not start after the time elapsed or at least N symbols from the first symbol. TX-RX ・T C If a slot does not finish before the previous N·K slots, it is not counted in the number of N·K slots.
[0076] For paired spectrum and SUL bands, for RedCap half-duplex receiving UEs, the N·K slots for PUSCH transmission with transport block processing across multiple slots according to Type 2 configured grant activated by DCI format 0_1 or 0_2 are determined based on the TDRA information field value included in DCI format 0_1 or 0_2.
[0077] At least one symbol in the slot indicated by the index row containing the resource allocation table used is at least N symbols from the last symbol of the SS / PBCH block of the index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst. RX-TX ・T C It does not start after the time elapsed or at least N symbols from the first symbol. TX-RX ・T C If a slot does not finish before the previous N·K slots, it is not counted in the number of N·K slots.
[0078] When a half-duplex communication UE transmits PUSCH, PUCCH or SRS based on configuration by a higher layer, and when the half-duplex communication UE has been notified of the existence of SS / PBCH blocks by ssb-PositionsInBurst included in SIB1, ServingCellConfigCommon or NonCellDefiningSSB, the half-duplex communication UE shall not transmit the channels or signals shown in 1)-4) below.

[0083] If a half-duplex receiving UE transmits PRACH, PUSCH, PUCCH, or SRS based on the detected DCI format, and if the half-duplex receiving UE is notified of the presence of SS / PBCH blocks in a symbol set in the active DL-BWP by ssb-PositionsInBurst included in SIB1, ServingCellConfigCommon, or NonCellDefiningSSB, the half-duplex receiving UE shall not transmit PUSCH, PUCCH, or PRACH if the transmission overlaps with any symbol in the symbol set, and shall not transmit SRS in the symbol set.
[0084] If a half-duplex receiving UE transmits a PRACH or MsgA PUSCH triggered by higher layers in a symbol set and receives a PDCCH, PDSCH, CSI-RS or DL-PRS, or if the half-duplex receiving UE has been informed by ssb-PositionsInBurst included in SIB1, ServingCellConfigCommon or NonCellDefiningSSB of the presence of an SS / PBCH block in a symbol including any symbol of the symbol set in the active DL-BWP, the half-duplex receiving UE shall select whether to transmit a PRACH or MsgA PUSCH or to receive a PDSCH, CSI-RS, DL-PRS, PDCCH or SS / PBCH block based on the UE implementation.
[0085] If a half-duplex receiving UE receives PDCCH, PDSCH, CSI-RS or DL-PRS based on the configuration of higher layers, or if the half-duplex receiving UE is notified of the presence of SS / PBCH blocks in a symbol set in the active DL-BWP by ssb-PositionsInBurst included in SIB1, ServingCellConfigCommon or NonCellDefiningSSB, and if the ... [0086] Here, "Case A" is defined as a case where DL reception or UL transmission (PUCCH, PUSCH, PRACH, SRS, etc.) and SSB overlap. "Case B" is defined as a case where the gap between DL reception or UL transmission (PUCCH, PUSCH, PRACH, SRS, etc.) and SSB is smaller than a defined, configured, or signaled value. The following embodiments may be applied to either Case A or Case B. "Overlap" may include Case B.
[0087] 7 is a flowchart illustrating an example of a process according to an embodiment of the present invention. In step S101, the UE applies the above-described process and / or restriction conditions for overlapping SSBs with a DL reception or a UL transmission to a specific SSB set.
[0088] Operation 1) When a DL reception or a UL transmission overlaps with an SSB, the specific SSB set may be determined as described below, with regard to the handling and / or restriction conditions.
[0089] Action 1a) Signaling
[0090] The specific SSB set may be provided by MIB or SIB1. Information indicating the specific SSB set may be included in a parameter set for the serving cell or in a user-specific parameter. The information indicating the specific SSB set may be provided as a parameter for each beam, a parameter for each SSB index, a parameter for each cell, or a parameter for each UE. For example, the information indicating the specific SSB set is hereinafter referred to as parameter X. For example, parameter X may be an SSB setting for RLM (Radio Link Monitoring) (according to Radio Link Monitoring RS).
[0091] Action 1b) Restrictions
[0092] The specific SSB set may include some or all of the SSBs defined or transmitted in the cell, for example, one or more SSBs defined or transmitted in the cell, or may be a subset of the SSBs determined by ssb-PositionsInBurst.
[0093] 8 is a diagram showing an example of beam configuration in an embodiment of the present invention. For example, when ssb-PositionsInBurst includes indices 0, 1, 2, ..., 63, parameter X for SSB index 9 or the specific SSB set may be 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, or 14. As shown in Fig. 8, the specific SSB set may include the associated SSB index itself and SSBs corresponding to SSB indices of footprints adjacent to the footprint of the associated SSB index.
[0094] For example, the number of SSBs included in the particular SSB set may not exceed K. K may be defined in a specification or may be determined based on UE capabilities.
[0095] Action 2) Behavior
[0096] For example, for purposes of RRM, RLM, beam management, etc., the UE may monitor the SSBs defined or transmitted in the cell that are included in the particular SSB set or determined by the parameter X, and not monitor other SSBs.
[0097] For example, a UE located in beam A monitors a set of SSBs determined by parameter X associated with beam A. Note that a UE being located in beam A may mean that the UE is in a position where it can receive beam A, or may mean that the UE is performing or is performing communication with a base station based on beam A. Alternatively, if parameter X determines an SSB other than the specific SSB described above among the SSBs defined or transmitted in a cell, i.e., an SSB to which the above-described processing and / or restriction conditions do not apply when a DL reception or a UL transmission overlaps with the SSB, the terminal does not monitor the SSB determined by parameter X, but monitors other SSBs among the SSBs defined or transmitted in the cell.
[0098] Cases A and B are identified based on the following:
[0099] For DL reception vs. SSB, the SSB to be monitored is determined by the parameter X within the cell, i.e., DL reception and SSB are scheduled in the same cell.
[0100] For UL transmission versus SSB, the monitored SSB in the active DL-BWP is determined by the parameter X. That is, all monitored SSB in the DL-BWP are considered for a single UL transmission in operation 2).
[0101] For SSB to SIB overlap, it may operate as follows: only SS / PBCH blocks determined based on parameter X are considered, and other SS / PBCH blocks are not considered.
[0102] When receiving a PDSCH scheduled with SI-RNTI and the system information indicator in the DCI is set to 0, the UE shall assume that after puncturing, if applicable, the SS / PBCH block determined based on the parameter X will not be transmitted in the RE used by the UE for reception of the PDSCH.
[0103] When receiving a PDSCH scheduled with an SI-RNTI, RA-RNTI, MSGB-RNTI, P-RNTI or TC-RNTI where the system information indicator in the DCI is 1, the UE shall assume an SS / PBCH block transmission according to parameter X, and if the PDSCH resource allocation overlaps with a PRB containing an SS / PBCH block transmission resource, the UE shall assume, after puncturing, if applicable, that the OFDM symbol in which the SS / PBCH block determined based on parameter X is transmitted is not available for PDSCH in the PRB containing the SS / PBCH block transmission resource determined based on parameter X.
[0104] For example, the UE may determine whether an SS / PBCH block determined based on the parameter X overlaps with a PDSCH scheduled by an SI-RNTI, RA-RNTI, MSGB-RNTI, P-RNTI, or TC-RNTI whose system information indicator in the DCI is 1, and determine the resources to use for the PDSCH.
[0105] 9 is a diagram showing an example of reception in an embodiment of the present invention. In the beam arrangement of SSB indexes shown in FIG. 9, a UE located in beam 9 may monitor beams 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 14 determined by parameter X. A UE located in beam 9 may perform SIB19 reception independently of the SSB in beam 15. That is, the UE may receive SIB19 even in symbols overlapping with the SSB.
[0106] For SSB to PDCCH overlap, it may operate as follows: only SS / PBCH blocks determined based on parameter X are considered, and other SS / PBCH blocks are not considered.
[0107] Regarding monitoring of PDCCH candidates by the UE, if the UE receives ssb-PositionsInBurst in SIB1, but does not receive ssb-PositionsInBurst in ServingCellConfigCommon for the serving cell, and is not monitoring PDCCH candidates in the Type-0-PDCCH CSS Set, and at least one RE for the PDCCH candidate corresponds, after puncturing, if applicable, to the SS / PBCH block index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst in SIB1 and overlaps with at least one RE of a candidate for the SS / PBCH block determined by parameter X, the UE does not need to monitor PDCCH candidates.
[0108] Regarding the monitoring of PDCCH candidates by the UE, when the UE receives ssb-PositionsInBurst in ServingCellConfigCommon for the serving cell and is not monitoring PDCCH candidates in the Type-0-PDCCH CSS Set, and at least one RE for the PDCCH candidate, after puncturing if applicable, corresponds to the SS / PBCH block index provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst in ServingCellConfigCommon and overlaps with at least one RE of a candidate for the SS / PBCH block determined by parameter X, the UE does not need to monitor the PDCCH candidate.
[0109] PDCCH reception or monitoring may be performed independently of SSBs defined or transmitted in the cell other than the SSB determined based on the parameter X.
[0110] For example, the UE may determine whether the SS / PBCH block determined based on the parameter X overlaps with the PDCCCH candidate, and determine the resource to monitor.
[0111] For SSB to DL data reception overlap, it may operate as follows: only SS / PBCH blocks determined based on parameter X are considered, and other SS / PBCH blocks are not considered.
[0112] When receiving a PDSCH scheduled by a PDCCH having a CRC scrambled by a C-RNTI, MCS-C-RNTI, CS-RNTI, G-RNTI, G-CS-RNTI, MCCH-RNTI, multicast-MCCH-RNTI, or a PDSCH having SPS, the REs corresponding to the resources configured or dynamically notified in subsections 5.1.4.1 and 5.1.4.2 of non-patent document 7 are not available for the PDSCH. Furthermore, if the PDSCH resource allocation, after puncturing, if applicable, overlaps with a PRB containing SS / PBCH block transmission resources, the UE shall assume an SS / PBCH block transmission determined by ssb-PositionsInBurst and the parameter X, and the UE shall assume that in the PRB containing SS / PBCH block transmission resources, after puncturing, if applicable, no OFDM symbols in which SS / PBCH blocks associated with the same PCI are transmitted are available for PDSCH.
[0113] DL data reception may be performed independently of SSBs defined or transmitted in the cell other than the SSB determined based on the parameter X.
[0114] For example, the UE may determine whether the SS / PBCH block determined based on the parameter X overlaps with the DL reception, and determine the resources to be used for the DL reception.
[0115] For SSB to PUSCH, PUCCH, PRACH or SRS transmission overlap, it may operate as follows: only SS / PBCH blocks determined based on parameter X are considered, and other SS / PBCH blocks are not considered.
[0116] When a UE is scheduled for multiple PUSCHs on the serving cell by a DCI, the HARQ process ID indicated by the DCI is applied to the first PUSCH that does not overlap with the DL symbol indicated by tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or, if provided, tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated, or the symbol of the SS / PBCH block provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst and having an index determined by the parameter X, and the HARQ process identifier is incremented by 1 for each subsequent PUSCH in the scheduled order modulo nrofHARQ-ProcessesForPUSCH if nrofHARQ-ProcessesForPUSCH is provided, or modulo nrofHARQ-ProcessesForPUSCH-r17 if nrofHARQ-ProcessesForPUSCH-r17 is provided, or modulo 16 otherwise. If at least one of the symbols indicated by the indexed row of the used resource allocation table within a slot overlaps with a DL symbol signaled by tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or, if provided, tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated, or with a symbol of an SS / PBCH block provided by ssb-PositionsInBurst and having an index determined by parameter X, then the HARQ process identifier is not incremented for the non-transmitted PUSCH.
[0117] PUSCH, PUCCH, PRACH or SRS transmission and corresponding UE operations (slot counting in PUSCH repetitions, determination of invalid symbols for PUSCH repetitions, etc.) may be performed independently of SSBs defined or transmitted in the cell other than the SSB determined based on the parameter X.
[0118] For example, the UE may determine whether the SS / PBCH block determined based on the parameter X overlaps with the UL transmission, and determine the resources to be used for UL reception.
[0119] The operation of RedCapUE may be performed independently of SSBs defined or transmitted in the cell other than the SSB determined based on the parameter X.
[0120] Action 3) Other actions
[0121] Operation 3a) Conditions
[0122] For example, if the parameter X is given, the operations 1) and 2) shown in Figure 7 may be applied. If the parameter X is not given, the processing of cases A and B may be performed based on ssb-PositionsInBurst.
[0123] For example, in an NTN environment, the operations 1) and 2) shown in Fig. 7 may be applied. In a non-NTN environment, the processing of cases A and B may be performed based on ssb-PositionsInBurst.
[0124] Operation 3b) UE capabilities
[0125] For example, if the UE capability supports it, the operations 1) and 2) shown in Figure 7 may be applied. If the UE capability does not support it, the processing of Cases A and B may be performed based on ssb-PositionsInBurst.
[0126] For example, the support of the operations 1) and 2) shown in FIG. 7 may be reported to the network as a UE capability via, for example, PRACH, Msg3 or PUSCH (reporting in the RRC layer).
[0127] According to the above-described embodiment, the terminal 20 can perform transmission and reception in a beam in a specific SSB set independently of other SSBs by limiting the scope in which processing is applied when overlapping with an SSB to a specific SSB set.
[0128] That is, it is possible to improve the resource usage efficiency in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) or a terrestrial network (TN).
[0129] (Device Configuration) Next, a functional configuration example of the base station 10 and the terminal 20 that execute the processes and operations described above will be described. The base station 10 and the terminal 20 include functions for implementing the above-described embodiments. However, the base station 10 and the terminal 20 may each include only a part of the functions of the embodiments.

[0136] The setting unit 230 stores various setting information received from the base station 10 by the receiving unit 220. [0160] The communication module 2013 receives various information (traffic information, traffic signal information, vehicle-to-vehicle information, etc.) transmitted from external devices and displays it on an information service unit 2012 provided in the vehicle 2001. The information service unit 2012 may be called an output unit that outputs information (for example, outputs information to a device such as a display or speaker based on the PDSCH (or data / information decoded from the PDSCH) received by the communication module 2013). The communication module 2013 also stores the various information received from external devices in a memory 2032 that can be used by the microprocessor 2031. Based on the information stored in the memory 2032, the microprocessor 2031 may control the drive unit 2002, steering unit 2003, accelerator pedal 2004, brake pedal 2005, shift lever 2006, front wheels 2007, rear wheels 2008, axles 2009, sensors 2021 to 2029, etc. provided in the vehicle 2001.
[0161] (Summary of the embodiment) As described above, according to the embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a terminal having a receiving unit that receives information indicating a specific SSB (SS / PBCH Block) set in a certain cell, and a control unit that determines whether or not downlink reception or uplink transmission overlaps with SSBs included in the specific SSB set among the SSBs transmitted in the certain cell, and determines resources to be used for the downlink reception or the uplink transmission.
[0162] With the above configuration, the terminal 20 can perform transmission and reception in the beam of the specific SSB set independently of other SSBs by limiting the scope of application of processing when overlapping with SSBs to a specific SSB set. In other words, resource usage efficiency can be improved in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) or a terrestrial network (TN).
[0163] The control unit may perform the downlink reception or the uplink transmission independently of SSBs other than those included in the specific SSB set among the SSBs transmitted in the certain cell. With this configuration, the terminal 20 can perform transmission and reception in a beam in the specific SSB set independently of other SSBs by limiting the scope of application of processing in the case of overlap with an SSB to the specific SSB set.
[0164] The control unit may acquire information indicating the specific SSB set from a Master Information Block (MIB) or System Information Block 1 (SIB1). With this configuration, the terminal 20 can perform transmission and reception in a beam in the specific SSB set independently of other SSBs by limiting the scope to which processing is applied when overlapping with an SSB to the specific SSB set.
[0165] When operating based on a signal to which a certain SSB index is applied, the control unit may determine whether the downlink reception or the uplink transmission overlaps with an SSB having the certain SSB index or an SSB included in the specific SSB set associated with the certain SSB index. With this configuration, the terminal 20 can perform transmission and reception in a beam in the specific SSB set independently of other SSBs by limiting the scope to which processing in the case of overlap with an SSB is applied to the specific SSB set.
[0166] When the downlink reception is an SIB (System Information Block), the control unit may determine whether to receive the SIB based on the result of the determination. With this configuration, the terminal 20 can perform transmission and reception in a beam in the specific SSB set independently of other SSBs by limiting the range in which processing is applied when overlapping with an SSB to a specific SSB set.
[0167] Furthermore, according to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a communication method in which a terminal executes the following procedures: receiving information indicating a specific SSB (SS / PBCH Block) set in a certain cell; determining whether downlink reception or uplink transmission overlaps with SSBs included in the specific SSB set among SSBs transmitted in the certain cell; and determining resources to be used for the downlink reception or uplink transmission.
[0168] With the above configuration, the terminal 20 can perform transmission and reception in the beam of the specific SSB set independently of other SSBs by limiting the scope of application of processing when overlapping with SSBs to a specific SSB set. In other words, resource usage efficiency can be improved in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) or a terrestrial network (TN).

The division of items in the above description is not essential to the present invention; matters described in two or more items may be used in combination as needed, and matters described in one item may apply to matters described in another item (as long as there is no contradiction). Boundaries between functional units or processing units in functional block diagrams do not necessarily correspond to boundaries between physical components. The operations of multiple functional units may be performed by a single physical component, or the operations of a single functional unit may be performed by multiple physical components. The order of processing steps described in the embodiments may be reversed as long as there is no contradiction. For convenience of processing description, the base station 10 and terminal 20 have been described using functional block diagrams, but such devices may be realized by hardware, software, or a combination thereof. Furthermore, the RRC signaling may be referred to as an RRC message, and may be, for example, an RRC Connection Setup message, an RRC Connection Reconfiguration message, or the like.
[0171] Each aspect / embodiment described in the present disclosure may be applied to at least one of systems using LTE (Long Term Evolution), LTE-Advanced (LTE-A), SUPER 3G, IMT-Advanced, 4G (4th generation mobile communication system), 5G (5th generation mobile communication system), FRA (Future Radio Access), NR (New Radio), W-CDMA (registered trademark), GSM (registered trademark), CDMA2000, UMB (Ultra Mobile Broadband), IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi (registered trademark)), IEEE 802.16 (WiMAX (registered trademark)), IEEE 802.20, UWB (Ultra-Wide Band), Bluetooth (registered trademark), or other suitable systems, and next-generation systems enhanced based on these. Furthermore, a combination of multiple systems (e.g., a combination of at least one of LTE and LTE-A with 5G, etc.) may also be applied.
[0172] The order of the procedures, sequences, flowcharts, etc. of each aspect / embodiment described herein may be rearranged unless it is consistent. [0173] In this specification, a specific operation described as being performed by the base station 10 may be performed by its upper node in some cases. In a network consisting of one or more network nodes having the base station 10, it is clear that various operations performed for communication with the terminal 20 may be performed by at least one of the base station 10 and another network node other than the base station 10 (such as, but not limited to, an MME or an S-GW). Although the above example illustrates a case where there is one other network node other than the base station 10, the other network node may be a combination of multiple other network nodes (such as an MME and an S-GW).
[0174] The information, signals, etc. described in the present disclosure may be output from a higher layer (or a lower layer) to a lower layer (or a higher layer), or may be input / output via multiple network nodes.
[0175] Input and output information may be stored in a specific location (for example, memory) or may be managed using a management table. Input and output information may be overwritten, updated, or added to. Output information may be deleted. Input information may be transmitted to another device.
[0176] In the present disclosure, the determination may be made by a value represented by one bit (0 or 1), by a Boolean value (true or false), or by a comparison of numerical values (e.g., comparison with a predetermined value).
[0177] Software shall be construed broadly to mean instructions, instruction sets, code, code segments, program code, programs, subprograms, software modules, applications, software applications, software packages, routines, subroutines, objects, executable files, threads of execution, procedures, functions, etc., whether referred to as software, firmware, middleware, microcode, hardware description language, or otherwise.
[0178] Software, instructions, information, etc. may also be transmitted or received over a transmission medium. For example, if software is transmitted from a website, server, or other remote source using wired technologies (such as coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, twisted pair, Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)), and / or wireless technologies (such as infrared, microwave), then these wired and / or wireless technologies are included within the definition of transmission media.
[0179] The information, signals, etc. described in this disclosure may be represented using any of a variety of different technologies. For example, data, instructions, commands, information, signals, bits, symbols, chips, etc. that may be referred to throughout the above description may be represented by voltages, currents, electromagnetic waves, magnetic fields or magnetic particles, optical fields or photons, or any combination thereof.
[0180] Note that terms described in this disclosure and terms necessary for understanding this disclosure may be replaced with terms having the same or similar meanings. For example, at least one of a channel and a symbol may be a signal (signaling). Furthermore, a signal may be a message. Furthermore, a component carrier (CC) may be called a carrier frequency, a cell, a frequency carrier, etc.
[0181] As used in this disclosure, the terms "system" and "network" are used interchangeably.
[0182] Furthermore, the information, parameters, etc. described in the present disclosure may be expressed using absolute values, may be expressed using relative values from a predetermined value, or may be expressed using other corresponding information. For example, a radio resource may be indicated by an index.
[0183] The names used for the above-described parameters are not intended to be limiting in any way. Furthermore, the mathematical expressions using these parameters may differ from those explicitly disclosed in this disclosure. The various channels (e.g., PUCCH, PDCCH, etc.) and information elements may be identified by any suitable names, and therefore the various names assigned to these various channels and information elements are not intended to be limiting in any way.
[0184] In the present disclosure, terms such as "base station (BS)," "radio base station," "base station device," "fixed station," "NodeB," "eNodeB (eNB)," "gNodeB (gNB)," "access point," "transmission point," "reception point," "transmission / reception point," "cell," "sector," "cell group," "carrier," and "component carrier" may be used interchangeably. A base station may also be referred to by terms such as a macrocell, a small cell, a femtocell, and a picocell.
[0185] A base station can accommodate one or more (e.g., three) cells. When a base station accommodates multiple cells, the overall coverage area of the base station can be partitioned into multiple smaller areas, and each smaller area can also be provided with communication services by a base station subsystem (e.g., a small indoor base station (RRH: Remote Radio Head)). The terms "cell" or "sector" refer to part or all of the coverage area of a base station and / or base station subsystem that provides communication services within that coverage.
[0186] In the present disclosure, the base station transmitting information to a terminal may be interpreted as the base station instructing the terminal to control or operate based on the information.
[0187] In this disclosure, the terms "Mobile Station (MS)," "user terminal," "User Equipment (UE)," "terminal," and the like may be used interchangeably.
[0188] A mobile station may also be referred to by those skilled in the art as a subscriber station, mobile unit, subscriber unit, wireless unit, remote unit, mobile device, wireless device, wireless communication device, remote device, mobile subscriber station, access terminal, mobile terminal, wireless terminal, remote terminal, handset, user agent, mobile client, client, or some other suitable terminology.
[0189] At least one of the base station and the mobile station may be referred to as a transmitting device, a receiving device, a communication device, etc. At least one of the base station and the mobile station may be a device mounted on a mobile object, the mobile object itself, etc. The mobile object refers to a movable object, and may move at any speed. Naturally, this also includes cases where the mobile object is stationary. Examples of the mobile object include, but are not limited to, vehicles, transport vehicles, automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, connected cars, excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, dump trucks, forklifts, trains, buses, handcars, rickshaws, ships and other watercraft, airplanes, rockets, satellites, drones (registered trademark), multicopters, quadcopters, balloons, and objects mounted thereon. The mobile object may also be a mobile object that moves autonomously based on an operational command. It may be a vehicle (e.g., a car, an airplane, etc.), an unmanned mobile object (e.g., a drone, an autonomous vehicle, etc.), or a robot (manned or unmanned). At least one of the base station and the mobile station may be a device that does not necessarily move during communication operations. For example, at least one of the base station and the mobile station may be an IoT (Internet of Things) device such as a sensor.
[0190] Furthermore, a base station in the present disclosure may be read as a user terminal. For example, the aspects / embodiments of the present disclosure may be applied to a configuration in which communication between a base station and a user terminal is replaced with communication between multiple terminals 20 (which may be called, for example, Device-to-Device (D2D) or Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X)). In this case, the terminal 20 may be configured to have the functions of the base station 10 described above. Furthermore, terms such as "uplink" and "downlink" may be read as terms corresponding to terminal-to-terminal communication (for example, "side"). For example, terms such as an uplink channel and a downlink channel may be read as a side channel.
[0191] Similarly, the user terminal in the present disclosure may be read as a base station, in which case the base station may be configured to have the functions of the user terminal described above.
[0192] As used in this disclosure, the terms "determining" and "determining" may encompass a wide variety of actions. "Determining" and "determining" may include, for example, judging, calculating, computing, processing, deriving, investigating, looking up, searching, inquiring (e.g., searching in a table, database, or other data structure), ascertaining, and the like. "Determining" and "determining" may also include receiving (e.g., receiving information), transmitting (e.g., sending information), input, output, accessing (e.g., accessing data in memory), and the like. Furthermore, "judgment" and "decision" can include regarding resolving, selecting, choosing, establishing, comparing, etc. as having been "judged" or "decided." In other words, "judgment" and "decision" can include regarding some action as having been "judged" or "decided." Furthermore, "judgment (decision)" can be interpreted as "assuming," "expecting," "considering," etc.
[0193] The terms "connected," "coupled," or any variation thereof, refer to any direct or indirect connection or coupling between two or more elements, and may include the presence of one or more intermediate elements between two elements that are "connected" or "coupled" to each other. The coupling or connection between elements may be physical, logical, or a combination thereof. For example, "connected" may be read as "access." As used in this disclosure, two elements may be considered to be "connected" or "coupled" to each other using one or more wires, cables, and / or printed electrical connections, as well as electromagnetic energy having wavelengths in the radio frequency range, microwave range, and optical (both visible and invisible) range, as some non-limiting and non-exhaustive examples.
[0194] The reference signal may be abbreviated as RS (Reference Signal) or may be called a pilot depending on the applicable standard.
[0195] As used in this disclosure, the phrase "based on" does not mean "based only on," unless expressly stated otherwise. In other words, the phrase "based on" means both "based only on" and "based at least on."
[0196] As used in this disclosure, any reference to an element using a designation such as "first," "second," etc. does not generally limit the quantity or order of those elements. These designations may be used in this disclosure as a convenient method of distinguishing between two or more elements. Thus, a reference to a first and a second element does not imply that only two elements may be employed or that the first element must in some way precede the second element.
[0197] The "means" in the configuration of each of the above devices may be replaced with "part," "circuit," "device," etc.
[0198] When the terms "include," "including," and variations thereof are used in this disclosure, these terms are intended to be inclusive, similar to the term "comprising." Furthermore, when the term "or" is used in this disclosure, it is not intended to be an exclusive or.
[0199] A radio frame may be composed of one or more frames in the time domain. Each of the one or more frames in the time domain may be called a subframe. A subframe may further be composed of one or more slots in the time domain. A subframe may have a fixed time length (e.g., 1 ms) that is independent of numerology.
[0200] Numerology may be communication parameters that apply to the transmission and / or reception of a signal or channel, such as subcarrier spacing (SCS), bandwidth, symbol length, cyclic prefix length, transmission time interval (TTI), number of symbols per TTI, radio frame structure, specific filtering operations performed by the transceiver in the frequency domain, specific windowing operations performed by the transceiver in the time domain, etc.
[0201] A slot may be composed of one or more symbols (such as an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol or a Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbol) in the time domain. A slot may be a time unit based on numerology.
[0202] A slot may include multiple minislots. Each minislot may consist of one or multiple symbols in the time domain. A minislot may also be called a subslot. A minislot may consist of fewer symbols than a slot. A PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted in a time unit larger than a minislot may be called PDSCH (or PUSCH) mapping type A. A PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted using a minislot may be called PDSCH (or PUSCH) mapping type B.
[0203] The radio frame, subframe, slot, minislot, and symbol all represent time units for transmitting signals, and may be referred to by other names corresponding to the radio frame, subframe, slot, minislot, and symbol.
[0204] For example, one subframe may be called a transmission time interval (TTI), multiple consecutive subframes may be called a TTI, or one slot or one minislot may be called a TTI. That is, at least one of the subframe and the TTI may be a subframe (1 ms) in existing LTE, a period shorter than 1 ms (for example, 1-13 symbols), or a period longer than 1 ms. Note that the unit representing the TTI may be called a slot, minislot, etc. instead of a subframe.
[0205] Here, TTI refers to, for example, the smallest time unit for scheduling in wireless communication. For example, in an LTE system, a base station performs scheduling to allocate wireless resources (such as frequency bandwidth and transmission power that can be used by each terminal 20) to each terminal 20 in TTI units. Note that the definition of TTI is not limited to this.
[0206] The TTI may be a transmission time unit for a channel-encoded data packet (transport block), a code block, a code word, etc., or may be a processing unit for scheduling, link adaptation, etc. When a TTI is given, the time interval (e.g., the number of symbols) to which a transport block, a code block, a code word, etc. is actually mapped may be shorter than the TTI.
[0207] When one slot or one minislot is called a TTI, one or more TTIs (i.e., one or more slots or one or more minislots) may be the minimum time unit for scheduling. Also, the number of slots (minislots) constituting the minimum time unit for scheduling may be controlled.
[0208] A TTI having a time length of 1 ms may be called a regular TTI (TTI in LTE Rel. 8-12), normal TTI, long TTI, regular subframe, normal subframe, long subframe, slot, etc. A TTI shorter than a regular TTI may be called a shortened TTI, short TTI, partial or fractional TTI, shortened subframe, short subframe, minislot, subslot, slot, etc.
[0209] In addition, a long TTI (e.g., a normal TTI, a subframe, etc.) may be interpreted as a TTI having a time length of more than 1 ms, and a short TTI (e.g., a shortened TTI, etc.) may be interpreted as a TTI having a TTI length shorter than the TTI length of a long TTI and greater than or equal to 1 ms.
[0210] A resource block (RB) is a resource allocation unit in the time domain and the frequency domain, and may include one or more consecutive subcarriers in the frequency domain. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may be the same regardless of the numerology, for example, 12. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may be determined based on the numerology.
[0211] The time domain of an RB may include one or more symbols and may have a length of one slot, one minislot, one subframe, or one TTI. One TTI, one subframe, etc. may each be composed of one or more resource blocks.
[0212] Note that one or more RBs may also be called a physical resource block (PRB), a sub-carrier group (SCG), a resource element group (REG), a PRB pair, an RB pair, etc.
[0213] Furthermore, a resource block may be composed of one or more resource elements (REs). For example, one RE may be a radio resource region of one subcarrier and one symbol.
[0214] A Bandwidth Part (BWP) (which may also be referred to as a fractional bandwidth) may represent a subset of contiguous common resource blocks (RBs) for a given numerology on a given carrier, where the common RBs may be identified by their index relative to a Common Reference Point of the carrier. PRBs may be defined in a BWP and numbered within the BWP.
[0215] The BWP may include a BWP for UL (UL BWP) and a BWP for DL (DL BWP). One or more BWPs may be configured for a UE within one carrier.
[0216] At least one of the configured BWPs may be active, and the UE may not expect to transmit or receive a given signal / channel outside the active BWP. Note that the terms "cell," "carrier," etc. in this disclosure may be read as "BWP."
[0217] The above-described structures of radio frames, subframes, slots, minislots, symbols, etc. are merely examples, and various changes may be made to the number of subframes included in a radio frame, the number of slots per subframe or radio frame, the number of minislots included in a slot, the number of symbols and RBs included in a slot or minislot, the number of subcarriers included in an RB, the number of symbols in a TTI, the symbol length, the cyclic prefix (CP) length, etc.
[0218] In this disclosure, where articles are added by translation, such as a, an, and the in English, the disclosure may include that the nouns following these articles are in the plural form.
[0219] In the present disclosure, the term "A and B are different" may mean "A and B are different from each other." The term may also mean "A and B are each different from C." Terms such as "separate" and "coupled" may also be interpreted in the same way as "different."
[0220] The aspects / embodiments described in this disclosure may be used alone, in combination, or switched depending on the implementation. Notification of predetermined information (e.g., notification that "X is true") is not limited to explicit notification, but may be implicit (e.g., not notifying the predetermined information).
[0221] Although the present disclosure has been described in detail above, it is clear to those skilled in the art that the present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described herein. The present disclosure can be implemented in modified and altered forms without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure as defined by the claims. Therefore, the description of the present disclosure is intended to be illustrative and does not have any limiting meaning on the present disclosure.
