Abstract
Description
Traction device for agricultural tractors
[0001] The present invention relates to an agricultural tractor and a towing device for towing a work machine.
[0002] An agricultural tractor is a work vehicle that can perform work by connecting various work machines necessary for agricultural work.
[0003] Examples of implements include trailers and balers.
[0004] The work machines mentioned as examples above have a structure capable of supporting a load by means of their own wheels.
[0005] Agricultural tractors are equipped with a towing device for towing the above-mentioned implements.
[0006] Figure 1 is a reference drawing for explaining a towing device mounted on an agricultural tractor.
[0007] Referring to Fig. 1, the towing device (10) includes a drawbar (11) and a support (12).
[0008] The drawbar (11) is installed at the rear end of the agricultural tractor (T) and is configured to connect the agricultural tractor (T) and the work machine (W).
[0009] The agricultural tractor (T) can tow a work machine (W) equipped with a draw bar (11) by attaching and detaching various work machines (W).
[0010] The support (12) is installed on an agricultural tractor (T) and supports at least a part of the draw bar (11).
[0011] However, the work machines (W) towed by the towing device (10) not only have a considerable self-weight, but also apply excessive load to the draw bar (11) during the process of moving heavy objects or compressing harvested materials.
[0012] If excessive load is applied to the drawbar by the work machine, the following problems may occur:
[0013] First, when a momentary load or repeated fatigue load due to impact is applied, deformation, cracks, or damage may occur in the drawbar itself or the support supporting it.
[0014] Second, if the load is concentrated on the connection between the drawbar and the agricultural tractor, damage to that area or the detachment of the drawbar may occur, and the possibility of damage to the agricultural tractor cannot be ruled out.
[0015] As mentioned above, excessive load applied to the drawbar by the work machine not only affects the traction device but can also cause structural damage to the connected agricultural tractor. Therefore, it is necessary to consider a technical solution that can stably support the load applied to the drawbar.
[0016] The present invention was conceived from concerns about securing sufficient durability to withstand the load applied by the working machine.
[0017] In order to achieve this purpose, a traction device (100) for an agricultural tractor according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a draw bar (110) installed on an agricultural tractor (T) and protruding toward the rear of the agricultural tractor (T) for connection with a work machine; a support (120) installed at the rear end of the agricultural tractor (T) and configured to support at least a portion of the draw bar (110); wherein the support (120) comprises: a pair of side panels (121a, 121b) fastened to the rear of the agricultural tractor (T); a first support (122a) coupled between the pair of side panels (121a, 121b) and arranged horizontally and perpendicularly to the pair of side panels (121a, 121b); A second support member (122b) coupled between the pair of side panels (121a, 121b) and positioned parallel to the first support member (122a) and below the first support member (122a); and a plurality of reinforcing members (124a, 124b) coupled and connecting between the first support member (122a) and the second support member (122b). [0018] The above first joining portion (CA1) can be joined by welding, and the above second joining portion (CA2) can be joined by fastening the fastening means (B).
[0019] The above first coupling portion (CA1) and the above second coupling portion (CA2) can be coupled by fastening the fastening means (B).
[0020] The second support member (122b) may be provided with a fastening hole (hereinafter referred to as a “fastening hole (122b-CH) of the second support member”) through which the fastening means (B) can be inserted so that the plurality of reinforcing members (124a, 124b) arranged at the upper end can be fastened to the fastening means (B), and a fastening hole (124-CH) through which the fastening means (B) passing through the fastening hole (122b-CH) of the second support member can be fastened may be provided at the lower end of the plurality of reinforcing members (124a, 124b).
[0021] The above fastening means (B) can be provided with a bolt.
[0022] The draw bar (110) is inserted between the first support (122a) and the second support (122b) so that the lower part is supported by the second support (122b), and a limit pin insertion hole (LPH) is formed in the first support (122a) and the second support (122b) through which a limit pin (LP) for limiting the left-right movement of the draw bar (110) can be inserted, and the plurality of reinforcing members (124a, 124b) can be arranged symmetrically and spaced apart from each other with the limit pin insertion hole (LPH) therebetween.
[0023] The above limit pin (LP) includes a first part (LP-1S) having a long length in the vertical direction; a second part (LP-2S) having a long length in the vertical direction and arranged at a predetermined distance from the first part; and a connecting part (LP-CS) connecting the first part (LP-1S) and the second part (LP-2S); and the length of the first part (LP-1S) may be longer than the length of the second part (LP-2S).
[0024] It may further include a stopper (S) coupled to the upper portion of the first part (LP-1S) to limit the length of insertion of the first part (LP-1S) into the limit pin insertion hole (LPH); and a separation prevention member (BP) coupled to the lower portion of the first part (LP-1S) to prevent the first part (LP-1S) from being separated from the limit pin insertion hole (LPH).
[0025] The above plurality of reinforcing members (124a, 124b) are composed of a first reinforcing member (124a) and a second reinforcing member (124b), and the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) are arranged symmetrically on both sides with respect to the draw bar (110), but the gap between the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) may become narrower from the rear to the front.
[0026] The first support member (122a) and the second support member (122b) are provided in a plate shape, and at least a portion (e1, e2) of the edge of the first reinforcing member (124a) and at least a portion (e3, e4) of the edge of the second reinforcing member (124b) can be arranged to touch the outer boundary line (OBL) of at least one of the first support member (122a) and the second support member (122b).
[0027] As described above, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
[0028] First, it is possible to secure sufficient durability and strength to withstand the load applied by the work machine.
[0029] Second, since the load applied by the work piece is appropriately distributed on the support, the possibility of damage to the support as well as the drawbar can be minimized.
[0030] Third, the load applied by the work machine has less of an impact on the connection between the agricultural tractor and the drawbar, so the possibility of damage to the agricultural tractor can also be minimized.
[0031] Fourth, stable traction is possible even when equipped with high-load work equipment, which can improve work efficiency.

[0053] The support (120) is installed at the rear end of the agricultural tractor (T) and is configured to support at least a portion of the draw bar (110). In this regard, refer to FIGS. 4 to 6.
[0054] Referring to FIGS. 4 to 6, the support (120) includes a pair of side panels (121a, 121b), a first support (122a), a second support (122b), a rib (123), and a reinforcing member (124a, 124b).
[0055] A pair of side panels (121a, 121b) are configured to be attached to the rear of an agricultural tractor (T) and are configured to support the side of a support (120).
[0056] A pair of side panels (121a, 121b) are symmetrical left and right and are attached to the rear of the agricultural tractor (T).
[0057] A pair of side panels (121a, 121b) can be flipped left and right, but since their shapes themselves are the same, the following description will be based on one side panel (121a) for convenience of explanation.
[0058] The side panel (121a) has a long length in the vertical direction.
[0059] A cover (C) is attached to the upper part of the side panel (121a) to protect the PTO shaft (PTO) located at the rear of the agricultural tractor (T). A connecting plate (121a-P) is installed on the side panel (121a) and the cover (C) to connect the side panel (121a) and the cover (C).
[0060] At the lower part of the side panel (121a), connecting grooves (121a-G) are formed into which the first support (122a), the second support (122b) and the rib (123) can be inserted and connected.
[0061] The first support member (122a), the second support member (122b), and the left end of the rib (123) are fitted and connected to each of the connecting grooves (121a-G) formed on the lower portion of the side panel (121a).

[0063] When a first support member (122a), a second support member (122b) and a rib (123) are fitted into each of the connecting grooves (121a-G) formed at the lower portions of a pair of side panels (121a, 121b), the connection between the pair of side panels (121a, 122b) and other components (122a, 122b and 123) can be strengthened by welding.
[0064] The first support (122a) is connected between a pair of side panels (121a, 121b), and is arranged horizontally and perpendicular to the pair of side panels (121a, 121b).
[0065] The first support (122a) is provided in a plate shape and is located below the draw bar (110).
[0066] The first support (122a) has a plurality of limit pin insertion holes (LPH) formed therein through which limit pins (LP) can be inserted to limit the left-right movement of the draw bar (110).
[0067] In the support (120) proposed by the present invention, two limit pin insertion holes (LPH) are formed, but this is only one embodiment, and the number may be increased or decreased depending on implementation.
[0068] The second support (122b) is connected between a pair of side panels (121a, 121b), is parallel to the first support (122a), and is positioned below the first support (122a).
[0069] The second support (122b) is provided in a plate shape and, together with the first support (122a), restricts the vertical movement of the draw bar (110) inserted between the first support (122a) and the second support (122b).
[0070] A limit pin insertion hole (LPH) is formed in the second support (122b) through which a limit pin (LP) can be inserted to limit the left-right movement of the draw bar (110).
[0071] The limit pin (LP) is provided in the shape of the letter '∩' and is inserted through the limit pin insertion hole (LPH) formed in the first support (122b) and the second support (122b).
[0072] To be more specific, the limit pin (LP) may include a first part (LP-1S), a second part (LP-2S) and a connecting part (LP-CS).
[0073] Part 1 (LP-1S) has a long vertical length.
[0074] The second part (LP-2s) has a long length in the vertical direction, but is spaced apart from the first part (LP-1s) by a predetermined distance.
[0075] The connecting portion (LP-CS) connects the first portion (LP-1S) and the second portion (LP-2S).
[0076] The first part (LP-1S), the second part (LP-2S) and the connecting part (LP-CS) are formed as one piece.
[0077] The length of the first part (LP-1S) (shown as l1 in FIG. 4) is longer than the length of the second part (LP-2S) (shown as l2 in FIG. 4).
[0078] A stopper (S) can be coupled to the upper part of the first part (LP-1S) while the limit pin (LP) is inserted into the limit pin insertion hole (LPH), and a release prevention member (BP) can be coupled to the lower part of the first part (LP-1S).
[0079] The stopper (S) is configured to limit the length at which the first part (LP-1S) is inserted into the limit pin insertion hole (LPH).
[0080] The anti-separation member (BP) is configured to prevent the first part (LP-1S) from being separated from the limit pin insertion hole (LPH).
[0081] In the shape of the above-mentioned limit pin (LP), the first part (LP-1S) and the second part (LP-2S) are arranged to have different lengths in consideration of the application of a stopper (S) and a separation prevention member (BP) to limit the installation position of the limit pin (LP).
[0082] However, the shape of the above-mentioned limit pin (LP) is only one example and is not limited thereto, and it is obvious that it can be provided in various ways by considering the number and position of the limit pin insertion holes (LPH).
[0083] Either the first support member (122a) or the second support member (122b) may have a fastening hole (e.g., 122a-CH or 122b-CH) formed therein through which a fastening means (B) can be inserted so that the fastening means (B) can be fastened to a reinforcing member (124a, 124b) to be described later.
[0084] The rib (123) is joined between a pair of side panels (121a, 121b) and is positioned above the first support (122a).
[0085] The rib (123) is provided to securely install a support (120) to an agricultural tractor (T) in addition to a pair of side panels (121a, 121b).
[0086] The rib (123) is arranged vertically with respect to the first support (122a) and is installed with its front surface in contact with the agricultural tractor (T) side.
[0087] Reinforcing members (124a, 124b) are connected and joined between the first support member (122a) and the second support member (122b). A plurality of reinforcing members (124a, 124b) are provided. In the following description, the description will be limited to the case where two reinforcing members (124a, 124b), i.e., the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b), are provided, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
[0088] The first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) are spaced apart from each other, but are arranged symmetrically with a limit pin insertion hole (LPH) between them.
[0089] The first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) appropriately distribute the load applied to the second support member (122b) by the draw bar (110).
[0090] A more detailed description regarding the shape and arrangement of the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) will be provided later.
[0091] At least one of the joint portions between the upper portions of the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) and the first support member (122a) (hereinafter referred to as the 'first joint portion (CA1)') and the joint portions between the lower portions of the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) and the second support member (122b) (hereinafter referred to as the 'second joint portion (CA2)') are joined by fastening the fastening means (B).
[0092] For example, the first joining portion (CA1) may be joined by welding, and the second joining portion (CA2) may be joined by a fastening means (B). This is illustrated in Fig. 5.
[0093] In this case, a fastening hole (122b-CH) is formed in the second support (122b), and a fastening hole (124-CH) to which a fastening means (B) penetrating through the fastening hole (122b-CH) of the second support is fastened is provided at the lower portion of each of the two reinforcing members (124a, 124b).
[0094] As another example, both the first coupling portion (CA1) and the second coupling portion (CA2) can be coupled by a fastening means (B). This is illustrated in Fig. 6.
[0095] In this case, fastening holes (122a-CH, 122b-CH) are formed in each of the first support member (122a) and the second support member (122b), and fastening holes (124-CH) are provided in the upper portion of the first reinforcing member (124a) and the lower portion of the second reinforcing member (124b) so that a fastening means (B) can be fastened by penetrating through the fastening hole (122a-CH) of the first support member (122a) and the fastening hole (122b-CH) of the second support member (122b).
[0096] For reference, the load applied to the drawbar (110) by the work machine during operation can be divided into horizontal load and vertical load.
[0097] The horizontal load acts on the fastening means (B) that is fastened to the transmission case to which the support (120) is coupled.
[0098] A large vertical load is applied to the drawbar (110) and the support (120), especially to the second support (122b) located below the drawbar (110).
[0099] The present invention was conceived from concerns about improving the strength and durability of a support (120) for a vertical load applied to a drawbar (110).
[0100] Welding requires destructive or non-destructive testing to determine the degree of melting to ensure proper welding. This type of base material melting defect is difficult to accurately detect with the naked eye. Furthermore, weld quality varies significantly, making it extremely difficult to predict strength.
[0101] On the other hand, the method of joining by fastening the fastener (B) can provide superior strength compared to welding. Furthermore, since the presence of loosening in the fastener (B) can be quickly confirmed with the naked eye, it offers the advantage of enabling rapid response by the worker for maintenance.
[0102] From a maintenance perspective, it may be advantageous to adopt a joining method by fastening the fastening member (B) rather than a joining method by welding.
[0103] If, due to space constraints, it is difficult to fasten both the upper and lower portions of the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) with the fastening member (B), it may be desirable to selectively fasten the fastening member (B) to either the upper or lower portions of the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b).
[0104] However, when looking at the support structure of the drawbar (110) of the support (120), a large load cannot help but be applied to the second support (122b) that supports the lower part of the drawbar (110).
[0105] Considering this, in the above case, it is preferable to apply a joining method by fastening a fastening means (B) to the second joining portion (CA2), and to apply a joining method by welding to the first joining portion (CA1) where a lesser load is applied compared to the second joining portion (CA2).
[0106] The present invention can simultaneously secure the advantage of maintenance and structural rigidity by applying a joining method by joining a joining member (B) to a second joining portion (CA2).
[0107] Hereinafter, with reference to the drawing, additional mention will be made of the load distribution structure of the support (120) to more effectively distribute the load applied to the support (120) by the work machine.
[0108] <Additional explanation of the load distribution structure of the support>
[0109] Fig. 7 is a plan view illustrating the support illustrated in Fig. 4, and Figs. 8a to 8c are reference drawings for explaining the load distribution effect of the support illustrated in Fig. 7.
[0110] Referring to Fig. 7, the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) arranged at the lower portion of the first support member (122a) are arranged symmetrically on both sides with respect to the draw bar (110), but the gap (d) between the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) becomes narrower from the rear to the front.
[0111] This is to secure the rotation radius of the draw bar (110), as the left and right rotation of the draw bar (110) may be required during driving or working depending on the type of work machine connected to the towing device (100).
[0112] The arrangement structure of these reinforcing members (124a, 124b) is such that the fastening means (B) are not fastened along the same straight line, but the fastening means (B) fastened to the front side is fastened slightly eccentrically inward compared to the fastening means (B) fastened to the rear side according to the arrangement structure of the reinforcing members (124a, 124b). This can have a load distribution effect by making the fastening position eccentric when fastening the fastening means (B) to resolve the uncertainty of welding defects. In addition, the cases of the fastening means (B) loosening due to repeatedly applied loads are reduced, and the fastening state between the second support (122b) and the reinforcing members (124a, 124b) can be maintained more firmly.
[0113] Referring again to FIG. 7, the first reinforcing member (124a) and the second reinforcing member (124b) are arranged obliquely on the lower surface of the first support member (122a), but are arranged so that at least a portion (e1, e2) of the edge of the first reinforcing member (124a) and at least a portion (e3, e4) of the edge of the second reinforcing member (124b) touch the outer boundary line (OBL) of at least one of the first support member (122a) and the second support member (122b).
[0114] In the description based on the first reinforcing member (124a), the first reinforcing member (124a) is provided in the shape of a square pillar, and some of the corners (e1, e2) located on the side of the first reinforcing member (124a) are arranged to touch the outer boundary line (OBL) of the first support (122a) and the second support (122b) within a range where they do not protrude outward from the first support (122a) and the second support (122b).
[0115] In the case of the second reinforcing member (124b), the second reinforcing member (124b) is provided in the shape of a square pillar, and some of the corners (e3, e4) located on the side of the second reinforcing member (124a) are arranged to touch the outer boundary line (OBL) of the first support member (122a) and the second support member (122b) within a range where they do not protrude outward from the first support member (122a) and the second support member (122b).
[0116] This reflects the simulation results to maximize the load distribution effect.
[0117] Referring to FIGS. 8a to 8c illustrating simulation results, FIG. 8a illustrates a load distribution in a support (120) structure corresponding to the shape and arrangement structure of the first reinforcing member (124a) proposed by the present invention, and FIGS. 8b to 8c illustrate a load distribution in a support (120) structure corresponding to a case where the reinforcing member has a shorter length than the first reinforcing member (124a) illustrated in FIG. 7a.
[0118] The distributed load varies depending on the shape and arrangement of the reinforcing member. A structure in which the load is distributed rather than concentrated in a specific area is advantageous for durability.
[0119] Looking at the reinforcing member side in Figs. 8a to 8c, it can be seen that the load is evenly distributed in Fig. 8a, unlike in Figs. 8b to 8c, where the load is concentrated on a specific part.
[0120] As shown in the simulation results of FIGS. 8a to 8c, the load distribution effect of the support (120) proposed by the present invention is maximized, and the traction device (100) including the support (120) can secure sufficient durability to withstand the load applied by the working device.
[0121] The above-described embodiments merely illustrate preferred examples of the present invention, and it may have various applications. Therefore, the present invention should not be construed as limited to the above-described content. Instead, the scope of the present invention should be construed within the scope of the separately described claims and their equivalents.
