Abstract
Devices, systems, kits, and methods for remote measurement of sebum. A kit includes a sebum test card, a sebum sampling stick, and a sebum absorbent paper for sampling sebum from the skin of a subject. A user can photograph the sebum test card with the sebum absorbent paper with sample thereon and transmit an image of the sebum test card to a remote computational server, where computation of an amount of sebum of the skin of the subject occurs. Computational methods include registering a test image with a reference image and use of a standard curve in the independent computation of the amount of sebum. The disclosed approaches can be implemented in at-home or remote locations for personal sebum testing or monitoring.
