[0003] The present disclosure relates to the field of communication technologies, and in particular, to a communication method and related apparatuses.BACKGROUND
[0004] In the fifth generation (5G) mobile systems, the user equipment (UE) can register with the mobile network (MN) by using a UE registration procedure described in third generation partnership project (3GPP) technical specification (TS) numbered 23.502. The UE needs to have user subscription data stored in the core network (CN) of the mobile network (MN) . Without the user data subscription, the UE may still register with the network in case of emergency like earthquake situation to make emergency calls, such as 911 call. The UE may not be able to access other services of the network other than the emergency call service.
[0005] In some scenarios, some electronic device (s) (ED) may want to connect with the MN, but the ED may not have prior subscription with the MN. For example, some low-cost Internet of thing (IoT) devices may not have a physical Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card and prior subscription with a MN. The low cost IoT devices may belong to a home network, such as door and window monitoring, household device monitoring, security cameras, temperature monitoring, air conditioner control, and lighting control. In some other scenarios, the low cost IoT devices may belong to industrial applications such as warehouse automation, factory automation, farming automation, and city infrastructure management. The owner of low-cost devices may need solutions to register the device with the network so that the devices can access the network, use network services, and access applications and services outside the mobile networks. Furthermore, the owner may need other solutions to manage the devices, for example network de-registration when the device is out of service.

[0007] In a first aspect, a communication method is provided by an implementation of the present disclosure, and the method includes:
[0008] transmitting, by a first network element, a first de-registration request to a third network element, wherein the first de-registration request is used for requesting a network to de-register a second network element, wherein the second network element has registered with the network with assistance of the first network element at a terminal side, wherein the third network element is used for managing network connections of the first network element and the second network element; and
[0009] receiving, by the first network element, a first de-registration response from the third network element, wherein the first de-registration response is used for indicating that de-registration of the second network element is completed.
[0010] In this way, de-registration of the second network element that has registered with the network with assistance of the first network element at a terminal side is achieved through the aforementioned interaction between the first network element and the second network element, and the de-registration of the second network element initiated by the first network element.
[0011] In a second aspect, a communication method is provided by an implementation of the present disclosure, and the method includes:
[0012] receiving, by a third network element, a first de-registration request from a first network element, wherein the first de-registration request is used for requesting a network to de-register a second network element, wherein the second network element has registered with the network with assistance of the first network element at a terminal side, wherein the third network element is used for managing network connections of the first network element and the second network element; and
[0013] transmitting, by the third network element, a first de-registration response to the first network element, wherein the first de-registration response is used for indicating that de-registration of the second network element is completed.

andreceiving, by the first network element, a first de-registration response from the third network element, wherein the first de-registration response is used for indicating that de-registration of the second network element is completed.2.A communication method, comprising:receiving, by a third network element, a first de-registration request from a first network element, wherein the first de-registration request is used for requesting a network to de-register a second network element, wherein the second network element has registered with the network with assistance of the first network element at a terminal side, wherein the third network element is used for managing network connections of the first network element and the second network element; andthe network side cause comprises at least one of: a network error or an application error.8.The method according to claim 7, wherein when the cause is that the second network element is unavailable, the first network de-registration request comprises an unavailable period of the second network element.9.The method according to any one of claims 5 to 8, further comprising:determining, based on the first network de-registration request, by the first network element, to de-register the second network element.10.The method according to any one of claims 1, 3 to 9, further comprising:transmitting, by the first network element, a first de-registration notification to a fourth network element to notify that the second network element is to be de-registered, wherein the fourth network element is a network element at a network side, and the first de-registration notification comprises at least one of: an identifier of the second network element, an identifier of the first network element, an indication for indicating that the second network element is to be de-registered, an indication for indicating when the second network element is de-registered, or a terminal side cause for de-registration of the second network element; andreceiving, by the first network element, a first de-registration acknowledgement from the fourth network element, wherein the first de-registration acknowledgement is indicative of a reception of the first de-registration notification.11.The method according to claim 10, wherein the terminal side cause comprises at least one of followings: the second network element is out of service, the second network element is switched off, the second network element is no longer associated with the first network element, or the second network element is unavailable.12.The method according to any one of claims 10 and 11, wherein the first de-registration acknowledgement comprises an indication for indicating when the second network element is de-registered.13.The method according to any one of claims 2 and 3, further comprising:transmitting, by the third network element, a first release request to a fourth network element in a network side of the network, wherein the first release request is used for requesting release of a resource of the fourth network element that serves the second network element; andreceiving, by the third network element, a first release response from the fourth network element, wherein the first release response is used for indicating that the resource of the fourth network element that serves the second network element is released.14.The method according to claim 13, wherein the first release request comprises at least one of following parameters:an identifier of the second network element;an identifier of the first network element;an indication for indicating that the second network element is to be de-registered;a cause for de-registration of the second network element;an indication for indicating whether to maintain association information between the first network element and the second network element in the network;information of a service related to the second network element, wherein the information of the service comprises an identifier of the service and an indication for indicating to stop providing the service to the second network element; orreceiving, by the third network element, a data session release response from the SMF, wherein the data session release response is used for confirming release of a data plane (DP) resource.17.The method according to any one of claims 13 to 16, further comprising:transmitting, by the third network element, a second release request to a fifth network element, wherein the second release request is used for requesting release of an access network (AN) resource related to the second network element, and the second release request comprises at least one of an identifier of the second network element, or a cause for releasing the AN resource;receiving, by the third network element, a second release response from the fifth network element, wherein the second release response is used for indicating that the AN resource is released.18.A communication method, comprising:transmitting, by a second network element, a first network de-registration request to a first network element, wherein the first network de-registration request is used for requesting the first network element to de-register the second network element, wherein the second network element has registered with a network with assistance of the first network element at a terminal side; andreceiving, by the fourth network element, a third release response from the sixth network element, wherein the third release response is used for indicating that the resource of the sixth network element that serves the second network element is released.30.The method according to any one of claims 27 to 29, further comprising:receiving, by the fourth network element, a first de-registration notification from the first network element to notify that the second network element is to be de-registered, wherein the first de-registration notification comprises at least one of an identifier of the second network element, an identifier of the first network element, an indication for indicating that the second network element is to be de-registered, an indication for indicating when the second network element is de-registered, or a terminal side cause for de-registration of the second network element; andtransmitting, by the second network element, a service profile de-registration acknowledgement to the seventh network element, wherein the service profile de-registration acknowledgement is used for is indicative of a reception of the service profile de-registration notification.77.A communication method, comprising:receiving, by a seventh network element, a first service profile de-registration request from a second network element, wherein the seventh network element is used for managing a service profile of the second network element, the second network element has registered with a network with assistance of a first network element at a terminal side, and the first service profile de-registration request is used for requesting the seventh network element to de-register the service profile of the second network element; andtransmitting, by the seventh network element, a first service profile de-registration response to the second network element, wherein the service profile de-registration response is used for indicating removal of the service profile of the second network element.78.The method according to claim 77, wherein the first service profile de-registration request comprises at least one of the followings:an identifier of the first network element;an identifier of the second network element;an identifier of a service profile to be removed;a service discontinuation time indication for indicating when the second network element stops providing the service; oran indication to de-register the service profile of the second network element.79.The method according to any one of claims 77 and 78, further comprising:receiving, by the seventh network element, a second service profile de-registration request from at least one of a third network element and a fourth network element, wherein the seventh network element is used for managing a service profile of the second network element, the second network element has registered with a network with assistance of a first network element at a terminal side, the at least one of the third network element or the fourth network element is a network element at a network side, and the second service profile de-registration request is used for requesting the seventh network element to de-register the service profile of the second network element;removing, by the seventh network element, the service profile of the second network element; andtransmitting, by the seventh network element, a second service profile de-registration response to the at least one of the third network element or the fourth network element, wherein the service profile de-registration response is used for indicating removal of the service profile of the second network element.80.The method according to claim 79, wherein the second service profile de-registration request comprises at least one of the followings:an identifier of the first network element;an identifier of the second network element;an identifier of a service profile to be removed;a cause for de-registration of the service profile of the second network element;
