[0002] Traditionally, skewered grilling, which involves grilling meat, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients on skewers, has often been difficult to do at home because it requires charcoal or gas as the heat source, and has therefore mostly been served in restaurants. However, as the demand for cooking and hobbies have become more diverse, various proposals have been made for skewer grills that can be used in the home.

Furthermore, the base is provided with an L-shaped mounting section that goes halfway around the grill, and the skewer rotor can be mounted on the mounting section in the longitudinal or lateral direction in a freely detachable manner.

This embodiment is suitable for reheating cooked skewers, such as fried foods, or for cooking vegetables, such as onions, bell peppers, broad beans, carrots, and lotus root, on skewers. These grills are capable of cooking even without a door, because there is little risk of parts of the skewers (water, oils, and fats such as offal) splashing onto the front side.
[0044] (Third Embodiment) A third embodiment will be described using Figures 17 to 22. The third embodiment is a skewer grill in which a notch (hereinafter referred to as the first notch 20) having the same shape as the first notch 20 described in the first embodiment and a notch (hereinafter referred to as the second notch 22) having the same shape as the second notch 22 described in the first embodiment are provided on the edge of a rectangular casing. In the third embodiment, instead of the connecting member 19, a plate-shaped member 27 having a length substantially equal to the longitudinal length of the rectangular casing is used. The skewer grill according to the third embodiment is used by placing charcoal in the rectangular casing and securing the skewers in the notches provided on the edge of the rectangular casing. The casing material is not particularly limited as long as it can be used with charcoal in the casing. The size of the rectangular casing is also not particularly limited. To give a specific size, the width is 10 to 30 cm and the length is 20 to 40 cm. Conventionally, cookers that use charcoal fire inside the housing often use a grill placed on top of the housing. However, when skewered food is cooked on the grill, depending on the position of the food, the skewers may burn or break. This embodiment features a rectangular housing with a first notch 20 and a second notch 22 inside the housing. By engaging the skewers in these notches, the skewers are secured and can be placed in contact with the plate-shaped member 27. This prevents the skewers from being burned by direct exposure to the fire when cooking. Furthermore, since cooking can be done without a grill, cleanup is easier, especially when used outdoors. Figure 17 is a front view of the skewer grill (which can also be considered a longitudinal side view). The front view and rear view (which can also be considered a left side view and a right side view) are common to both. The character string cut out in the center of the front view is not limited to this character string, but can be any suitable character, graphic, symbol, or combination thereof. Figure 18 is a side view of the skewer grill (which can also be considered a transverse side view).In this embodiment, the bottom portion of the skewer is cut out in a slanted rectangular shape, but the same shape may also be used. In this case, the left and right side views are the same. Furthermore, if the front and side views feature cutouts of other characters, figures, symbols, or combinations thereof, the height of the cutouts may be different between the front and back views, and the right and left side views. Figure 19 is a plan view of the skewer grill. The distance between the longitudinal member of the rectangular housing and the plate-like member 27 is approximately 7 to 12 mm. Claims
1. A skewer grill comprising: an exterior body with an opening that serves as the entrance to a heating chamber; an interior body inside the exterior body that forms a heating chamber for heating skewers; heating means that is located on top of the interior body and heats the skewers; a door with a shaft that covers the upper front of the heating chamber; a top plate that covers the lower front of the heating chamber and has a first cutout for engaging the skewers; a connecting member that has a second cutout for supporting the skewers; and a tray that is placed below within the heating chamber, wherein the door shaft is rotatably fitted to the upper front of the heating chamber, the tray and the top plate are connected via the connecting member, and the skewer is held by the first cutout and the second cutout.
2. A skewer grill comprising: an exterior body with an opening that serves as the entrance to a heating chamber; an interior body that forms a heating chamber inside the exterior body for heating skewered foods; heating means that is provided on top of the interior body and heats the skewered foods; a top plate that covers the lower front of the heating chamber and has a first cutout for engaging the skewered foods; a connecting member that has a second cutout for supporting the skewered foods; and a tray that is placed below inside the heating chamber, wherein the door shaft is rotatably fitted to the upper front of the heating chamber, the tray and the top plate are connected via the connecting member, and the skewered foods are held by the first cutout and the second cutout.
3. A skewer grill according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the portion of the first notch that holds the skewer is an equilateral triangular notch.
4. A skewer grill comprising: a rectangular housing; one or more first cutouts provided on the upper edge of the housing; a plate-like member having second cutouts at positions corresponding to the first cutouts; and the plate-like member being connected to the inside of the housing so as to hold skewers for skewering in the first cutouts and the second cutouts.
