[0035] Some example embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below with continued reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0036] Creation of special effects

[0037] FIG. 2A illustrates an example special effect editing interface 200A, according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The special effect editing interface 200A can be provided by the electronic device 110 shown in FIG. 1, for example.

[0038] As shown in FIG. 2A, the special effect editing interface 200A can include a plurality of panels, such as a scene panel 205, a node graph panel 210, a preview panel 215, and a configuration panel 230.

[0039] In some embodiments, the special effect editing interface 200A can provide a preset leaderboard component to support adding corresponding leaderboard content in a special effect based on the preset leaderboard component.

[0040] As an example, the electronic device 110 can receive a user’s adding request and can add a leaderboard component 220 to the scene panel 205. Accordingly, the preview panel 215 can display a preview result of the leaderboard component 220, such as leaderboard content 225, for example.

[0041] In some embodiments, the configuration panel 230 can provide one or more controls for configuring configuration information of the leaderboard component. In some embodiments, the configuration panel 230 can include a style configuration control for configuring a display style of the content.

[0042] In some embodiments, the style configuration control can include a configuration control for configuring a color style of the leaderboard content. A user can set a color of a panel of the leaderboard content through the configuration control, for example.

[0043] In some embodiments, the style configuration control can include a configuration control for configuring a background style of the leaderboard content. A user can set a texture or an image of a background of the leaderboard content through the configuration control, for example.

[0044] In some embodiments, the style configuration control can include a configuration control for configuring a font style of the leaderboard content. A user can set a font of a displayed text of the leaderboard content through the configuration control, for example.

[0045] In yet some embodiments, the configuration panel 230 can also provide other configuration controls for other types of configuration information. For example, the configuration panel 230 can provide a configuration control for configuring a leaderboard type of the leaderboard content. A user can set a data range corresponding to ranking information presented by the leaderboard content displayed in a special effect through the configuration control, for example. Such a data range can indicate rankings of all friends, rankings of a specific region, etc., for example. The region can be a region specified by a user running the special effect, or a location determined based on a user’s authorization.

[0046] In some embodiments, the configuration panel 230 may, for example, further provide configuration controls for configuring ranking information of the leaderboard content. The user may, for example, configure the controls to configure a ranking strategy of the leaderboard, e.g., in descending order of scores or in ascending order of time, etc.

[0047] In yet some embodiments, the configuration panel 230 may, for example, further provide configuration controls for configuring display position, size, etc. information of the leaderboard content.

[0048] Further, after the configuration of the leaderboard content is completed, the user may, for example, create such an effect via the effect editing interface 200A, so that the effect can trigger the presentation of the corresponding leaderboard content.

[0049] Operation of the effect

[0050] The process of the interface interaction will be described below with reference to FIGS. 2B and 2C. In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may, for example, receive a request to run a first effect, and accordingly present a first interaction interface of the first effect.

[0051] In some embodiments, the first effect may, for example, be created based on the effect editing interface 200A described above. Such a first effect may, for example, be provided in the application 120 to support user selection and triggering. Alternatively, the electronic device 110 may, for example, also support importing an effect file of the first effect, and triggering the running of the first effect.

[0052] Taking FIG. 2B as an example, the electronic device 110 may, for example, select a first effect to be run via the control 240 in the work shooting interface 200B. For example, upon receiving the selection of the control 240, the electronic device 110 may, for example, present a set of candidate effects. Further, the user may, for example, select a first effect from the set of candidate effects, and may, for example, trigger the running of the first effect by triggering a shooting control in the work shooting interface 200B.

[0053] Further, during the running of the effect, the electronic device 110 may, for example, obtain a first set of interaction operations associated with the first effect. Depending on the specific design of the first effect, the user may, for example, interact in an appropriate manner.

[0054] As an example, the first effect may, for example, be a game effect. The user may, for example, interact in a game by screen touch operation, body motion, etc. The present disclosure does not intend to limit the specific interaction manner of the first set of interaction operations.

[0055] Further, the electronic device 110 may, for example, present a first leaderboard 235 (also referred to as a ranking list) as shown in FIG. 2B at a preset time of the first effect based on the running logic of the first effect.

[0056] In some embodiments, the first leaderboard 235 can be used to indicate the first ranking information of the first evaluation of the first set of interaction operations. As an example, the first evaluation can indicate the score obtained by the user through the first interaction operation, or based on the time consumed by the first set of interaction operations, etc.

[0057] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 can obtain the ranking data associated with the first special effect from the server 130 when the first special effect is triggered to run. Further, the electronic device 110 can determine the first ranking information of the first evaluation based on the ranking data.

[0058] For example, the ranking data can indicate the top 100 scores in the target region. The electronic device 110 can locally generate the first leaderboard 235 based on the current score of the user to show the ranking corresponding to the current score of the user. The region can be the region specified by the user running the special effect, or the location determined based on the authorization of the user.

[0059] As introduced above, the display style of the first leaderboard 235 can be determined based on the configuration information obtained from the special effect editing interface 200A described with reference to FIG. 2A. For example, the color, background pattern, font, etc. of the first leaderboard 235 can be configured based on the configuration controls introduced above.

[0060] Thus, embodiments of the present disclosure can present leaderboard content configured based on a preset leaderboard component during the running of a special effect, thereby improving the development freedom of the special effect and enhancing the interest of users in using the special effect.

[0061] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 2B, the first leaderboard 235 can include a first set of display positions, for example, three positions at the top. As shown, such first display positions can be associated with a first style, and can be used to display content associated with a set of preset rankings (e.g., top three).

[0062] In addition, the first leaderboard 235 can also include a second set of display positions below the first set of display positions. Unlike the first set of display positions, the second set of display positions can correspond to a second style.

[0063] For example, the first set of display positions can include a larger avatar display area, and can display the corresponding ranking above the avatar. The second set of display positions can include a smaller avatar display area, and the avatar display area, the ranking, the username, and the evaluation information (e.g., score and time consumed) can be arranged horizontally.

[0064] In some embodiments, unlike the first set of display positions that fixedly display preset rankings, the content displayed by the second set of display positions can be determined based on the target ranking of the current user.

[0065] In some embodiments, if the target rank of the current user is within a set of preset ranks displayed in the first set of display positions, the electronic device 110 can display a first element associated with the current user at a first position in the first set of display positions. For example, if the current user has a score of top three, the electronic device 110 can display the user's avatar, name, and score, etc. at the corresponding position of the respective rank.

[0066] Additionally, the electronic device 110 can display at least one second element associated with at least one preset rank at a second set of display positions below. For example, depending on the number of users included in the list, the electronic device 110 may, for example, present up to three preset ranks, e.g., fourth to sixth.

[0067] In some embodiments, if the list data of the first special effect accumulates no more than six users, the electronic device 110 can display the rankings of the remaining users at the bottom. Additionally, the electronic device 110 may, for example, also display a prompt in the first list 235 about inviting other friends to participate in the first special effect to facilitate the first special effect being shared to other users.

[0068] In some embodiments, if the target rank of the current user is not within a set of preset ranks, the electronic device 110 can display a set of third elements associated with a set of preset ranks at the first set of display positions. For example, the electronic device 110 can display the top three users in the list at the first set of display positions.

[0069] Further, the electronic device 110 can display a fourth element associated with the current user at a second position of the second set of display positions. The fourth element may, for example, indicate the current rank of the target user.

[0070] Further, the electronic device 110 can also display a fifth element associated with an additional user at a third position of the second set of display positions, where the additional user has a rank lower than the target rank.

[0071] For example, if the current user has a rank of tenth, the electronic device 110 displays the data of the ninth, tenth, and eleventh in the second set of display positions of the first list 235 in turn. Thus, embodiments of the present disclosure not only enable the user to understand their specific rank but also the information of other users with adjacent ranks.

[0072] In some embodiments, the first list 235 shown in FIG. 2B can correspond to a friend list. Additionally, the first list 235 can also display second ranking information of the first evaluation. For example, the first list 235 can also display the rank of the current user in the target region.

[0073] In some embodiments, unlike the first ranking information that is detailed, the second ranking information may, for example, only show the current user's ranking.

[0074] In some embodiments, if the first leaderboard 235 is a regional leaderboard, the electronic device 110 may, based on the location information of the first user, obtain corresponding ranking data, and present a regional leaderboard of the corresponding region. The location information may be a preset region selected by the user in the special effect interaction process, or the location information may also be a location determined based on the user's authorization.

[0075] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may, for example, after completing the recording of the work, click the complete button 245, and may trigger the publication of the recorded target work.

[0076] In some embodiments, in response to receiving the publication request, the electronic device 110 may publish such a target work. The target work may, for example, include both the first visual content associated with the first set of interaction operations (e.g., the special effect interaction process) and the second visual content corresponding to the first leaderboard.

[0077] Additionally, the electronic device 110 may also send the first evaluation of the current user to the service device (e.g., the server 130) in response to receiving the publication request, to update the ranking data of the first special effect.

[0078] In some embodiments, if no valid interaction of the user is received in the special effect interaction process, the electronic device 110 may, for example, not send the first evaluation (e.g., an empty evaluation) of the current user.

[0079] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 2B, the electronic device 110 may, for example, also support the user using different special effects in the process of segmented recording. As an example, after completing the recording of the first segment of the work based on the first special effect, the electronic device 110 may also select a second special effect based on the user's triggering of the special effect control 240.

[0080] Further, based on the similar processes described above, the electronic device 110 may, in response to receiving a first request to run the second special effect, present a second interaction interface of the second special effect; obtain a second set of interaction operations associated with the second special effect.

[0081] Further, the electronic device 110 may, in the second interaction interface of the second special effect, present a second leaderboard indicating second ranking information of second evaluations determined based on the second set of interaction operations.

[0082] Additionally, after the recording of the second segment is completed, the electronic device 110 can add a second segment corresponding to the second special effect. The second segment can include third visual content (e.g., a special effect interaction process) associated with the second set of interaction operations and fourth visual content corresponding to the second leaderboard.

[0083] In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure can support the respective application of multiple special effects in a multi-segment shooting process, and can independently manage ranking information corresponding to the multiple special effects.

[0084] The specific process of managing ranking information in a multi-segment shooting process will be further introduced below with reference to FIG. 2C.

[0085] As shown in FIG. 2C, at 270, the electronic device 110 can present a shooting page of the application 120 based on the operation of the user 140. Further, in the process of recording video segment A based on “special effect A”, at 272, the application 120 can trigger the recording of video segment A. At 274, the special effect module 250 can send the evaluation information of the user about the special effect A, for example, the first score, to the application 120.

[0086] Further, the user can trigger the recording of video segment B based on “special effect B”. At 276, the application 120 can trigger the recording of video segment B. At 278, the special effect module 250 can send the evaluation information of the user about the special effect B, for example, the second score, to the application 120.

[0087] Further, the user can trigger the recording of video segment C based on “special effect C”. At 280, the application 120 can trigger the recording of video segment C. At 282, the special effect module 250 can send the evaluation information of the user about the special effect C, for example, the third score, to the application 120.

[0088] Further, after the recording of the above-mentioned three video segments is completed, the electronic device 110 can receive the publishing request of the user 140 at 284. Accordingly, at 286, the application 120 can integrate the corresponding evaluation information of all special effects (i.e., special effect A, special effect B, and special effect C), and send the corresponding message data to the server 130 to update the ranking data of each special effect.

[0089] In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure can more efficiently manage the evaluation information generated by different special effect segments, thereby improving the real-time and effectiveness of the ranking data.
