Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for assessing colorectal cancer or a precancerous condition thereof, said method comprising (a) determining the level CLEC3B (C-type lectin domain family 3 member B) in a blood, serum or plasma sample from the subject, and assessing colorectal cancer or the precancerous condition thereof based on the level of CLEC3B determined in step a). The present invention further relates to computer-implemented methods, databases, devices, and uses related thereto.
