[0004] These conventional protective clothing had room for improvement in the following points. (1) When the wearer complains of physical discomfort such as suspected heatstroke, although it is necessary to take emergency measures such as quickly removing the protective clothing to cool the body, due to factors such as people around being panicked or the wearer's consciousness being hazy and weak, the fastener used when putting on and taking off the protective clothing may not be opened properly, and the emergency measures may not be advanced quickly. (2) In the mode of handling the external air compressor, there are difficulties in workability. (3) Regarding the intake air sent into the inside of the protective clothing, no device has been considered to enhance the cooling efficiency of the wearer.

[0005] Therefore, one of the purposes of the present invention is to provide protective clothing that is more convenient from the perspective of the safety of the wearer.

[0006] The present invention, made to solve the above problems, is a protective suit having a main body, characterized in that the main body is provided with a splitting portion that can be irreversibly split. The present invention may use a thread attached to the main body as the splitting portion, and the main body may be made splittable by pulling the thread. The present invention may use a slit provided in the main body as the splitting portion, and the main body may be made splittable from the location where the slit is provided. The present invention may use a weak point provided in the main body as the splitting portion, and the main body may be made splittable along the weak point. The present invention may provide the splitting portion on the front of the main body. The present invention may provide the splitting portion as a combination of a slit or weak point provided on the front of the main body and a thread attached along part or all of the slit or weak point.

[0007] Furthermore, the present invention may further include an intake section for drawing air into the main body, and an exhaust section provided at any location on the main body. The present invention may further include a guide section positioned on the inside of the back of the main body, with the intake section provided around the torso of the back of the main body, and the guide section configured to send air from the intake section toward the head side of the main body. The present invention may be configured such that the intake section has a filter section and the exhaust section has a check valve structure. The present invention may also include the exhaust sections provided on the head, arms, torso, and legs of the main body, respectively.

[0008] According to the present invention, protective clothing that is more convenient from the standpoint of the wearer's safety can be provided.

[0010] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0011] <1> Overall Configuration (Figure 1) The first embodiment of the protective suit according to the present invention will be described below. The protective suit according to this embodiment is a protective suit used in various work sites such as construction sites and medical sites, and the protective suit shown in Figure 1 is a protective suit intended for use in construction sites where there is a risk of exposure to hazardous pollutants such as asbestos and dioxins. The protective suit according to this embodiment comprises at least a main body portion 10 and a split portion 20. Details of each component will be described below.

[0012] <2> Main body (Figure 1) The main body 10 is an element that constitutes the main part of the protective suit. In this embodiment, the main body 10 has a shape that covers almost the entire body of the wearer and creates a sealed state, and includes parts such as the head 11, torso 12, arms 13, and legs 14. In this invention, "sealed state" refers to a degree of sealing required in various situations where the protective suit according to the present invention is used, and is not limited to a state in which the wearer is completely airtight.

[0013] <2.1> Addition of opening and closing means (Figure 1) The main body 10 according to the present invention is provided with an opening and closing means 15 that the wearer uses to open and close the protective suit when putting it on or taking it off. In the present invention, the opening and closing means 15 employs an opening and closing mechanism such as a zipper, seal, or hook-and-loop fastener. In the protective suit shown in Figure 1, the front body 121 of the main body 10 is provided with a zipper that extends in the vertical direction.

[0014] <2.2> Fabric of the main body In the present invention, the fabric constituting the main body 10 may be any fabric that can block harmful pollutants and the like that to be exposed to, and it is preferable that the fabric has the characteristic of being easily split by the split portion 20 described later. In this embodiment, polyethylene nonwoven fabric is used for the main body 10.

[0015] <2.3> Shape of the main body In the present invention, the shape of the main body 10 is not particularly limited, and is not limited to a configuration that can completely seal the wearer's entire body. That is, the head portion 11 of the main body 10 may be formed in a hood shape, and goggles or a mask (not shown in Figure 1) may be worn separately to ensure the prevention of exposure to harmful contaminants, or a window portion (not shown in Figure 1) made of a transparent material may be provided on the face side of the head portion 11 of the main body 10, so that the wearer's head 11 is completely covered while allowing them to see outside through the window portion.

[0016] <3> Split section (Figures 1 to 3) The split section 20 is provided on the main body 10 separately from the opening and closing means 15 described above, and is a part that irreversibly splits the main body 10 when necessary. The purpose of splitting the main body 10 is to release the sealed state of the wearer by the protective suit without using the opening and closing means 15 described above. In the present invention, since the split section 20 irreversibly splits the main body 10, the protective suit cannot be reused after it has been split.

[0017] <3.1> Structure of the Splitting Section (Figures 1 and 2) In the present invention, the structure of the splitting section 20 is not particularly limited, and any mechanism that can irreversibly split the main body 10 may be used. For example, in Figure 2(a), a thread 21 attached to the main body 10 is used as the splitting section 20, and the tip of the thread 21 is exposed from the main body 10 to form an exposed section 211. The main body 10 can be split by tearing the attached portion using this exposed section 211. In the present invention, it is not particularly limited whether the thread 21 is provided on the outer surface side or the inner surface side of the main body 10, but for example, if the thread 21 is provided on the inner surface side, it is thought that the main body 10 will be more easily wrapped around the thread 21 when it is pulled, thus making it easier to split the main body 10.

[0018] Furthermore, in Figure 2(b), a slit 22 is provided in the main body 10 as the splitting section 20. By performing a tearing operation using this slit 22 as a guide, the main body 10 can be split along the planned tearing trajectory.

[0019] In addition, although not shown in the diagram, a tearable portion 20 may be formed by providing a separate weak point in the main body portion 10. One example of a weak point is to create perforations in the fabric of the main body portion 10. By performing a tearing operation along this weak point, the main body portion 10 can be torn more easily.

[0020] <3.2> Number and Position of Split Sections (Figures 1 and 3) In the present invention, the number and position of split sections 20 relative to the main body 10 are not particularly limited. For example, in Figure 1, one split section 20 is provided around the opening and closing mechanism 15 provided on the front panel 121 of the main body 10 and along the direction of extension of the opening and closing mechanism 15, so that the degree of opening of the main body 10 is approximately the same as that of the opening and closing mechanism 15.

[0021] Furthermore, in Figure 3(a), the split section 20 is provided so as to encircle the waist of the torso 12 of the main body 10, and the main body 10 is made separable into upper and lower parts, allowing the wearer's upper body to be immediately exposed.

[0022] Furthermore, in Figure 3(b), two split sections 20 are provided so as to encircle the base (armpit) of the arm section 13 of the main body section 10, allowing the left and right arm sections 13 to be separated from the torso section 12, and enabling immediate access to the wearer's armpit area, which has excellent cooling efficiency for body temperature.

[0023] <4> Effects and Effects The protective suit according to this embodiment has at least one of the following effects and effects: (1) In addition to the opening and closing means 15 used for the wearer to put on and take off the suit, a split section 20 is provided in the main body 10 that can be irreversibly split, so the main body 10 can be quickly opened without using the opening and closing means 15 as needed, improving the convenience of removing the protective suit from the wearer in emergencies, etc. (2) By designing the number and position of the split sections 20 in an appropriate and desirable manner, a protective suit that is more considerate of the wearer's safety can be provided.

[0024] <1> Overall Configuration (Figure 4) A second embodiment of the protective suit according to the present invention will be described below. As shown in Figure 4, the protective suit according to this embodiment comprises at least a main body 10, an intake section 30, an exhaust section 40, and a guide section 50. Details of each component will be described below.

[0025] <2> Main body The main body 10 in this embodiment can adopt the same configuration as the main body 10 described in Embodiment 1, so a detailed explanation will be omitted.

[0026] <3> Intake section (Figure 4(b)) The intake section 30 is a part for supplying air from the outside to the inside of the main body 10. In the present invention, the mechanism, number, arrangement, etc. of the intake section 30 are not particularly limited. In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 4(b), the intake section 30 is made up of a fan and is provided in two places around the waist of the back panel 122 of the torso 12.

[0027] <3.1> Addition of Filter Section In addition, a filter section may be provided in the intake section 30 in the present invention. The type of filter section is not particularly limited in the present invention, and an appropriate material can be selected according to the application of the protective clothing according to the present invention. For example, a HEPA filter that has a high dust collection effect can be used.

[0028] <4> Exhaust section (Figure 4(a)) The exhaust section 40 is a part for discharging air from inside the main body 10 to the outside. In the present invention, the mechanism, number, arrangement, etc. of the exhaust section 40 are not particularly limited, but from the viewpoint of preventing air from entering the interior from the exhaust section 40, it is preferable that it has a check valve structure. In the protective suit shown in Figure 4(a), the exhaust section 40 is provided in two places around the waist of the torso 12, one place around the hem of each arm 13, and one place around the thigh of each leg 14.

[0029] <5> Guide section (Figures 4(b), 5) The guide section 50 is a part that guides the air sent from the intake section 30 to a desired area. The guide section 50 can be any form that ensures a predetermined distance between the wearer and the main body 10 and secures a ventilation space, such as having a solid structure with space inside, having a hollow shape to secure space inside, being made of a mesh-like member, or being made of a frame-like member. Furthermore, the present invention does not particularly limit the number or arrangement of the guide sections 50, but they should be designed appropriately from the viewpoint of ensuring good air circulation inside the main body 10. In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 5, the guide section 50 is made of a cushion-like member provided between the back panel 122 and the cover 124 of the torso 12, and air from the intake section 30 provided around the waist is sent to the wearer's neck by passing through the guide section 50 via ventilation holes 123 provided so as to penetrate the back panel 122.

[0030] <6> Effects The protective suit according to this embodiment has at least one of the effects described below. (1) By forcibly sending air into the main body 10 with the intake section 30 and expelling the air with the exhaust section 40, heat trapped inside the protective suit can be immediately discharged. (2) By employing a check valve structure in the exhaust section 40, harmful pollutants from the outside cannot flow in from the exhaust section 40 when the intake section 30 is not differential. (3) By improving the air circulation inside the main body 10 with the guide section 50, a higher heat dissipation effect can be obtained. (4) When providing the guide section 50, only the processing work of forming ventilation holes in the back body 122 and the processing work of attaching the cover 124 to the back body 122 so as to cover the guide section 50 is required, so an increase in manufacturing costs can be suppressed. (5) By configuring the guide section 50 to send air to the wearer's head and neck, the cooling effect on the wearer can be enhanced.

[0031] <1> Overall Configuration (Figure 6) A third embodiment of the protective suit according to the present invention will be described below. As shown in Figure 6, the protective suit according to this embodiment has a configuration that simultaneously includes the split section 20 described in Embodiment 1 and the intake section 30, exhaust section 40, and guide section 50 described in Embodiment 2.

[0032] <2> Effects The protective suit according to this embodiment has at least one of the effects described below. (1) In addition to the opening and closing means 15 used for the wearer to put on and take off the suit, a split section 20 is provided that can irreversibly split the main body 10, so the main body 10 can be quickly opened without using the opening and closing means 15 as needed, improving the convenience of removing the protective suit from the wearer in emergencies, etc. (2) By designing the number and position of the split sections 20 in an appropriate and desirable manner, a protective suit that is more considerate of the wearer's safety can be provided. (3) By forcibly sending air into the main body 10 with the intake section 30 and expelling the air with the exhaust section 40, the heat trapped inside the protective suit can be immediately discharged. (4) By adopting a check valve structure in the exhaust section 40, harmful pollutants from the outside do not flow in from the exhaust section 40 when the intake section 30 is not operating. (5) The guide section 50 improves air circulation inside the main body 10, thereby achieving a higher heat dissipation effect. (6) The guide section 50 is configured to direct air to the wearer's head 11 and neck, thereby enhancing the cooling effect on the wearer.
