Abstract
Claims
1. An exterior body having sides formed by connecting a plurality of surface members to each other, wherein each surface member has a convex portion and a groove portion that fit together with each other, the convex portion is formed in a first portion which is part of the outer circumference of the surface member, and the groove portion is formed in a second portion which is part of the outer circumference of the surface member and is different from the first portion in which the convex portion is formed.
2. An exterior body according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of surface members are connected to each other at a predetermined assembly angle, and the exterior body can be assembled by moving the surface members relatively from a state in which a part of the first portion of the outer circumference on which the convex portion of one surface member formed and a part of the second portion of the outer circumference on which the groove portion of the other surface member formed are in contact with each other, to the assembly angle, and fitting the convex portion of one surface member and the groove portion of the other surface member together.
3. An exterior body according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of surface members are connected to each other at a predetermined assembled angle, the first portion and the second portion are arc-shaped relative to each other, and at the assembled angle, the first portion of at least one surface member abuts against the second portion of another surface member, and a convex portion formed on the first portion fits into a groove formed on the second portion of the other surface member.
4. A method for assembling an exterior body, comprising: using a plurality of surface members, each having a convex portion and a groove portion that fit together with each other on an outer curved surface that protrudes outward; intersecting a pair of surface members at an angle greater than the angle at which they were assembled, with at least a portion of the convex portion of one surface member and the groove portion of the other surface member in contact; and moving the pair of surface members relative to each other in a direction that reduces the angle between them until it becomes the angle at which they were assembled, while widening the fitting range between the convex portion of one surface member and the groove portion of the other surface member, thereby connecting the plurality of surface members to each other to form the surface of the exterior body.
5. An assembly jig for assembling an exterior body, wherein the exterior body has a side surface formed by connecting a plurality of surface members to each other, each surface member having a convex portion and a groove portion that fit together with each other, the convex portion being formed in a first portion which is part of the outer circumference of the surface member, and the groove portion being formed in a second portion which is part of the outer circumference of the surface member and is different from the first portion on which the convex portion is formed, the assembly jig for the exterior body comprises a plurality of plates on which the plurality of surface members are each placed, and a hinge portion which connects a pair of the plates to each other, wherein the plurality of surface members are each placed in predetermined positions on the plates, the hinge portion is rotated to wind them up with the surfaces on which the surface members are placed facing inward, and the convex portion and groove portion of the adjacent pair of surface members are fitted together to form an assembled side surface.
6. An assembly jig for an exterior body according to claim 5, wherein the surface member has permanent magnets at a plurality of locations on one side of the surface, and the plate of the assembly jig for an exterior body has a plurality of permanent magnets arranged in a direction that attracts the corresponding permanent magnets at positions corresponding to the plurality of permanent magnets arranged on the surface member side when the surface member is placed in the predetermined position.
