Abstract

The present invention is an outcome of the "2024 Service BM Overseas Expansion Support Project" managed by KOTRA, and the objective thereof is to provide an integrated system for inventory sharing and sales of products expanding into overseas markets, and, more particularly, the system comprises: a web server linked to a database constructed by collecting and storing, by a company terminal, information about products that can be distributed overseas from among products sold by domestic sellers; a website generation unit that, upon receipt of a sourcing cooperation request from a partner terminal located overseas through the web server, replicates the database, and then generates a replicated database-based partner-dedicated website by using a pre-established website template; a website deployment unit that, before deploying the partner-dedicated website generated by the website generation unit, configures sales products by requesting, from the partner terminal, a selection input for products to be handled from among the products in the database, and deploys, through a specialized hosting company, the partner-dedicated website on which the sales products are configured; and a product supply planning unit that, upon receipt of a purchase request for at least one product from a local buyer terminal overseas through the partner-dedicated website, establishes a product supply plan by identifying the inventory status of the product stored in a domestic logistics storage warehouse and a logistics storage warehouse of a partner company by using an integrated inventory management system.

Description

Inventory sharing and sales integration system for products entering overseas markets

[0001] The present invention relates to an inventory sharing and sales integration system for products entering overseas markets, derived as a result of the “2024 Service BM Overseas Expansion Support Project” organized by KOTRA. Specifically, it relates to a technology that provides sales routes for products to local customers in countries with product demand by proposing a business model that selects local small and medium-sized wholesalers already operating overseas as partners and integrates partners worldwide using IT infrastructure.

[0002] Recently, awareness of Korean products abroad has significantly improved, driven by the increased overseas activities of famous celebrities and active government support. In particular, as cross-border trade has become active again since COVID-19, it has been observed that the activities of overseas buyers seeking to purchase Korean products have also increased substantially.

[0003] Meanwhile, in the past, when seeking to sell Korean products overseas, it was common practice to register the goods on international sales sites like Amazon or sell them through overseas buyers. In this scenario, if products were sold by overseas buyers, complex procedures had to be followed to ship them abroad. However, there was a problem in that significant costs and time were incurred to supply the sold Korean products to the actual buyers, as domestic distribution and logistics were separated and customs procedures varied and were complex across different countries.

[0004] In order to resolve these problems, Korean published patent No. 10-2022-0101953 has proposed a technology for an integrated service provision system and method for overseas online sales, wherein a seller registers a product to be sold overseas on an overseas online market in a country selected by the seller, and when a purchase is made by an overseas buyer for the registered product, the product is received at a shipping agent and overseas delivery is performed.

[0005] Meanwhile, according to the aforementioned prior art, services such as product order management and product delivery agency are provided, which has the advantage of enabling sellers to easily conduct overseas online sales even if they lack experience in overseas sales. However, as shown in the embodiment of FIG. 1, there was a limitation in that the logistics structure in which the product is delivered from the domestic location to an overseas delivery agency and then transferred from the overseas delivery agency to the buyer resulted in high delivery costs and a significant amount of time required for delivery, which could not satisfy the buyer's satisfaction with the product purchase.
