The method comprises: acquiring a first group of images collected by a first camera apparatus of a vehicle, wherein the first group of images comprises at least one image frame; when the first group of images does not comprise pixels corresponding to a first object, controlling a second camera apparatus of the vehicle to acquire a second group of images, wherein the second group of images comprises at least one image frame; and on the basis of the second group of images, determining information of the first object. The technical solution can be applied to the field of intelligent driving of intelligent vehicles such as electric vehicles and new energy vehicles. When a front-view camera apparatus of a vehicle cannot detect road information, a camera apparatus with a variable yaw angle is controlled to acquire images in the orientation of the road information, such that relevant road information can be detected in a timely manner, thereby helping to ensure travel safety and traffic efficiency.
