Elevator installation arrangement and method

Abstract

An elevator installation arrangement (10) comprising: a prefabricated hoistway module (20), the prefabricated hoistway module comprising a bottom section (21) which is connectable on a pit foundation (30) located in the ground at a construction site; a prefabricated bottom extension (40) comprising an upper part (41) attached inside the bottom section (21) of the prefabricated hoistway module (20), and a lower extension part (42) protruding downwards below the bottom section (21); wherein the prefabricated bottom extension (40) comprises preinstalled fixing points (9, 9a) for fastening guide rails (7, 8) and other elevator components for a hoistway pit zone.
