Abstract

The present invention discloses a methods and devices to make a high-efficacy digital mirror with microLED display with substrate with a backplane pixel structure on the substrate, microLED's on the substrate, an encapsulating structure covering the substrate, pixels, and microLEDs by and forming a mirror stack, on top of the encapsulation structure enabling a light generated by the microLEDs to pass through the substrate toward a viewer. In addition, the use of dielectric mirrors and concaveness is also disclosed. Furthermore, the structure allowing the light and mirror reflection surface to be away from the substrate is also disclosed. In addition, extended mirror layers are discussed as well.
