Abstract

The energy absorption device (3) comprises a base plate (33), an energy absorption portion (34) and a connecting portion (31), wherein the energy absorption portion (34) comprises a cylindrical side wall (341) and a partition plate (342) located in an inner cavity of the cylindrical side wall (341), and at least area portion of the partition plate (342) is parallel to the direction of the depth of the cylindrical side wall (341); one end of the cylindrical side wall (341) is fixedly connected to a first side surface of the base plate (33); and the connecting portion (31) is fixedly connected to a second side surface of the base plate (33) and can be connected to a preset position of a vehicle body. By means of the energy absorption device (3), when a collision occurs at the front of a vehicle, energy absorption and buffering can be provided for internal devices of the vehicle, thereby avoiding excessive intrusion into a front wall, and improving the collision resistance of the vehicle.
