Abstract
A full automation system includes a preparation part with first and second devices, an amplification part with an amplification device, communicatable stations, first and second transporting devices, and a controller. The first device extracts nucleic acid from samples in an extraction container and includes a first stage. The second device performs amplification reaction setup for the extracted samples using a reaction container and includes a pipette module and a second stage. The amplification device amplifies the samples in an amplification stage. A first communicatable station is adjacent to the first device for placing the extraction container, and a second communicatable station is adjacent to the second device for placing the extraction and reaction containers. The transporting devices move containers between stages and stations. The controller operates the devices, controls transporting of the extraction and reaction containers between stations and stages, and communicates whether containers are present on the communicatable stations.
