Abstract

The invention relates to a power electronics converter (1) having a plurality of power electronics converter cells (3), wherein each power electronics converter cell (3) has a high-voltage unit and a low-voltage unit, the high-voltage units of the plurality of power electronics converter cells (3) can be connected to a high-voltage network (5), the low-voltage units of the plurality of power electronics converter cells (3) can be connected to a low-voltage network (7), the high-voltage units have a first star point (9) and the low-voltage units have a second star point (11), and the first star point (9) and the second star point (11) can be electrically connected in order to form a common star point. The invention also relates to a method (100) for producing a power electronics converter (1), in particular according to one of the preceding claims, having at least the following steps: providing a plurality of power electronics converter cells (3), each power electronics converter cell (3) having a high-voltage unit and a low-voltage unit, connecting the high-voltage units in order to provide a high-voltage network connection, connecting the low-voltage units in order to provide a low-voltage network connection, and connecting the high-voltage network connection and the low-voltage network connection to a common star point.
