Description

Financial automation equipment compatible with front and rear terminals

[0001] The present invention relates to a financial automation device compatible with front and rear units, and more specifically, to a financial automation device compatible with front and rear units in which a vertical conveyor frame can be compatiblely applied to the front and rear units, thereby allowing the frame for the front unit to be applied to the rear unit for compatible use.

[0002] A financial automation machine is an automated device that can provide basic financial services, such as deposits or withdrawals, regardless of time or place and without the need for bank employees.

[0003] The main body frame of the financial automation machine may include a cassette storage section that accommodates multiple cassettes for storing banknotes, and a rejected bill storage section that stores banknotes identified as abnormal bills or unclaimed bills that customers have not claimed.

[0004] Financial automation devices can be classified into front-side and rear-side units based on the direction in which the cassette is dispensed. The front-side unit is structured such that the cassette is dispensed through the front of the main body frame where the banknote withdrawal section is located, and the rear-side unit is structured such that the cassette is dispensed through the rear of the main body frame, which is the side opposite to where the banknote withdrawal section is located.

[0005] A horizontal conveyor path connected to a banknote withdrawal unit is provided on the upper part of the front and rear units, and a vertical conveyor path may be provided downward from one side of the horizontal conveyor path and connected to a plurality of cassettes and a reject bill storage unit to convey banknotes.

[0006] Conventionally, the vertical conveyor is provided in a fixed state on the rear side of the main body frame, so there is no problem when applied to the front side, but when applied to the rear side, the vertical conveyor must be positioned on the front side of the main body frame and the banknote movement path must be changed so that the vertical conveyor is also connected to the front side, so there is a problem that the vertical conveyor cannot be applied interchangeably to the front side and the rear side.

[0007] As such, according to the frame structure in which the vertical conveyor is not compatible with the front and rear machines, the frame for the front machine and the frame for the rear machine must be manufactured in separate molds, which leads to the problem of increased manufacturing costs for the frame.

[0008] Prior art related to this is disclosed in Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1094344 (Cassette Frame of Financial Automation Equipment).

[0009] The present invention was devised to solve the aforementioned problems and aims to provide a financial automation device capable of applying a vertical conveyor path to the front and rear sides interchangeably.

[0010] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a financial automation device compatible with front and rear machines, which can reduce the frame manufacturing cost of the financial automation device by enabling the vertical conveyor frame for the front machine and the vertical conveyor frame for the rear machine to be manufactured from a single family mold.

[0011] A financial automation device of the present invention, capable of being compatible with front and rear machines for implementing the purpose described above, comprises: a main body frame having a plurality of cassette storage compartments for storing banknotes formed in a stacked structure; a horizontal conveying path provided horizontally on the upper part of the main body frame and connected to a withdrawal compartment provided at the front for conveying banknotes; and a vertical conveying path connected downward from the rear of the horizontal conveying path for conveying banknotes between the cassettes stored in the plurality of cassette storage compartments and the horizontal conveying path, wherein the vertical conveying path frame constituting the vertical conveying path is selected to be compatible with either a vertical conveying path frame for a front machine that is provided in a fixed structure coupled to the rear of the main body frame, or a vertical conveying path frame for a rear machine that is provided in a structure that rotates around a hinge part provided on one side of the rear of the main body frame to open and close the rear of the main body frame.

[0012] When the above-mentioned vertical conveyor frame is applied as a vertical conveyor frame for the above-mentioned front machine, the cassette can be operated as a front machine in which it is loaded and unloaded from the cassette storage unit through an opening formed on the front of the main body frame.

[0013] On both lower sides of the cassette storage portion of the main body frame, cassette support guides may be provided to support cassettes being ejected and retracted, having a predetermined length from the front position of the main body frame to the rear.

[0014] A fastening portion may be formed on the vertical conveyor frame for the front unit to be fastened and fixed to the rear of the main body frame.

[0015] When the above-mentioned vertical conveyor frame is applied as a vertical conveyor frame for the rear unit, the device can be operated as a rear unit in which the cassette is loaded and unloaded through an opening formed on the rear of the main body frame while the vertical conveyor is rotated to the rear.

[0016] On both lower sides of the cassette storage portion of the main body frame, cassette support guides may be provided to support cassettes being ejected and retracted, having a predetermined length from the rear position of the main body frame and arranged side by side.

[0017] An insertion opening is formed on the side opposite to where the hinge portion is located in the vertical conveyor frame for the rear unit, and a fixing projection may be formed on the rear side of the main body frame to prevent sagging of the vertical conveyor frame for the rear unit by being inserted into the insertion opening when the vertical conveyor frame for the rear unit is rotated in a direction that closes the rear side of the main body frame.

[0018] A locking pin is formed on the side opposite to where the hinge portion is located in the vertical conveyor frame for the rear unit, and a vertical conveyor frame fixing portion may be provided on the rear side of the main body frame, wherein a hook portion is formed that engages with the locking pin when the vertical conveyor frame for the rear unit is rotated in a direction that closes the rear side of the main body frame.

[0019] When compatible with either the front or rear unit, the front of the cassette is stored in a positioned front of the cassette storage unit, and the rear of the cassette is stored in a positioned rear of the cassette storage unit, so that the direction in which the cassette is stored is consistent.

[0020] The vertical conveyor frame for the front machine and the vertical conveyor frame for the rear machine can be manufactured by partially modifying the core of a mold in a single family mold.

[0021] According to the financial automation device capable of compatible application to the front and rear units according to the present invention, by configuring the vertical conveyor path to be rotatable around the hinge part, the frame structure of the front unit can be compatiblely applied to the rear unit.

[0022] In addition, by partially modifying the core of a single family of molds, both the vertical conveyor frame for the front machine and the vertical conveyor frame for the rear machine can be manufactured, thereby reducing the equipment cost of the molds for manufacturing the vertical conveyor frames.

[0067] Meanwhile, referring to FIGS. 7 to 9, an insertion opening (313) is formed on the side opposite to where the hinge part (312) is located in the vertical conveyor frame (310-2) for the rear unit, and a fixing projection (161) may be formed on the rear side of the main body frame (100-2) to prevent the vertical conveyor frame (310-2) for the rear unit from sagging downward when the vertical conveyor frame (310-2) for the rear unit is rotated in a direction that closes the rear side of the main body frame (100-2).

[0068] Additionally, a locking pin (314) is formed on the side opposite to where the hinge part (312) is located in the vertical conveyor frame (310-2) for the rear unit, and a vertical conveyor frame fixing part (150) may be provided on the rear side of the main body frame (100-2), having a hook part (152) that engages with the locking pin (314) when the vertical conveyor frame (310-2) for the rear unit is rotated in a direction that closes the rear side of the main body frame (100-2).

[0069] The above vertical conveyor frame fixing part (150) may include a vertical frame (151) having the hook part (152) formed on the upper and lower parts, and an elastic member (153) that applies elastic force in the direction in which the hook part (152) is caught on the locking pin (314).

[0070] Meanwhile, a front locking part (141) for locking one end of the front plate (140) of the main body frame (100-2) may be provided on the front side of the main body frame (100-2).

[0071] As in the first and second embodiments described above, the vertical conveyor frame (310-1, 310-2) constituting the vertical conveyor path (300-1, 300-2) can be selected and compatiblely applied with either the vertical conveyor frame (310-1) for the front unit, which is provided with a structure fixed by being coupled to the rear of the main body frame (100-1) of the front unit (1-1), or the vertical conveyor frame (310-2) for the rear unit, which is provided with a structure that can open and close the rear of the main body frame (100-2) by rotating around a hinge part (312) provided on one side of the rear of the main body frame (100-2) of the rear unit (1-2).

[0072] In addition, the vertical conveyor frame (310-1) for the front machine and the vertical conveyor frame (310-2) for the rear machine can be manufactured with an overall similar shape, differing only in some shape formed at the edge of the frame. That is, since there are only some differences in the shape of the fastening part (311) formed on the vertical conveyor frame (310-1) for the front machine and the hinge part (312), locking pin (313), and locking pin (314) formed on the vertical conveyor frame (310-2) for the rear machine, they can be manufactured by partially changing the core of the mold in a single family mold.

[0073] Therefore, the equipment cost of molds for manufacturing vertical conveyor frames for front and rear machines can be reduced.

[0074] As described above, although the present invention has been explained in detail with reference to preferred embodiments, the present invention is not limited to the aforementioned embodiments, and it is possible to implement it with various modifications within the scope of the claims, the detailed description of the invention, and the attached drawings, and such modifications are also included in the present invention.
