Sound volume adjustment method and apparatus

Abstract

The present application discloses a sound volume adjustment method and apparatus, which can be applied to the technical field of vehicles. The sound volume adjustment method comprises: a current media sound volume of a device being a first sound volume, and the first sound volume being the sound volume at which the device plays back a first media stream; and when acquiring a second media stream, if the source of the first media stream is different from the source of the second media stream, the device determining a second sound volume on the basis of information of the second media stream and the first sound volume, and playing back the second media stream on the basis of the second sound volume. In this way, when the device locally plays back the second media stream, automatic adjustment of a media sound volume is achieved, and a sudden change in the sound volume is avoided, thereby improving the auditory experience of a user, facilitating protection of the hearing of the user, and greatly reducing the frequency of adjusting the media sound volume by the user.
