Abstract

A device for automatic insertion of a flexible strip into a mold cavity using a fixture. A front end of a sealing strip is maintained in a folded state by means of a profiling cavity provided in a flexible sealing strip fixture assembly, a fixture profiling upper cover plate and a fixture profiling base press and clamp the sealing strip, then a conveying gripper of a robot clamps a conveying support provided on the fixture profiling base and conveys the flexible sealing strip fixture assembly to a strip-insertion power module, and the strip-insertion power module drives the flexible sealing strip on the flexible sealing strip fixture assembly to be inserted into a lower mold cavity under the guidance of a front‑end profiling upper guide and a front‑end profiling lower guide, thereby achieving automatic strip insertion to meet production requirements, improving production efficiency, and improving the degree of automation. When demolding needs to be performed, the robot can also drive the flexible sealing strip fixture assembly to move backward in the reverse direction, and an opening / closing assembly on the mold strip-insertion power module is used to open the fixture profiling upper cover plate, so that the fixture can be separated from the flexible sealing strip, thereby providing a prerequisite for automated product demolding.
