Abstract

The present invention relates to the technical field of antibodies. Disclosed are a monoclonal antibody 5E9 for recognizing a human R9AP and a use thereof. The monoclonal antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof has a high affinity to an R9AP and can significantly inhibit the infection of EB virus (EBV) on epithelial cells and B cells. The antibody can be used for detecting the presence or level of the R9AP in a sample, detecting diseases caused by high expression of the R9AP and preventing EBV infections and / or treating and / or preventing diseases caused by EBV infections.
