Abstract

Improvement introduced in agricultural equipment. The present utility model patent application, essentially characterized by a woody vegetation suppression device, being a forestry implement, whose function consists of shredding woody vegetation, shrubs, grass, stumps and pruning debris; it is composed of: a fully reinforced steel metal structure, with three-point hitch for the wheeled tractor, drive shaft, bidirectional transmission box with lateral transmission made with belts and pulleys and at the bottom a shaft with offset positioned blades; The equipment is attached to the front of a wheeled tractor, where it is powered by the tractor's power take-off (PTO). The PTO rotates at high speed through the main and secondary transmissions, activating the cutting system. This causes the shaft underneath the equipment, which is equipped with cutting blades, to reach a high torque, capable of shredding all vegetation that comes into contact with it. The benefit is mechanizing the vegetation clearing process, using shredding instead of traditional burning, providing a faster and more environmentally friendly operation, as well as increased productivity compared to traditional methods.
