Abstract

This invention provides the application of *Bifidobacterium breve* in the preparation of products for treating gastric ulcers and gastric inflammation caused by *Helicobacter pylori*, belonging to the field of microbial technology. The *Bifidobacterium breve* NKU BB1-2 of this invention, with accession number GDMCC NO: 65956, can antagonize *Helicobacter pylori* colonization and alleviate the aggravation of gastric ulcers caused by *Helicobacter pylori*. In vitro, *Bifidobacterium breve* NKU BB1-2 exhibits good antagonistic ability against *Helicobacter pylori*, significantly inhibiting its colonization and growth. Animal experiments show that *Bifidobacterium breve* NKU BB1-2 can alleviate the aggravation of gastric ulcers caused by *Helicobacter pylori* infection in vivo, manifested as reduced gastric mucosal damage, reduced gastric inflammation, and increased gastric pH. Furthermore, *Bifidobacterium breve* NKU BB1-2 can significantly enhance gastric microbial diversity, regulate and improve the gastric microbial structure, and assist in antagonizing and eradicating *Helicobacter pylori* infection.
