This invention provides a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) whitening and freckle-removing composition and its application in the preparation of skincare products. The TCM whitening and freckle-removing composition comprises the following raw material components by weight percentage: Dendrobium nobile extract (principal ingredient) 0.1-5.0%; Astragalus membranaceus extract (assistant ingredient) 0.5-8.0%; Papaya extract 0.1-3.0%; Polygonum multiflorum extract 0.1-3.0%; Ginseng extract 0.05-2.0%; Ligusticum chuanxiong extract 0.05-2.0%; oil-soluble licorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra, containing glycyrrhizin) 0.01-1.0%; Carthamus tinctorius (Saffron) extract 0.01-0.5%; and Angelica sinensis extract 0.05-1.0%. Based on TCM principles, this invention uses authentic Chinese medicinal materials and modern extraction and formulation techniques to create various formulations of skincare products that offer both external whitening effects and gentle repair, thus solving the technical problem of long-term, safe, and effective whitening and freckle-removing treatment.
