Abstract

This invention relates to the field of chemical reaction apparatus technology, specifically to a multi-stage swirling mixing tubular reactor and an adiabatic nitration process. The multi-stage swirling mixing tubular reactor includes a tubular reactor and a swirling feed nozzle, with the swirling feed nozzle located at one end of the tubular reactor. The swirling feed nozzle has a central feed channel and an annular feed channel radially arranged, coaxial with the tubular reactor. A central swirler is installed in the central feed channel, and an annular swirler is installed in the annular feed channel. This invention helps to solve the problems of uneven mixing and localized overheating in traditional adiabatic nitration reactions.
