Abstract

This invention provides a lubricating oil and its application. The lubricating oil includes a base oil, detergent, antioxidant, dispersant, friction reducer, pour point depressant, and viscosity index improver. The friction reducer includes a carbamate and a phosphate ester as shown in Formula 1. The carbamate includes dibutyl dithiocarbamate, with a mass percentage of 0.2% to 0.5% for the dibutyl dithiocarbamate and a mass percentage of 0.1% to 0.3% for the phosphate ester. This lubricating oil possesses excellent high-temperature detergency, soot dispersibility, oxidation resistance, wear resistance, and low friction characteristics, and can simultaneously meet the lubrication requirements of engines and transmission systems, thus achieving standardization of oils used in engines and transmission systems.
