Five-grain worm oil with synergistic enrichment of epa and nervonic acid and preparation method thereof

Abstract

This invention discloses a method for preparing EPA- and nervonic acid-enriched *Pteris vittata* oil, belonging to the field of fatty acid extraction technology. The method uses *Pteris vittata* as raw material, employing supercritical CO2 extraction to obtain crude oil, which is then enriched through enzymatic ester exchange and urea inclusion purification processes. Following solvent removal, decolorization, and deodorization, the EPA- and nervonic acid-enriched *Pteris vittata* oil is obtained. The *Pteris vittata* oil prepared by this invention contains ≥15g / 100g of EPA and ≥5g / 100g of nervonic acid, significantly promoting the synthesis and accumulation of phospholipids in the brain and exhibiting excellent repair and protection effects on nerve cells damaged by hydrogen peroxide. It can be widely used in the preparation of foods, health products, or pharmaceuticals that improve cognitive function, promote nerve repair, or maintain brain health.
