Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for the synthesis of a polypeptide consisting of a predetermined amino acid sequence. The method according to the invention comprises coupling cycles for coupling an N-terminal protected amino acid building block to the N-terminal unprotected amino group of an amino acid chain, wherein at least one coupling cycle comprises a coupling step (a), a capping step (b) and a deprotection step (c).
