Abstract
Provided are: an animal feed exhibiting an improved effect on body weight gain in organisms to be fed compared with conventional products; a method for preparing the same; and a feeding method using the animal feed. An animal feed comprising a fermented product of blackcurrant fruits is used. As the blackcurrant fruits, for example, a residue after pressing blackcurrant juice can be used. In particular, a fermented product of blackcurrant obtained by using koji mold (Aspergillus oryzae) is suitably usable therefor.
