Abstract
The invention relates to a fan (1) comprising an inlet (11), an outlet (12), an impeller (13) arranged between them, which is configured to generate a fluid flow (S) from the inlet (11) to the outlet (12), a mechanical closure (21) which has a closed position, flow-wise closing the inlet (11) and an open position, flow-wise releasing the inlet (11), and a pneumatic linear actuator (22) connected to the mechanical closure (21), which is configured to move the closure (21) from the open position to the closed position and from the closed position to the open position, wherein the pneumatic linear actuator (22) is designed to automatically return the closure (21) to the closed position and is flow-wise connected to a pressure tap (23) arranged between the inlet (11) and the impeller (13).by which a negative pressure can be generated in the pneumatic linear drive (22) that holds the closure (21) in the open position and / or moves it into the open position.
