AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

The sealing component in electrophoresis medium containers experiences changes in contact area and sliding resistance due to internal pressure, leading to unstable liquid discharge pressure and varying discharge amounts, which complicates precise control and increases costs.

Method used

The sealing surface of the electrophoresis medium container closely adheres to the inner wall, minimizing contact area changes and using a sealing component with a U-shaped cross-section and grooves to stabilize pressure and prevent leakage.

Benefits of technology

Stabilizes liquid discharge pressure, reduces leakage risk, and enables precise control of discharge amounts, thereby reducing running costs and ensuring consistent electrophoresis medium supply.

Abstract

Electrophoresis medium container (2) comprising the following: a syringe part (51) that holds an electrophoresis medium (56); and a sealing component (52) that seals one end of the syringe part (51), wherein the sealing component (52) is open on an upper side, has a U-shaped cross-section and seals the electrophoresis medium (56) within the electrophoresis medium container (2), and the sealing component (52) has: a sealing surface (58); a body part (61); and a groove (60) provided between the sealing surface (58) and the body part (61) in which the sealing surface (58) is in contact with an inner wall of the syringe part (51), and the body part (61) then, when the sealing component (52) expands due to an internal pressure of the electrophoresis medium container (2), does not come into contact with the inner wall, whereby an outer diameter of the sealing surface (58) is larger than an outer diameter of another section of the sealing component (52) and larger than an inner diameter of the syringe part (51), characterized by the fact that several sealing components (52) are connected in a vertical direction.
