The short version The invention relates to an electronic parking disc (10) for displaying the parking time in vehicles. To ensure adhesive-free and durable attachment, the housing has an angled retaining section (14). This section is dimensioned so that it can be inserted into the gap between the windshield and the dashboard of a vehicle. The angle (16) and optional friction elements (18) securely fix the parking disc (10) solely by clamping action and positive locking, without obstructing the view or leaving any residue. The technical field The present invention relates to the field of time measuring devices for motor vehicles, in particular electronic parking discs which are arranged inside the vehicle to indicate the start of parking, and their mechanical fastening devices. State of the art Currently, conventional electronic parking discs are attached exclusively to the inside of the windshield using adhesive pads; no other mounting methods exist on the market. Both permanently bonded versions and those using a bonded base to which the parking disc magnetically adheres are available. However, both methods have several disadvantages: First, adhesives tend to lose their bonding strength under intense summer heat, causing the device or base to fall off. Second, such mountings leave stubborn residue on the windshield when removed or when changing vehicles (e.g., leased or rented vehicles). Third, the positioning is inflexible after bonding, as switching between different vehicles is not possible without reapplying adhesive. The task and solution of the invention The problem is solved by a parking disc (10) which has a retaining section (14) that is offset or angled relative to the display section (12). The retaining section (14) is attached by simply inserting it into the gap between the windshield and the dashboard. The mechanical clamping force ensures a secure fit. To guarantee optimal fixation even in vehicles with larger gaps, the invention also includes an optional filler element (24). This filler element (24), which preferably consists of a soft, compressible material (e.g., foam or rubber), can be applied or glued onto the retaining section (14). This allows the overall thickness of the retaining section (14) to be individually adapted to the existing gap and also increases the slip resistance due to the increased frictional resistance of the soft material. Ways to implement the invention In a preferred embodiment according to Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3 to Fig. 4, the electronic parking disc (10) comprises a housing with a display part (12) in which a display (20) for displaying the time is housed. The lower retaining section (14) is essential, as it is connected to the display section (12) via a step or angled section (16). As can be clearly seen in the side view (Fig. 4), the retaining section (14) is flatter than the main housing in order to fit into narrow gaps between the windshield and the dashboard. Friction elements (18), such as wave-shaped projections or a rubber coating, are located on the front of the mounting section (14). These elements (18) increase adhesion to the dashboard surface, prevent slippage, and eliminate the annoying rattling or clanging noises between the windshield and the parking disc that could be caused by vibrations and shocks during driving. Due to its geometry, the display element (12) lies flat or at an ergonomic angle against the windshield after installation, without obstructing the driver's view. Electronic parking disc (10) for motor vehicles, comprising a housing with a display part (12) for displaying a parking time, characterized in that the parking disc (10) has at least one retaining section (14) angled, offset or resulting from the main plane of the display part (12), which is designed to fix the parking disc (10) in a gap existing on the side of the vehicle, in particular between the windshield and the dashboard, without adhesive and in a form-fitting manner by mechanically inserting the retaining section (14) into a gap existing on the side of the vehicle.
