Measuring device for high voltage switchgear cells

Abstract

A measuring device (20) adapted for connection to a busbar (8) of a high-voltage switchgear (10). The device comprises a housing (21) made of insulating material, an integrated electrical measuring circuit (22), and a power conductor (23) connected to the electrical circuit (22). The housing (21) has a truncated conical cavity (26) through the center of which the power conductor (23) protrudes. This cavity (26) is adapted to engage a connecting sleeve (30) of a connection interface (15) of the switchgear (10), thereby electrically connecting the power conductor (23) to the busbar.
