Abstract

Alarm system for electric meter protection boxes in meter boxes or enclosures (1) with a door (2) and a lock (3), integrated or functionally connected to an alarm system, characterized by comprising - at least one means of physical detection associated with the box or enclosure itself (1), its door (2) or its closure (3); - means configured to detect or receive an electrical event relating to loss or alteration of the electrical supply; - a central unit (5), with a processor, an emergency battery and a wireless communication system with an alarm receiving center (ARC), connected to the physical detection means and the means for detecting electrical events, and configured to structurally correlate one or more physical events detected in the enclosure with said electrical event within a configurable time window, so that the concurrence of at least one physical event of the enclosure with the electrical event generates within the alarm system an operating state different from that generated by the isolated electrical event, producing a contextualized security signal indicative of sabotage or unauthorized access.
