Abstract

A windrow tumer machine is a machine which is used to turn and mix a pile of compost that is prepared from different ingredients of agricultural wastes or feedstocks. The machine comprising of body part (structural frame) 1, diesel engine(2), drum(10) which consists (shaft, blades, connecting plates& bushing), driving mechanisms(3) (pulleys, belts & bearings), tires and its accessories. This machine 6 a semiautomated machine that is derived mainly by petrol / diesel engine with the support of pushing force of persons. The diesel engine is uses to drive the drum of the machine which causes the turning and aeration of the compost. By then, it is pushed by two persons being aside to each other towards a pile lay dawn in parallel with direction of the machine movement.
