Abstract

Encoding methods, decoding methods, encoders, decoders, and storage media are provided in the disclosure. In the disclosure, whether on the encoding side or the decoding side, a first intraprediction value of the target subpartition in the current block is determined according to a first intraprediction mode, a second intraprediction mode for the target subpartition is determined based on a reference sample of the target subpartition, a second intraprediction value of the target subpartition is determined according to the second intraprediction mode, and an intraprediction value of the target subpartition is determined based on the first intraprediction value and the second intraprediction value.Thus, when the intra-subpartition (ISP) mode is used for the current block, the content characteristics of the reconstructed region are fully utilized, the second intraprediction mode is adaptively selected, and fusion prediction is performed on the subpartition by combining the second intraprediction mode with the first intraprediction mode, thereby improving the prediction accuracy of the ISP mode, and thus further improving the coding performance.
